Hampton Inn Vancouver, WA:



I’ve stayed there twice (August and November 2021) availing myself it’s park while flying feature and very efficient shuttle service.

The hotel is well managed, new, clean, well maintained and staffed, at all levels by competent unceasingly pleasant personnel. My experiences on the other side of the Columbia have been more problematic with Portland’s crime wave. Hampton - Vancouver is a better option.

Clean, quite, and courteous. What more could you want in a well priced hotel?



The room exceeded expectations, the bathroom was very well laid out. Noise? None.



We used digital check-in and had the key on on phone.



The staff, when encountered, were very pleasant.



The breakfast was bery nice compared to other recent hotel stays.

Nice new facility, clean rooms, swimming pool and helpful staff. We stay there a few times per year.

This a great spot for those not wanting to be in the downtown area. Easy access to the Portland airport (IKEA and surround shopping malls) and Vancouver areas. They have a small but doable workout and pool area. Free Breakfast is generally good with lots of options from waffles, eggs, sausage or bacon, oatmeal, cereal, and fruit-bar! Parking is free and plenty along the front and back! This is our go-to when visiting the Portland/Vancouver area.

Its my first time to stay at this hotel. I am impressed with the hotel. Its nice abs the workers there are very accommodating.

Very friendly front desk agents, helped me out quickly and effectively, helped me reschedule by appointment for the following day after not making a flight.

Newer hotel, clean, good staff. Stayed here twice now for youth sport tournaments. Rooms are large.

The rooms are great size and clean. I love the front desk always welcoming.

I parked my car at Hampton Inn while i was gone for 2 weeks. I didn't stay there. The day before I got home someone from the Inn left me a message that I had a flat tire and that I should probably take care of it before I drive home. I appreciated that so much! 5 stars!

This hotel is quite new and in very nice condition. The bed and pillows were very comfy, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The only thing I didn't like about this hotel is that the blinds in the window are designed so that they can't be closed, which seemed very weird to me since I like it very dark when I sleep. Our room was on the back side of the hotel (not facing Mill Plain), so there fortunately wasn't much city or traffic light to flood in the window at least.

Our favorite part of the hotel was the pool! It's Very warm, which was a wonderful surprise - like, halfway between normal pool temperature and hot tub temperature 🙂 most hotel pools are too cold for me, but I was able to stay in this pool for well over an hour and felt comfortable the whole time.

Oh! The breakfast was delicious, with lots of items to choose from, and was included in the price! We love those make-them-yourselves waffle makers, fresh hot waffles in the morning are a wonderful way to start the day 🙂

The staff here is absolutely amazing. From check-in to check out, we were greeted and treated was such hospitality. Fran welcomed us, Angel saw us off. Angel,Scott & Melissa (I believe her name was?) helped me get my phone back when I left it in my room and caught a flight home. Melissa even reminded my coworkers later about it and is an absolute legend. I love this place & cannot recommend it enough!

We had a blast at this hotel. All of the staff we encountered were incredibly nice and helpful. The pool is awesome and WARM which can be rare for hotel pools! This is one of our favorite places to 'staycation' in the couve!

Warm, Friendly Environment. Quiet, very comfortable rooms. The complimentary breakfast was very good, with a nice assortment of pastries, yogurt, eggs, waffles and lots of fresh fruit.

This place is so well run and they allow dogs! I was very impressed and I was only there one night. Wish the pool was open longer and the breakfast had a bit more non-dairy options but it's still a 10/10 because staff was awesome.

This place is very clean and the staff are always polite and courteous. The hot breakfast is fine and they have pretty of other options to fill you up. I love that they remember our names and the staff seems to have very little turnover which says a lot.

This is a fantastic property. Great rooms. Clean. New TVs. Gym is excellent. Customer service is top-notch. I don't often give 5 star reviews. They deserve it. Good for business travel.

