The hotel was clean and staff were amazing. Convenient to airport and had a shuttle service. I did not like the nightly parking charge of $10.00. But what really was bad was that he had free breakfast with our hotel booking and there was no free breakfast….just $30.50 extra charge (muffins and sandwiches) for food. We were never given the breakfast vouchers. The maid did not clean our room daily as requested. Maybe they cleaned once or twice after I complained as we needed new towels.

Older hotel, very nice staff, very nice pool. Restaurant is only open for breakfast. No food options close, and the pantry is expensive and limited.

Please dont stay here.

Front desk is extremely rude.

Their room keys never work. I had to activate mine 3 times.

They charge for parking too.better to stay in downtown.

2 star hotels are better than this hotel.

Save yourself so much pain

Came here for a convention in the convention center. Large, open building with a tall roof. Amenities include restrooms and an ATM, which was nice to have. No issues to speak of.

Not bad. Except for somewhat of a dirty carpet, place was clean as expected. Close to airport and other things. Comfortable beds and sufficient room.

My husband and I with our baby and dog ended up stuck in Portland for an unexpected reason. Ended up needing to extend our stay. The staff was extremely helpful and even allowed us to move to a bigger room for no extra charge! Highly recommend! Thank you!

Do not stay here. It is right by a slum and homeless camp. No service or food in hotel. However, the shuttle driver was awesome. We moved to Hampton

Not sure if this is a Portland thing but the hotel charged for parking which seemed weird since we were already paying to stay there and it's not the norm anywhere else we've stayed. They also didn't have much of a breakfast, we were expecting a free continental breakfast but might've misread, but there was a restaurant with limited options that were just alright for really expensive prices. They had a coffee bar up front which the machine was broken so no coffee. One of the employees was also very stoned. We had some issues with our keycard not letting us in and had to get a new one and one of the elevators was out, neither of these are a big deal but after the other issues we already had it was getting really disappointing. Not the worst hotel we've stayed in but definitely a let down from what we were anticipating, especially with the price of the stay.

It is 10:30pm on Sunday July 31st

I’ve called multiple times to try and book a room. I actually had a whole family looking to book multiple different rooms this next weekend. It’s sad that they hired staff who will not answer the phone. Someone even answered the phone and hung up. We called from a different phone and still no answer. We can’t even book a room. They just lost hundreds of dollars due to the staff not answering the phone. For over 2 hours.

Evan at the front desk was very helpful and kind. Yvette was extremely rude. Skip the breakfast, $30 for two small burritos, the size of my fist, missing half of the ingredients. Shuttle only runs at the top of the hour.

We spent one night here. We were SO happy that they have self serve laundry and dryer available to guests $2 for washing, $2 for 1 hour of dryer. The facility is a bit dated and the room smelt musty but the shower was hot, and bed was so soft we fell asleep instantly.

Terrible customer service. We brought our grandkids with us for a hotel and swim stay. We called ahead 4 days in advance to ask if there were pool restrictions and were told no. When we got there we were THEN told that we needed to reserve time in the pool and it was booked until 5:00pm the next day. When we told the front desk clerk this she shrugged and could have cared less. We left, but was refunded. However it was a busy weekend and we couldn't find another available hotel, we ended up driving all the way home with 2 exhausted and disappointed small kids. We travel a lot and we will NEVER book with Holiday Inn again.

Very lovely staff, comfy beds, and the a/c worked great in my room. That being said, I found a bra on my room floor so I dont think housekeeping was very thorough with my room. For the price, I found the amenities lacking- only a keurig with cheap coffee w/ artificial creamer and sweetner, no complimentary coffee or breakfast, and small rooms

Nice clean hotel, good beds and a friendly staff. Our reason not 5 stars is no one told me about the fright train that went right passed my window every night at 2am.

The Guest Services Manager is a rock star..total stand out.

Me and my family had a blast. We went so that the kids could swim. Super COVID-friendly. We stayed in the Junior suite. The kids had a seperate area with a sofa bed. The pool was open by reservation and could be reserved for 1 hour at a time. No one signed up after us and we was allowed to stay for another hour. We had the pool area to ourselves. It was warm and very clean. We had to much fun we extended the stay for another day. The staff was very nice and accommodated for every request. I had 4 kids so extra towels blankets ect . will definitely be returning .

Visited my best friend here 2 times now.

They have a gate you have to go thru just to get in.

So its hard for you n your company to get robbed.

Checked into the hotel after flying all day from Cincinnati. I arrived at the hotel around 11:45pm and went straight to my room. When I opened the door all I could do was smell cigarette smoke. I then looked inside and thought they gave me a room that was already occupied. No, it just wasn't cleaned.... it was destroyed! Food, pop bottles, trash, little debbie boxes piled up, clothes on the floor... it was awful. I have pictures of what I walked into. After getting a new room I went in and washed my face. It took over an hour for the water to drain from the sink. I was happy to check out. The rate is too expensive to go through all of that.

Very clean, very nice, all nonsmoking, downfall is paid parking for additional vehicles it's $10 which sucks because your already paying enough for the room. Bed is comfortable and the pillows are all different firmness which was also nice.

We booked our room through booking.com and were told it was a jacuzzi tub room. However it was not. We paid for what we were told would have a jacuzzi tub. Very disappointed!

A noisy location, but that's the only downside to this holiday Inn, I had no complaints after my stay. Literally only a couple minutes from the airport and main terminals, and right across the river from Washington. The main floor and lobby look to have been recently renovated and the room also appeared to have been updated. Great service, clean room and a great rate. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Portland.

They claim that he was new hotel standard to not have any queen size beds when we were able to go to a different hotel and get three queen size beds in the same room

Fantastic staff. They were so accommodating when we were evacuated with our pets. A lot of wildfire evacuees were staying there and the staff was great. Rooms average, but beds comfy jus t a double instead of queens in rooms.

Overall experience was positive. There was an early morning train close in vicinity which may be disruptive to some. Staff was welcoming and professional. No complaints

This is an older Holiday Inn but we are currently evacuated due to a forest fire. There are many evacuees here. This hotel has been incredibly kind and helpful to the many evacuees and their family pets. Thank you Holiday Inn.
