Good area, nice rooms. Solid hotel.

On the more austere side, but comfortable and well maintained. Was within my expectations for the price point.

Stayed here for business. The front desk and all other staff are exceptional. The rooms are super clean and the breakfast was always good.

My room was clean and a good size for one person. Breakfast was your typical food, eggs, meat, cereals, breads, coffee, tea, juice, etc. The one thing I didn't like was, sitting at breakfast one morning and a woman was having a conversation ON SPEAKER PHONE, in the common area. Yes, I know, it's a common area, but other people really don't want to hear your conversation. I was a bit surprised that hotel staff didn't say something to her. There was also a bus load of teens in town for something, but they were polite and didn't make too much noise.



Staff was very friendly, the one day I came back from a hike and the desk person engaged in conversation and asked how my day was. Clean lobby, grounds outside were well kept and lots of lighting in the parking lot. This was perfectly situated to the things I was doing (mostly hiking), and the Udvar-Hazy center is only 15 minutes away.



One nice touch... bedside reading lights!! Well done Marriott. ♥️

Beautiful room. Easy to get to. Visited a friend there. 100% nicer than the Reston Sheraton where we are.

Great staff, clean older hotel but kept up well. Breakfast buffet was great oatmeal, eggs, sausage patties and fresh coffee just some of the offerings. Rooms were night bright we were able to relax after a long day despite the fact there were 4 buses of kids staying there, we never heard a peep! Highly recommend

Overall this hotel is pretty straight forward. Not great but not horrible. Kind of comfortable but not super comfortable. Cleanliness of my room is acceptable but not spotless.



Pros: 1) Breakfast is decent enough to be included in the room rate. 2) Ample room lighting and reader lights coming off the bed lamps. 3) Lobby and dining area very well kept and the front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. 4) Location is great and has easy access to wherever you’re commuting. 5) Very quiet and safe feeling. 6) Big flat screen TV that’s very responsive. 7) Fast wifi. 8) Towels/linens are all fresh, clean and without stain. 9)



Cons: 1) The TV layout is odd and one reason for a star deduction. The wall mounts they’re using do not allow a good angle to watch TV in bed and doesn’t allow a good angle to watch TV on the sofa. It’s kind of just weirdly placed in the middle of the bed and sofa and mounted to high. While it does swivel, it’s not the kind that you can pull out decently from the wall and then swivel like other Marriott branded hotels. TV in a hotel room is important to me and this TV is kinda useless. 2) Tons of wasted space within the room and has much more of a closed off design vs other SpringHill Suites I’ve stayed. 3) The desk is weirdly placed and makes you feel claustrophobic, put a mirror or something above there so I can at least look at my ugly face. 3) The bathroom is also very oddly laid out and the water pressure is lacking. 4) Luxury/Premium bedding? Where? This bedding is no different than all the other select Marriott brands and they’re using a queen duvet/comforter on a king bed, makes a lot of sense. 5) The bracket for an in room thermostat is installed but there’s no thermostat. Changing the temp via unit is so 2022. 6) The Bonvoy app states they provide housekeeping daily, the elevator states they provide housekeeping upon request and the front desk said they provide housekeeping every other day. Just shake your magic 8 ball for the correct answer. 7) Two elevators onsite and one is broken, seems to be a running theme with these lower level Marriotts.

Not only did they let me check-in two hours early, but they accommodated me significantly after my checking out extremely early. They let me use their within-3-miles shuttle 3 times despite having turned in my keys. They also allowed me to have breakfast. All of this with a "no-problem" mentality. The room was spacious and clean as well!

Wonderful staff who are ready to help, and willing to go the extra mile. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Lots of room for our family of four to spread out. The TV was big and new, and although not a ton of regular channels, the internet TV options made up for lack of options. Highly recommend.

Clean and tidy rooms, great location, and a nice selection of breakfast items. Moreover, that staff was professional, friendly, and super helpful, and I greatly appreciated the complimentary rides from the airport upon arrival, and over to the nearest metro station after I checked out. Thank you.

After a night at Fairfield Inn , we decided to give Springhill Suites a try and YES we loved it as soon as we walked into the lobby. The hotel had such a wonderful smell. This location has an Enterprise Rental Car inside of the hotel. The front desk staff was pleasant. Our room was so large, clean, roomy. There was enough room for our family. The bathroom was large and spacious. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. The beds OMG, they were so comfy if you like firm. The breakfast was ok but, that's not a deal breaker. We can eat somewhere else. This hotel has adequate parking. Hotel is also close to the highway and food. Springhill Suites is definitely our new place to stay.

Good breakfast. Nice staff. Very clean and nice rooms. The elevator is dirt slow but it's only 4 floors, most guests can just take the stairs.

Nicely run hotel. Front desk staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast has a large variety of options that should make everyone happy. Rooms are large and comfortable.