I have been to many Hampton Inn & Suites but this particular one is outstanding! What makes it so is their staff. The people who work here care about exceptional hospitality and it was awesome to see this. The staff created me warmly upon checking in and within an 1 hour of checking in, they texted me to make sure that my room was okay. Also during my stay, I had to schedule the shuttle for a 4:30am airport drop-off and they accommodated me on this as well. (They even had breakfast to go for some folks at that hour-wow!) (I would've had some breakfast but I'm allergic to wheat and dairy.)



The hotel is located in a nice spot. It is close to restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, etc. It is also about 10 minutes away from the Oregon (PDX) airport and Fort Vancouver National Park. The hotel was in a quiet spot and there were no issues with noise from guests or the busy street that was near.

The breakfast in the morning had a full spread which included: eggs, sausage, french toast, oatmeal,and fruit, plus they had almond milk (which is a huge plus for me being dairy free.)

The rooms were very nice and clearly updated recently or renovated. They also included daily housekeeping if you were interested (rare these days!)

The pool and sauna were nice as well, only downside was that the indoor pool had specks floating in it- I believe that sides of the pool were coming off, but it did not deter me from swimming. :-)



There is a reason that this hotel keeps getting 5 star reviews and it is their staff. They are great at their job and awesome at keeping the hospitality alive in Portland/Vancouver area. Thank you everyone, your hard work did not go unnoticed!

My wife and I stayed 4 nights here on a quick trip out west. We both agreed that this was the best hotel stay we have ever experienced. The room was great and the staff even better. Breakfast was served as advertised.

We received great customer service from Fran at the front desk. She was genuinely friendly and extremely helpful accommodating our needs on very short notice. A great overall experience!

Reserved a night at this property while traveling through the area. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns and I must say this one should be the model for all of them. An absolute perfect stay. Impressive on how well run and maintained this property is. Staff adds to the perfect rating. William at the front desk could not be more inviting and helpful.

Such an amazing stay. Quite frankly some of the kindest hotel staff I have EVER come across. Derrick was just icing on the cake, so helpful , kind and respectful. 10/10 stay. The folks here went beyond my expectations. If only all hotel staff were as amazing as they are.

Best Hampton Inn I've ever stayed at!!!! The customer service is something I've never experienced anywhere else. Rooms were super clean with zero dust. Breakfast was great and all day coffee with hot cocoa made me want to come back every time I visit Washington. Thank you to Fran and the other staff members that were so helpful and kind.

Great experience. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Rooms aren't really anything special, but feel very nice compared to most. I think it's how nice new and clean everything is.

I am not sure why Google shows this as a 2 star hotel, we stayed here for a weekend and it was fantastic! The staff were incredibly helpful, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was good. All around great experience, but the staff are what made are stay excellent.

Excellent accommodations, excellent customer service, and fair prices. The only issue we had was the pool was closed (by order of the county due to the Covid virus) and the backdoor key card entry never worked so we always had to use the front door to enter the hotel.

Always so nice. They go the extra mile having free food from local restaurants... usually 3 times a week. Comfortable beds. Great location.

Nice place easy to get too. Did not stay here though. My daughter had her dental school graduation her in a conference room which was very clean and nice.

Excellent service upon check in. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Parking excellent. Staff very helpful. Especially appreciate the extra effort in providing a good breakfast under the difficulties of current health restrictions.

In closing I would like to say that my stay was very much an invite to a different kind of way I wasn't used to but in a good way I always will have that Outlook that there's always room for improvement and it's just a little thiopngs that can make your company go above and beyond what today's world has to offer my Outlook on the stay of the time I was there it has very good outlooks for me returning this is the most likely I will return to you as in the hotel and all we have to do is keep doing what you're doing and then just put a little bit of the extra and I think you will have a good hotel for some years thank you again for your time and consideration

This is the nicest hotel in the Vancouver area I have stayed in. Very clean and nice. Breakfast was always good and they had some reception food items for two evenings during the week. Great food options close to the hotel but it is 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

Stayed here only for 1 night on a layover & the room was GREAT! Loved the breakfast that they offered & the convenience of the airport shuttle.



Yes, it is located a little farther away from the airport; but it's a nice drive (10min?). The front desk is excellent & rooms were exceptionally clean. Had a King room with 1 fold out sofa, which was great for the 3 of us.

