Holiday Inn (PDX) is a straightforward off-airport Portland parking option for travelers who want a lower daily rate than the terminal garages and do not mind using an airport shuttle. The current lot record is set up as uncovered self-parking with a starting daily rate of $6.95 and a 4-day minimum booking window.
That minimum stay matters. This is not the best fit for a one-night or two-night trip. It makes more sense for longer PDX travel where the lower daily rate outweighs the extra shuttle step.
This lot sits on NE Columbia Boulevard, which puts it in the normal cluster of off-airport parking inventory used by Portland travelers who want a cheaper alternative to on-airport parking. The core tradeoff is simple: you save money compared with many terminal-adjacent choices, but you should plan a little more buffer time on the front and back end of the trip.

For Holiday Inn PDX, the answer is usually yes when your trip is long enough to justify the minimum stay and you are comfortable with shuttle-based airport access.

My personal experience was five star, from making the reservation, finding an appropriate parking spot, obtaining excellent transportation to the airport and picking my car up. The email reminder that it was close to pick-up time and that I could extend my parking, was very helpful. The reason I rate this four out of five is because the car next to me had two attempts to break in, with the smashing of the driver side door handle and the breaking open of the gas tank, the gas cap missing. I do not hold this company responsible, as it was a reminder that parking anywhere could result in someone attempting to break in my car.
My car was safe and in the same condition I left it in. The shuttle drivers were nice and we had prompt pickup.
We have used Holiday Inn Parking for years. They seem to be under new management and are much more tightly structured and efficient. The front desk used to seem clueless when you checked in. This time, Rowella (?) was Very well informed & pleasant. The driver, Tracy, I had going out and pick up. She was also fantastic and pick up timing seems to be MUCH less haphazard. Wait times could be so long, before, that we would need to call repeatedly to see if someone was actually coming. Still, we stayed with Holiday Inn because of the safety and proximity. This time, Tracy was there in less than 15 minutes and checked that she had the correct number of riders who had requested the pick up. Why I didn’t give five stars was for receiving (auto generated?) text notification SIX and a Half HOURS before the end of our long held previously scheduled and PREPAID reservation that our parking session had ENDED!! Despite that we are such a long time customers, I was NOT PLEASED AND DID NOT APPRECIATE this upset, returning from vacation. As I say, what appears to me new management needs to fix that and fast. I had no idea if the car would be towed or WHAT I might find. 6 1/2 hours too soon is UNACCEPTABLE.

This was our first time using the hotel lot for our airport parking. It was quite convenient and the shuttles were available about every 15 minutes. Also much cheaper rates overall! Will definitely use again. We parked at the Holiday Inn in Columbia Blvd.

Scheduling was easy. Used before with no problem. However, Thanksgiving night when I arrived and parked at the facility the individual checking me in said I would have to leave and go park at the airport. They were not rude but not apologetic at all.
Upon arriving at PDX, I had to wait 1/2 hour after calling for shuttle to pick me up. Upon arriving at Holiday Inn, I was dropped off at their front door, while my car was parked in the furthest parking spot from there. (because that was the only spot "behind the building" that was available on the day I arrived.) I am 76, and healthy, however, I was hauling a bag, and roller suitcase, in 40 degree temperatures through mud puddles to get to my car ~ at least a 3 block walk! I won't be using their services in the future.

Have used this parking a few times now. Will continue to do so. Easy system. Feels safe as it can feel leaving your car anywhere these days. But definitely recommend.
Going to PDX, there was a free shuttle from the hotel. Returning to the hotel was supposed to be to have a free shuttle but when I called the hotel, the rep answered and said there was no shuttle. He offered to give me another hotel shuttle number which did not fo any good. I had to call Uber to drop me off at the hotel parking. Cost me $18 plus 20%tip. I did not understand what happened to the free shuttle.
Easy and painless experience. The staff was friendly and the free shuttle to and from the airport was a plus!
Customer service is on point. The pricing is good and extremely convenient. Getting picked up and dropped off is easy and efficient. I will continue to use the service and recommend it to anyone new trying to park elsewhere away from the airport.
The website says the parking lot is gated, but it was not. When it came time to be picked up, I called the number provided. The man said the shuttle would be en route. 20 minutes goes by and the shuttle comes. However, she didn’t have my name and the shuttle was now full with names she had been provided. Check-in was smooth.
One issue. Used service one time but billed twice.
I did everything online and it was a breeze. Very friendly and helpful staff. Tracy was the best!! Will definitely leave my car there again.
