BEST WESTERN Albany Airport Inn

The bed was comfortable and the bedding was super soft & I could cuddle in. Slept so well I didn't wake up till after breakfast was over. The staff was fantastic both at check in & out. Will make a point of staying here next time I'm traveling to RIT

Reminds you of the shinning movie lol but good rooms does have an inside pool which is kind of rare for a lot of hotels/motels..... Does have a gym but not operational as this moment during the Covid-19 pandemic

Stayed here for few days. Very nice and comfortable place. I really enjoyed pool and their food. Lower rates compare to what others are offering. I definitely recommend!

Courteous respectful understanding and they know how they listen they understand sir I just can’t say that enough it is so clean here they work day in and day out when I’m coming in and out I don’t care what time it is or day it is they are always do an upkeep cleaning doing the floors they are wet ready and willing to help you with or answer any questions and whatever let you basically need the rooms are freaking awesome they have good TVs they have on demand

L no charge it at that the microwaves work the lights work the refrigerator works there’s nothing nasty about it at all they have rooms and walk directly out into the pool I mean spring break who can’t be that if you have kids fight it doesn’t matter I so far believe that this place is like the best place ever that if you had to stay somewhere in Albany I would stay here for sure their rates are freaking awesome but once again is the staff it’s the people that work here that make your time here a pleasant peaceful and let’s not forget the free breakfast!! They got a waffle machine .. winner winner

After a long trip, we arrived at 2am without any reservations. They were nice enough to take us in and even show us the room before-head. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was everything we need for one-night stay. We were two girls alone and we felt really safe in this place thanks to the friendly staff.

The woman Elsa who took my reservations was very professional on the phone was very considerate of my needs. When my wife and I arrived the it was another person here she was very professional she was more than happy to move us from the back corner park place where they were going to put us to closer to the lobby which I greatly appreciate. A few downfalls for the Hotel but overall it was very nice comfy bed was comfortable rooms were clean pool was nice and warm the room didn't look like the pictures that they show but overall the state was well worth it.

Nice. Only stayed one night. Room was clean, bathroom was a little dated and small. There was no pressure at shower head and shower curtain wouldn't stay closed. But other than those minor things great stay.

I rented 2 connecting rooms by the pool. I was able to see the rooms before booking. Bob and the entire staff were very helpful, including housekeeping. Rooms were clean. No complaints. Pool was wonderful. We were able to eat pizza and cake by the pool. Everything was clean and we are already planning our next stay. Thanks for making our weekend a great! We will be back!

Decent budget hotel. Wasn't looking for more than a reasonable place to sleep while attending a conference. Room was well appointed (including small microwave and refrigerator). Pool was in a nice indoor courtyard. (No hot tub, though.) Breakfast is where Best Western shines, eggs and meat, pastries & bagels, cereals and made-to-order waffles.



Only downside, furnishings and walls have noticeable damage and wear.

Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant lobby with complimentary coffee and tea always available. Our guestroom was attractively decorated and had plenty of outlets for electronics. Good variety of food at the complimentary breakfast. Airport shuttle service was prompt and efficient.

This was a fine hotel room in fine location. It's what I would expect for the price. Check-in was smooth, room was clean, beds comfortable, everything worked just fine. Air-conditioning worked well. Breakfast was just okay, adequate. I would stay here again.

Very good place. Everything was great. Restaurant has great food. Free breakfast is also very good.

I booked the room from July 5-9. Today is the 7th. So been in here 2 and a half nights. It's absolutely wonderful. Great price, great breakfast, great customer service. I'm super excited to be here. It's all under remodeling stages however but when this place is completely finished I'm sure it's going to be even better. Can not complain at all. Pool outside of my room as well as the courthouse is absolutely beautiful. We will be staying again when we come back . No questions asked. Hope the next 2 days are just as good.

Great location and very clean. It has the best continental breakfast I've ever eaten in. Staff very professional and courteous.

The staff was very courteous. The beds were very comfortable, they feel like the beds in the Hampton Inn. I liked that the refrigerators had a freezer that you could actually use, bigger than the compact size. The room wasn’t immaculate, but was clean and cozy. The pool was clean and was a good temp. Instead of a hot breakfast, they have a few options to grab and go. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

A family member has been staying here recently and they tell me the staff has been wonderful and helpful. Thank you for treating my family as if they were your own!

I'd like to take a minute to say THANKS to this hotel. It was very comfortable and very CLEAN. l had the pleasure of meeting the Owner and he truly seemed to be PROUD of his establishment and I have to say that it certainly shows. If you're looking for the Ritz, go elsewhere. But if you want a clean, comfortable room, with a welcoming staff, then this is the place to come. Me, My Wife, and our Grandson stayed for two nights and had a very good time. My Grandson absolutely loved the pool, which was also very clean and heated. I'm an over the road truck driver and was able to park my truck and trailer on site without any issue or concerns. We'll be back in the future for another mini-vacation.

Smooth checkin and rooms were very clean

I have them 4 stars because this place is nice and it has a great breakfast layout. However, I didn't get to stay there so I cannot comment on the rooms and the services within this place; especially since I only dealt with the immigrants. But from what I saw, the place appears to be fantastic.

I had a reservation mix up during an important sports wknd for my son Rahul was so helpful, went out of his way to correct our reservation even during a sold out weekend. He is very good at his job and we would definitely stay at this hotel again based on the customer service we received. He was very helpful with with tips on what is near by the hotel also.

My only complaint was the plumbing needs some improvement but nothing that required our stay.

Outstanding Customer Service BIG Shout Out to the Manager who took time out of her day to drive shuttle so we could be picked up and dropped off. This type of above and beyond customer service is few and far between these days and is greatly appreciated. As far as facility the only two changes I could recommend are 1) better floor house keeping in lobby and restrooms “could be cleaner” and 2) Better Breakfast option. I realize with the Cov19 it’s difficult to have what use to be considered “Normal” but the current Breakfast options leave little to be desired. Bananas & apples can be pe purchased at any grocery along with a pack of muffins. I don’t believe that would be too difficult. Over all I do recommend this location and will be more than happy to stay again myself

Stayed here for a night with my family for a little weekend getaway. Would definitely stay again, inexpensive hotel with an indoor pool. For a cheaper hotel, it was comfortable.

I had a great time and met some very nice people during my stay... Whenever I go to Albany I will attempt to stay here... It's clean comfortable and close to everything downtown.

Very helpful staff that works hard to make you feel more comfortable in what can only be described as a well outdated building. The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast very good. The selling point is the indoor pool. A small but deep enough pool ..adults prepare for an invasion of children ... It's the reason I stayed a few extra days. Wifi was a hassle to set up but once things clicked it was quite fast. Only loses a star for age, smell, wear and tear ..to be expected in this old Best Western Albany Airport.

This hotel receives a lot of bad reviews and I think reality and perspective are required! You are not paying $300+ a night … not even close. You aren’t going to have a luxurious room!! :) I paid $150 for one night which included the usual amenities, breakfast the next morning, a 2-week parking stay for my vehicle and a shuttle to and from Albany airport. I mean really folks, this is a great deal!!



The rooms are fine for a one-night stay. The room I had could use some uplifting (more specifically in the bathroom)… but again, one night was fine.



Shuttle service to and from Albany airport was perfect! Staff were friendly. Breakfast was fine, though the eating area needs better heating :)



My only true suggestion to the hotel staff, as mentioned, is to look into the bathroom area (ceiling, shower floor, caulking…these need repair).