Hotel is aesthetically pleasing on the eyes. Has a nice modern appeal. Nice size workout room and pool. Complimentary breakfast, snacks and water. Free food for guest on certain days. This Wednesday they're offering free burgers and hotdog s. The only issue I did encounter was there is a swim class held through another company on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-8pm and the class is held in the same pool the guest has access too. There was one swim instructor that was a little rude and stared the WHOLE time my family and I were swimming. I didnt let his demeanor affect my family and I from enjoying the pool. This may be something the hotel may want to ensure guest are aware beforehand.

Nice hotel, no frills. They serve actual breakfast instead of to go brown bags but it didn’t taste good. Customer service was great, ample diamond parking

I love staying here, they treat you like family and pick you up at the hotel with their van, the check in is the easiest and they always get me a room on the 1st floor because they know that is my preference.

Stayed in a 1 king room on the top floor. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave. The view from the window was unobjectionable. The room had adequate space, was clean, and everything was in good working order. The hotel is close to many restaurants and stores but probably not walking distance for most people...especially since there was heavy rain the entire week. There was adequate free parking during our entire stay.



Breakfast was included in the typical Hampton style. The were 2 make it yourself waffle machines and a rotating selection of hot foods like eggs and bacon. The breakfast attendant was constantly out there cleaning tables and maintaining the breakfast area. There is a well stocked little store next to the front desk with snacks, drinks, and other things you might have forgotten at home. It also had a selection of local wine.



Finally, it is relatively easy to get to the airport. About a 20 minute drive during non rush hour traffic.

Lovely hotel that I put my parents up in whenever visiting us. Rooms are nice and clean. Pool is great fun and not too cold. Breakfast is good with common choices. Friendly staff that treat my kids by letting them choose a prize from the coveted Treasure Chest!

Great new Hampton Inn. The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. The staff is all very courteous and quick to help. Plenty of parking and restaurants that are close.

Fantastic on all levels. The hotel was fresh and clean throughout. The staff and service provded were all tremendously friendly and helpful.

I love this hotel! No, it’s not anything super fancy, but it’s better than any other Hampton inn I’ve stayed at! It’s clean, staff is friendly and accommodating, they have awesome complimentary breakfast (today we had waffles, egg white frittatas, sausage links, and prime rib potato hash) they also have cereal, pressed juices, yogurt, bagels, toast, muffins, fresh fruit, and more! They also have complimentary dinners! I’ve never stayed at a hotel that does that. First night was sandwich night, second night was taco bar, and tonight is food from rib city grill. I would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed here before and love it. The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. The location is convenient and in a nice neighborhood (luxury apartments nearby), with easy access to the freeway, and a lot of restaurants of various price levels nearby.

This is an excellent hotel with fantastic service. The pool was open with a reservation. Everything was clean, would definitely recommend.

Really friendly and truly helpful staff. Great coffee all day and night in the lobby. Clean and well kept rooms with quiet heater. Great value for price and would stay there again. Only minus is the really thin walls and floors makes it loud when other rooms are talking, watching TV, chewing, snoring, other things I won't say...This lovely place should get a quick remodel to add sound insulation. They provide complimentary ear plugs in the room so obviously they know about the problem!

We love this hotel when we go visit family. Their breakfast bar is updated and is included with your stay. The staff are always friendly and make the stay easy.

Im a weekely traveler. This hotel had alot of little things that made it great. I had a room above me, below me, and next to me and never heard a sound. The free breakfast was great as my favorite part was the fresh cut up fruit basket (water melon, melon, strawberry, blueberry, and pineapple) which is sometimes thats rare at hotels. They had silk milk and sugar free syrup. On Tuesday they had free tacos and drinks. On Wednesday they had free bbq and drinks. Property is nice. Tiles had grip on it so your not slipping after showers. Tv was up to date and huge. Bed was comfy.