Convenient location to IAD with complimentary shuttle service. Shuttle will also transport within 3-mi radius. Target and restaurants are nearby. Several breakfast options at hotel buffet and employees are friendly and helpful. Will highly recommend this hotel.

In the area overnight and stayed here. The staff was excellent, warm, and welcoming. The dinning area was spacious and clean. Parking was bad either. The bed was awesome. Overall I enjoyed staying here. There are restaurants not far from the hotel both across the street and down the street. It was nice and quiet. The breakfast wasn't what I expected.

My friends and I booked this hotel for the weekend. It seems like the first and second half of the building are completely different hotels. One of our group’s rooms (second floor) was outdated, my group’s room (fourth floor) was noticeably different in quality. A far more modern feel. This hotel is ongoing renovation so this won’t be the case for much longer. The elevators here are terrifying. The doors make a screeching sound when they open/close and the elevator stalls for at least ten seconds after landing before the doors open again. Excellent staff.

We booked SpringHill Suites by Marriott Herndon Reston for its proximity to Herndon Metro station, which provides easy access to Washington, D.C. The hotel is a bit dated, but it is well-maintained and clean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were always happy to make recommendations for places to visit or eat.

It was a good place to stay while we were in town for a wedding. I thought the rooms were a fair price.

This is my 2nd time at this location. Always super clean. The staff members were so friendly and awesome. Highly recommend if in the Reston area.

Pretty good hotel. Rooms were small for a Springhill, but everything was still there and very clean. Breakfast definitely lacking in options, but it's free so I can't complain too much. I would stay here again.

A modernized furniture made all the difference at this hotel. Compact, yet practical, filled with amenities like microwave, fridge, sink, big work desktop. Layout is somewhat unusual, but tolerable. Tv can be watched fully only from the sitting area, not at all from the desktop area, and at a drastic angle from bed. Still, shuttle to the metro and IAD, nearby at a driving distance shopping center and plenty of restaurants, make it a solid choice. The staff is very pleasant and eager to help. Free breakfast is passable, though pretty standard. Recommended!

This was my third visit. The hotel is clean and quiet, staff are efficient and professional. The location is close to the the airport and the metro; the shuttle drivers are excellent (kind and punctual).

On my recent visit a huge morning traffic backup (gridlock) occurred due to icy road conditions, traffic was rerouted, and our driver Ali, aware that he would be late for other scheduled appointments made the necessary phone call(s) to relay the information, thus allow the staff to find alternative, and problem solve. I was impressed by this driver’s conscientious and professionalism.

Very clean and quiet. Desk staff seemed genuinely friendly and were very helpful. I chose this hotel based on the Marriott reputation, and I wasn't disappointed. I didn't get to enjoy the breakfast, but it smelled delicious.

This location is awesome! The staff were very welcoming and the rooms were exactly what you see in the web page. Great and clean, good space. The breakfast was good, the buffet starts at 6am and end at 10am which gives everyone time to eat without rushing. Great options for kids and good selections. There are plenty of places to visit nearby. Plenty of parking spaces free. We will definitely book here again.

Recently renovated like new. Fake look like hardwood floors Love it because the carpet gets nasty with people checking in out. Ask for no carpet.

Sadly I wasn’t able to stay here as my conference got canceled due to the virus, but I’m giving five stars for the great customer support they had. I called to cancel my reservation, as I’m sure plenty of other people have done. It isn’t easy for the people working at the hotel and I wouldn’t have been surprised if they were slightly annoyed. The man on the phone was pleasant, understanding, and let me cancel without a fee. In a time where people are incredibly stressed, I really appreciated the quality customer service. When I return to Reston for a visit to D.C. that I was going to do while there, I will definitely be staying at the Springhill Suites. Thank you to the all of the staff!

We were greeted warmly by Allison at the front desk. She was prepared to assign a room with our pre-loaded requests. A very nice start. She was delightful in her welcome.

The hotel must have been at capacity - the parking lot and breakfast area were full.

Yes, I know breakfast is 'free', but lacking for high volume. There are not enough tables and chairs to start. And how can there only be one urn of non-decaf coffee? It was always empty, even at 7:00 a.m.! They definitely need two urns with frequent fillings. The eggs went quickly and took a long time to replenish. On the bright side, the pot of oatmeal and many toppings were appreciated, rather than offering the envelopes of 'instant'.

Love that Marriott has adopted the large body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in the shower rather than the small bottles - what an environmental save! The walk-in shower is funny - you can't reach the faucet control easily from the door that opens, so you are either frozen while the water heats up or scalded while trying to adjust it. It is a design flaw that Marriott missed big time.

However, we will continue our brand-preference with Marriott, and it was an enjoyable stay.

Centrally located, made it nice for our large group! The rooms were clean and felt updated. Unfortunately the "age" of the hotel made our 2nd floor room susceptible to loud creeks and noises when the floor above us ran a marathon at 6AM.... Had we been there for more than two nights, we would have selected a top floor to avoid this.

