Great place to stay the people are lovely. Its a bummer that all their great amenities have to be closed because of covid because they looked great.
First time passing through here didn’t find anything spectacular about the stay. Every time after was well taken care of. Front staff is very courteous. They do need to replace that kid that works at night. Rude and seems to hate working there.
Room was clean but the 5 star review is for the front desk associate Alyssa. We checked in over night and she was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Great customer service!
Nice place and clean. Staff, alyssa, super nice and accommodating..10 stars for her! Close to most things. Stay on upper floors for quietness..noisy with foot traffic on 1st. Pool/spa on small size..
This is a nice Inn. It has a good size indoor pool and a nice gym. The continental breakfast was delicious and there was a better variety than most places. The staff were friendly and helpful. You can't beat that.
Very clean, pleasant employees, pool & hot tub. Great free breakfast, all around great place to stay. Highly recommend.
Everything was excellent. Room was clean and roomy. The only complaint is that the pool was closed for deep cleaning which I guess makes me happy they do such a thing. We asked for recommendations for dinner and were directed to a wonderful restaurant called "Dinner Time". The food and service was wonderful! Breakfast had many choices.
Although there were some issues when I stayed here overall this is a nice hotel. Friendly staff - Military Discount - complimentary breakfast - comfortable/spacious room - decent price- nice decor. The pool is a little small and there isn't much privacy since the whole wall is windows and it's placed in a heavy trafficked area. I stayed in the jacuzzi suite which was very spacious. The jacuzzi in my suite was actually bigger than the one by the pool for all guests. There was also a cute wetbar in the room with a minifridge/freezer. However, I was disappointed in the cleanliness and upkeep of the room especially since it was a suite. There were stains on the carpet in my living room and bedroom area, a living area light that didn't work, some sort of vent cap from the bathroom ceiling was broken and laying on the counter so there was a big eerie hole in the bathroom ceiling, the wash cloths looked like they had hard water stains on them (any stains on hotel linens is super questionable), and there was some left over liquid/dirt in the jacuzzi (I usually wipe the tubs out anyway but that was pretty gross). I honestly think I just had an unfortunate experience here. Most likely a housekeeper rushing and not being thorough. Unfortunate because it seems like such a nice hotel.
I stayed here back in May 2017 and wrote a view of 4* due to the room being sparse while in renovations, but gotta give it 5* now. Room with king bed and big long sofa was very comfortable. Everything was clean and in good working order. WiFi was strong and TV worked well. Included both fridge and microwave. Front desk staff were very cordial, professional and efficient. Breakfast was good, with a variety of items in a clean, spacious, brightly-lit area. We brought our dog and that worked out well too. Many people were using the indoor pool and hot tub and definitely were enjoying themselves.
This experience was not good. First of all I do want yo give kudos to all hotel's that allow pets that is the only reason I gave two stars. The maid did not have our room ready, she was busy on her phone to do her job. There were coffee stains on the bottom of the furniture and the room was congested with a smell that when I slept I felt like I couldn't breath right. I know plenty of ppl who have dogs and you walk into their apartment and it doesn't smell like dogs run the place. Thank the Lord is was one night. I couldn't do two even if I tried.
Clean rooms, nice staff, be carful in the jacuzzi not sure if they are cleaned often but the pool is great
Quick check in and out. Room was nice and clean. Water pressure and temperature for shower was great.
Great pet friendly hotel. Very nice newly redecorated rooms. Staff was excellent!!
The hotel is clean and offers some nice, toughtful refreshments to the guests: coffee, tea and biscuits in the lobby, all day long.
Thanks to the manager we were able to have accomodations on a very busy weekend. Having to come to NY on short notice, due to a death in the family, it was good to feel there was someone being helpful in this way. Also the manager and staff took consideration of my wife's physical needs and responded positively to our several requests. Thanks again.
Rooms were much better than expected. Paid a low price but actually rooms very spacious. Recently renovated inside the hotel hotel feels clean and modern.
Only down side is no shower gels available in the bathroom just soap and shampoo which is fine but the soap really dried out the skin.
Great, uncomplicated stay with plenty of amenities for a very reasonable price. Big, clean rooms, and a very helpful staff all around. Nicole Traver and her team made a "just what we needed" stay all the better.
Very nice staff, cute and clean rooms.
Bed was very comfortable, room had a good temperature not to hot not to cold. Only down fall was NO TV...... odd but whatever was a nice stay!
Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Down falls were bed sheets had a real light stain on them towards the bottom of the bed and bathroom light starts to flicker after it was on for a while. I probably won’t ever stay at any of these hotels again.
Rip the carpets out the room please. They are actually sticky. My daughter got a severe allergy attack. Otherwise staff are super nice and its clean otherwise.
Great place to rent, hotel stay. Their breakfast is fabulous! Clean quiet place. I would stay again, when taveling.
Average low budget hotel. Friendly staff, comfortable beds but could be cleaner. We found an old sock on the floor by the bed that was not ours. TV did not work. Pool was nice but the walls had lots of peeling paint that look like it has been that way for a while. The parking lot had large holes so be careful. You have to park in the rear and walk around front in the driveway, carefully or might get run over. Also as mentioned in another post the sign is not seen on the road until you pass it. Breakfast is free was very basic, had waffles and frozen muffins, fruit was not good.
Overall decent for the price.
We enjoyed the stay at this hotel. It was very clean and comfortable. It has a pool and fitness room. Unfortunately the pool was crowded all night and the treadmill was out of service. Nice breakfast area and the breakfast was pretty good. There are several restaurants nearby. It was about a 15 minute drive to downtown to Albany. Would reccomend a stay here.