I absolutely love everything about this place. We drive 1hr 45mins to be here. Its close to everything. Plus we come here because my son plays baseball ⚾️. Its our travel place for baseball. Very clean staff are awesome very friendly helpful. Thank you 😊 💓

Nice hotel and a great location. But They now charge for parking $10 a night which isn't on the Hilton website. So take that into account. My vehicle got broken into while parked in the back parking lot. Which they don't have cameras on that side. The MGR on duty did everything he could. The area has a problem with homelessness and the police have their hands tied and didn't even come out to take a report. I got a phone call a day and a half later. Just next I know to park in the front. Friendly staff. Breakfast in the mornings and hot coffee most of the time just not from 12 am to 5 am.

The people of this hotel have a passion to help you. Everyone there made me feel welcome and at home. The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool, spa, and fitness center was clean and visual appealing. The breakfast was delightful and on Tuesday and Wednesday they have dinner for the guest. The dinners were so good and comforting when away from home.

I did the mobile check-in via the App. Got my digital key in the timely manner. It was a nice surprise when we got to the room that the crib (we request in advance) was already set up. Thank you so much. The room is a little small for little one to run around but it’s good enough for one night. Definitely a new built facility so everything is clean.

Staffs welcome us when we walked through the door. That wins my point for friendly staffs already. So far, no complaint.

Great stay with a friendly staff and mobile check in process. Parking is great at this location as well. I do wish the pillows were a bit firmer though.

It's a Hilton...what can I say?

Clean, close to a variety of fast food as well as dine-in/ take out restaurants, shopping close also, friendly staff, great buffet breakfast, variety of amenities, huge room. Nothing but the best.

We stayed here after our red eye was canceled last minute at PDX. Before COVID, I traveled every other week for work, and the bed and sheets were the comfiest I’ve ever slept on at a hotel. I pray they share that fabric softener secret with the rest of the industry.



The staff was also very accommodating throughout - allowed us to check out late and hang out in the lobby the next day until our flight left, and scheduled us a shuttle back to the airport. They even offered to drive us to a nearby park for part of the day so we could see some of the area before we left. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

We only used their airport parking and shuttle but they were amazing! Very quick and easy check in, parking was secure, shuttle was very fast and prompt, and the drivers are very nice.

Great price! Excellent hot breakfast (even during covid) Jen at the front desk goes above and beyond. Pool was clean and warm, great hottub, excellent workout room. One of our best hotel stays

This is a fine establishment. Nice buffet breakfast. The staff is awesome. I lost a tiny rubber thingie for my coat hanger and they found it! Amazing. Room is quiet. Bed is comfortable. Toiletries are nice. Even mouthwash! Nice that they have an iron for my wrinkly shirt.



The bed is oddly placed considering where the TV is though. It’s not cheap though but very nice.

A nice place to stay, where the kids can swim and enjoy them selves. Continental breakfast with a variety of choices, and complimentary coffee tea water and hot cocoa for the kids, or kid at heart!

Being one of the budget options in the Hilton line some Hampton Inns are not great. This location is exceptional. They are extremely professional and extremely polite. Very accommodating to me and my service animal. I will make it a point to stay at this location anytime I'm in the Vancouver Portland area.

This place is quiet as church! I had a restful afternoon and overnight here. The staff are accommodating and it’s clear that they enjoy their work. The property and rooms are immaculate. I would recommend this establishment, you won’t be disappointed.

Hampton Inn & Suites is the hotel brand I stay most and this one was good too. The only thing I didn't like was some constant machine noise that even lasted overnight; the sounds even disappeared if I moved to the bathroom. My room was close to the elevator but the sound didn't seem to be related to the elevator. Otherwise it would be a great stay.

This hotel was a great experience for all members of our family reunion/Celebration of Life! The hotel was beautiful and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the meeting room we used was great, as was the breakfast. We couldn't have asked for any better for our purpose this trip!

This is a very nice hotel - comfortable, quiet and very clean. Being off the freeway (but not too far) is a big plus. The staff is welcoming and helpful and the breakfast better than average. Although rather expensive, it's a welcome change from the average chain hotel. Definitely recommended if you're traveling through the area.