Main default is the location, you’ll need a car to move but traffic regulation is not optimal…

Well appointed modern rooms with ample USB ports for charging. My only complaint was while they had hot coffee in the lobby, they ran out of cream and sugar early in the morning and hadn't been restocked by the end of the day.

I can't say enough about the amazing staff..from the front desk to the housekeeping..to everyone in between...we got stuck in DC for 3 days due to travel/canceled flights..we made the most of it..we ended up staying here way longer than planned but the staff was so easy to work with..the room was extremely clean, has a mini fridge, a microwave, big TV, comfy beds, clean linens, & a coffee maker. In the lobby area there are cold drinks, wine, ice cream and some other small snacks. There is a Dunkin Donuts across the street and a Target within walking distance (.3 miles)..I don't plan on coming back to the area anytime soon..but if I get stuck here again..I'd definitely stay here! Thank you again for being so accommodating!

Quite but still close to Dulles and Downtown Reston. Nice comfortable suites with all you need for a couple of nights very nice bathrooms and good service. Coffee-Service all-day at the lobby, Ice-Mashines, Mini-Market at the lobby, Breakfastservice with all basics (eggs, sausage, cereals, fruits, bagels).

Nice hotel, small, but clean. Very perfumie in the halls, more so than I like but at least it didn't smell bad. Good location for walking less than 1/4 mile to food, grocery store, pharmacies and more. Breakfasts are pretty tasty too!

I had to spend many many months here waiting on my home to be completed, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and made my stay very enjoyable. I definitely recommend this hotel… thankfully my home was finally finished 2 months late.

I stayed here a couple of times recently and had a wonderful stay! Front desk clerk, Muhammad, was extremely pleasant and helpful whenever I had a question or needed assistance. Breakfast was wonderful and I enjoyed the variety of options. Staff was attentive to every detail from the moment I walked in. This included the front desk, breakfast buffet attendant, and housekeeping. I will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

I stayed in one of the newly renovated hardwood floor rooms, simply great for the low price... Will defiantly stay again when back in Va.

I started staying at the hotel on and off a few months ago for work, and all the staff have been polite and easy to work with. Wonderful place, and I'd definitely recommend it!

Where do I even start? After going through a terrible experience with a nearby Marriott (Fairfield Inn Herron Reston) I ended up at this location by booking it last minute. The person on the other end of the phone was ALISIA !! The purpose of my travel was very sensitive and of course she didn’t know that but her service, her attitude, her spirit and her kindness changed my entire day that left both of us hugging in tears! I’m so glad that I stayed here. This woman deserves an excellent performance evaluation. I hope she receives the recognition that she truly is so deserving of. I hope to receive a survey from Marriott to let them know about their employee Alisia.

This is my second stay in the last 30 days. The hotel was recently remodeled in a very tasteful and understated way. The rooms are spacious and attractive with free internet, plentiful USB ports and great lighting. The staff is very courteous and the rate is extremely reasonable. I visit this area often, and I will not stay anywhere else.

We stayed in the 2 bed suites. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff was super nice. Breakfast was okay, but it was real food.

This was one of the best stays I have had in some time. The room was immaculate! Everything was clean and worked. The ladies taking care of breakfast were so nice and helpful. I would highly recommend! Call them to book or book on their site! Well worth the money I spent.

We stayed here with around 80 kids for a 8th grade DC field trip. The hotel was clean. Staff was great and breakfast every morning was nice to have! They allowed the kids the use of the conference room to hang out in the evening. Great stay.

We recently stayed at Springhill Suites for a family vacation, and this place truly exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very clean and spacious, with the layout making it feel more like a home than a typical hotel room. One feature we particularly appreciated was the divider between the lounge area and the bed. This clever design allowed our little one to sleep peacefully while we enjoyed some time to ourselves in the lounge. The front desk staff Ali and the manager Mr. Yusuf also helped make our stay all the more pleasant. They were incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with any requests we had. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to our stay that we greatly appreciated. Overall, our stay at Springhill Suites was wonderful, providing comfort and convenience that went beyond what you typically get at a 3-star establishment. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and family-friendly stay.

Not bad. Currently still their. I slept well both nights, so far. No coffee table in front of couch, and all wood flooring. Not a lot of closet space in the room. Nice shower.

Mid April 2022 impact only - they are doing roof maintenance. The noise starts around 9am. There is parking restrictions around the building. No impact to ranking as it is a temporary inconvenience. The room lacks a decent closet to hold long dresses. Otherwise clean and spacious.

I've had two week-long stays here in the last 2 years. The rooms are clean and neat. The staff are always helpful and pleasant.



During my first stay last year, I was waking up very early and the overnight crew member needed a point to make me fresh coffee.



During this stay, there was an odd smell in the first room they gave me, and they immediately hooked me up with a new room without hesitation.

There's nothing that could've been done to make this stay any better. From cleanliness to friendliness everything was perfect.
