Clean hotel and in the perfect location, 10-12 minutes from Dulles. The shuttle runs frequently and even on return the wait was minimal. Staff was great, beds were comfortable and they had a very nice breakfast selection or if you prefer, Cracker Barrel is right next door. Would stay again.

I was so pleased with the friendly helpful service from Sam at the front desk, after my flight was delayed and rerouted. I was accommodated right away and felt taken care of, even though i had no reservation. Thanks Sam !

My room was clean and quiet and comfortable. Shuttle service to and from the airport was a welcome bonus.

Also i was able to follow up a week later with the assistant general manager Jessica after mentioning an issue with my credit card, which was handled promptly and professionally.

Excellent service here!

Happy to have stayed here even though it was unexpected. 👍

We had a nice stay at the Fairfield Inn! We came with a group of 30 for an 8th grade Washington DC trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful, just the regular hotel breakfast foods.

The staff was friendly and helpful too.

It is close enough to a gas station that groups of our kids would walk over and get some treats/snacks, so that was nice.

It is about a 40 minute drive to DC though, which we didn’t know, and we didn’t make the reservation - a travel agent did, but we still had fun.

Nice property. Rooms are reasonably up to date. Staff is very friendly & helpful. We arrived earlier than the usual check-in time and they made an extra effort to get a room ready for us, which we very much appreciated. The free breakfast was also good. overall a good value. I would stay there again.

Friendly staff got me checked in efficiently on a Monday evening, explained where the Fitness Center was and the hours and location for the complementary breakfast.

Room (126, King bed) was well-appointed and comfortable.

Breakfast featured coffee, tea, cocoa, juice, milk, carbohydrates (bagels, English muffins, bread, muffins), fruit, cereal, yogurt, and hot protein (eggs, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, bacon, sausage), and make your own waffles. Quality of food was good; the hot items were hot, the cold items were cold, the toaster worked. Self-service for everything; the only suggestion for improvement would be better signage on what was available in the warming dishes - I could have had a breakfast sandwich instead of making my own from components.

The hotel is undergoing renovations. A section of the ground floor was being redone as evidenced by the protective plastic on the floor in a section off of the lobby area. The Fitness Center was likewise being renovated - one wall was stripped bare and the molding on a couple of walls was out of place.

Overall a pleasant stay in a hotel close to Dulles international airport and the tech mecca of Northern Virginia.

I used the Fly and Park portion of this hotel. It was extremely easy to set up in person. I did call about 3:30 AM to set up a 5:30 AM shuttle reservation to Dulles airport. Professional staff and drive. The price for 7 days was $63 and I tipped the driver $5. This was super convenient especially on a last minute notice. I placed a tag on my visor and parked my car in a designated parking lot and left to the airport. I highly recommend this place if you need a place to park and fly close to Dulles Airport. I will update you next week on July 19 when I pick up my car

****UPDATE*****

I arrived at Dulles Airport around 2:30 pm and called the Fairfield for a pickup at the airport. I was told to go to the lower level to waiting area 2G. I waited about 30 minutes for my pickup and drop off at my vehicle. The driver was courteous and unloaded my bags next to my vehicle. This was a great experience. Next time I have an early flight I will spend the night and take the shuttle. This was a positive experience for me.

Fantastic hotel, well run, solid breakfast, airport shuttle twice per hour, nice rooms, accommodated late check out.

I couldn't be happier overall. Met all my needs and the family was all happy with the room and the lounge area.

Recently remodeled property with modern styling, comfortable beds, good TV channel selections, expanded breakfast with (on the dates of my stay) scrambled eggs and omelets (a bit salty,) mini waffle maker, pork and turkey sausage, expanded oatmeal bar and all the other usual breakfasty suspects. Area is quiet and peaceful, but is directly along the usual arriving runway for mornings after 8AM @ IAD. Again, planes landing and not taking off, so not terribly loud, mostly a "whoosh" as they pass. This is a great hotel for amateur planespotters, ask for an even-numbered room to see the planes fly over the parking lot, less than half a mile to the end of the runway. Nights are VERY quiet, as other runways are used for evening traffic. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place. Breakfast was amazing!! We took a shuttle to the airport at 9am and the driver was so kind and wonderful. His presence was very safe and made the drive so relaxing. This man deserves a raise!! Highly recommend!