Spotless. Staff was incredible. Fran and Cisco were wonderful. Breakfast was met. Smoothies were great. Area is a bit remote so car needed.. eventually would stay again

They were so nice and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the beds were very comfy. The manager Steve and the staff Allison and Jen were so nice and helpful. Even during the COVID 19 quarantine it was a pleasant stay.

Loved the goody selection for status members upon check in, but wish there were vegan options.



Room 410 was not vacuumed from last stay or more.



2 nice queen beds, dinky microwave and fridge, nice 55" TV. Nice power outlets by beds and desk.



Shower head could be better, and I'll never understand the water wasting design of all these hotel shower setups, unless the water is getting recycled into landscape etc.



Hvac system by window is remotely controlled by the wall unit only.



Did not use the gym, pool, breakfast buffet, or shuttle to comment.

Great deal to park car while traveling. Front desk is very helpful and accommodating. Shuttle was great and timely!

Customer service! Katie at the front desk is amazing!! When you stay an extended amount of time at a location it's just nice to have nice people around you! To have them recognize you and say good morning to you and good evening it makes it feel safe and more like a home environment. Everyone was very delightful

2 things though:

No USB ports in the room? This is a first. I had to go buy a brick charger, but whatever.

2nd: the toilet constantly runs, due to the flush valve flapper or seal. I'll let them know in the morning.

The best hotel! From the moment i arrived Robert made me feel so welcome and he made sure we had everything we needed. All of the staff from the beginning of our trip till the end made it so welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and gourmet. From the rotation of daily made items to the selection available. We were traveling as a family with a little one and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Hands down the best place i have stayed.

We’ve been staying here for many, many years. The staff is friendly, efficient, and always helpful. The rooms are clean, and the new TVs are a very nice addition. Breakfast is quite good, made up of both hot and cold items. This is our go to place in Vancouver, Washington!

Super clean hotel accommodations. The complimentary breakfast spread has a really decent variety of things to select. The office amenities are good for meeting your basic needs. I didn’t use the gym and pool, but checked them out and they looked really well kept and clean. This hotel super close enough to get to the highway or back roads leading into Portland too.

This is a typical Hampton Inn. The rooms are clean, large enough if you don't plan on spending time in the room. The bathroom is small - meaning typical for this category hotel. Our bathroom smelled a bit musty, but I didn't see any sign of mold. Check-in was easy. It wasn't crowded on a Wednesday. They claim to have a saltwater pool but we didn't try it. They had a free soup and salad bar at 6pm. The salad was just a bagged lettuce salad. We didn't try the soup. The breakfast was free and looked typical for a mid-range hotel. We had a breakfast invitation so didn't eat at the hotel.

We had a large party staying at the hotel for a family wedding. We were very pleased with our rooms and very impressed by the staff! Everyone was super friendly and professional!

We were in town for a short time to relocate my mother-in-law and clear out some of her possessions. Our nights and mornings at the hotel were brightened by the friendly staff and comfortable room. Given restrictions from COVID-19, the breakfast was tasty and filling. The team worked hard to help us accomplish our plans in good spirits.

During a recent heat wave our home's AC went out causing us to desperately need a place to stay and safely get out of the heat (115 degrees outside, 94 inside our home.). I called around to about 5-6 hotels in our local area without luck finding accommodations, before calling our local Hampton Inn and Suites. Cisco answered my call and after a brief hesitation, went out of his way to make sure he could find us a room for that night. Upon checking in, Cisco continued to offer excellent customer service as well as did Nick. The next morning, Kathy was very friendly and helpful in answering our questions about the complimentary breakfast and helped to make sure our check out went very smoothly. My wife and I could not have been happier with our experience at our local Hampton Inn and Suites (Vancouver, WA-Mill Plain), and we have since related our positive experience to our family and friends and strongly recommended this hotel to them for any lodging needs they and/or out of town friends and family might need.

Wonderful Stay! Had a King Suite for the night for my wife's business trip.

Their king size bed was So Comfortablez we finally got some Good sleep! Very nice accommodations & staff were All Very Professional and Kind! The entire Hotel is Extremely Clean...Spotless Clean!!! The breakfast was Very Fresh & so many Great choices! We will Definitely be back to this one!!!

Stayed for three nights last week. The hotel is very clean and more spacious than most of similar hotels. The breakfast is very good. For the three mornings we were there, they have different variety of food each morning. They also offer to breakfast bagged to go. They even have umbrellas for the guests and we used it once while we were there. The only thing that surprised me a bit is that none of the staff was wearing masks, neither front desk nor staff serving breakfast were wearing masks. Not sure whether this is Washington or just this hotel.

Clean!!! This hotel is spotless and very quiet and comfortable. Easy going staff who are always friendly, helpful and go above and beyond to provide great customer service. I have stayed multiple times and I always have a very good experience. I love the guest laundry and lite breakfast in the morning. Rooms are super clean and cozy, hotel is spotless

Really great place to stay in the Vancouver WA/Portland OR area. We've stayed here a few times when coming down from Seattle to visit family, and the staff is always friendly. They have an EV charging plug which is a plus, and will help ensure no gas cars park there if you give them a heads up you are coming (they will put a cone out). Would be great if they could add a plug or 2 more as there were a few EVs I needed to share with, but overall still was able to keep my car charged to avoid having to take a break from my trip to explicitly fast charge.



Otherwise, pretty standard Hampton, nice new rooms, free breakfast, etc.

We stayed here for two nights recently, with 4 children and we all loved our stay. I can honestly say this was the best smelling and cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in a while! I’ll be returning, this week in fact. (I’m a local and this was a good place for a relaxing staycation.)

Very nice hotel. We had an issue with the room upstairs, who were letting the child run back and forth and jumping off the bed after 9pm. We called the front desk to ask if they could talk with the occupants, we had an early checkout scheduled to continue our trip. The front tdesk person, I'm sorry we don't remember her name, actually upgraded us to a suite and we were able to get a good nights rest. We will definitely use Hampton Inn again.

We had a pleasant experience, and a wonderful stay. Staff was professional, friendly, approachable, attentive and welcoming. We came for a friends 60th birthday celebration and had over 30 rooms blocked for our party. The breakfast was delicious, coffee was great. Thank you Fran and Robert for the great service and hospitality. The hotel was clean during our stay. We would stay here again.

We were in town to see family for a graduation. The rooms were larger than expected and had plenty of room for our family. Last minute we changed reservations from the BW down the street because it did not offer a breakfast for the same price. This hotel breakfast was one of the best we have experienced and the kids certainly took full advantage. The gym also had a large assortment of free weights and cardio equipment so we were able to keep up with our routines. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Wonderful place! Friendly staff, great breakfast with fresh berries and melons! Be aware, they allow pets on any floor.

Outstanding service. We used the parking service for the airport and the gentleman were kind and courteous. When we arrive back from our trip from Minnesota the plane arrived late and they had someone waiting for us and we never had to call and sit in the cold when we were so exhausted. Great service and great people.

I love staying at the Hampton. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and very spacious. We stayed in a room with two queen bed. There is no one having continental breakfast like the Hampton anymore. No one offers breakfast anymore since Covid hit us. They also have a charging station for EV just in front of the hotel. It’s free to charge(love it)

Our home office booked this for us. Amazing! Beds fantastic, service outstanding and food is always available whether it’s breakfast, taco bar on Tuesdays, fresh baked cookies or grab bag for breakfast on the go… awesome!!

Super clean and nice rooms. Staff is amazing, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast has a nice variety. Pool is is warm and comfortable not ice cold like most motels. My stay was amazing and I would definitely recommend. One safety concern I noticed was the mutiple filters/vents on the hot tub floor. This could pose a risk for falls because you cannot see them with jets on and I tripped over them several times. Otherwise place is amazing.

Overall, this is an excellent place to stay. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean. The staff members are very nice and accommodating. They offer a good variety of foods for breakfast and have dinner items two days a week. We stayed three nights and we would stay again. The only negative is that room walls are thin. If you have late-night talkers as neighbors, you might have trouble sleeping.