Our stay at the Fairfield by Marriott in Dulles was commendable, especially for its cleanliness and the satisfying breakfast options. These aspects truly stood out and made my experience pleasant. However, there was a notable area that could use some attention - the reception service. As a hotel’s guest, we anticipated a warm welcome; instead, the receptionist's demeanor was less than friendly, giving the impression that providing service was a burden. Given being a gold member of Marriott, the accommodation requests were met with negative responses, which could be improved upon. The bathrooms could also benefit from better lighting to enhance the overall guest experience. Despite these points, I still recommend this hotel for its significant merits.

We stayed here for a last minute weekend trip. The staff were very friendly and even allowed us to check in an hour or two early, which is definitely not to be expected, but was appreciated. I enjoyed that it was within short driving distance to restaurants and attractions. I definitely recommend making a trip to River Sea Chocolates nearby! The bed was so comfortable I fell asleep almost immediately. You could hear several planes taking off nearby , depending on how you feel that could be good or bad, I found it to be extremely relaxing, it wasn’t loud. They have a nice breakfast included and a gym if you’re into it!

My cons:

The shower did not have any type of shelf anywhere for me to place a bar of soap I brought so that was kind of awkward to figure out. They do have pump bottles of hair and body wash though. The breakfast did not have bacon which we were really hoping on, lol. The air conditioner in the room worked great but I noticed a lot of lint and fuzz inbetween the fans, not great for air quality but my AC at home probably looks the same so I can’t judge. The rooms do not have a microwave. Lastly, upon check-in we were not offered a mirror tag for parking, we didn’t know we needed one until we stumbled upon a sign outside about untagged cars being towed overnight so that prompted us to ask for one. Hey, mistakes happen that just would’ve been a very expensive mistake for us.

Overall it was a great choice at an affordable price and I would stay here again!

Comfy bed, strong ac in August, and easy shuttle to the airport. The free all day coffee was also a nice touch. I’ll definitely stay here again as long as the price remains fair.

Rooms are updated and nicer than previous. Lobby elevator is sketchy and the other one is out of order. Breakfast is good and the staff has been awesome.

Vanilla hotel, but service was good. Buffet breakfast a little underwhelming, and judging by how cramped it was both mornings, it seems to not have sufficient capacity. But the staff worked hard to keep it stocked and clean.

We wanted to stay close to the airport because we had an early flight. We have stayed in several Fairfield hotels in the past because they seem to be a top notch hotel. This hotel was no different. The staff was friendly. It was convenient to leave our car there and take the shuttle to the airport. The charge for that is comparable. The room was clean. Breakfast has something for everyone. The only problem we had was when we returned, we had to wait about 40 minutes for the shuttle.

I have stayed at several Fairfield Inn locations and they always offer just what I need as a business traveler. Great customer service, clean cozy rooms, really good breakfasts, and all the amenities I need for a successful trip. The only exception in this case was the lack of microwave in the room. I suppose I should have noticed when booking but I didn't know Fairfield even had rooms without one. Not a huge deal and I still enjoyed my stay but if you need a nuker during your stay make sure you read the fine print. The location couldn't be any better, close to Dulles and my work location. I'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work Fairfield! 🙏

When I arrived at 1am, Mohammed at the front desk was a sweetheart! He gave me a warm welcome and was genuinely caring. He truly went above and beyond to make me feel valued. I was specifically looking for hotels near the airport that have airport shuttles. I've made the mistake in the past of getting the wrong hotel. This hotel was great! Especially for a short airport stay. The rooms were fairly basic but comfortable. There was a nice hotel breakfast in the morning. I will definitely look to stay here again!

My flight was cancelled and this was a more affordable choice that was close to the airport. You also get a good breakfast and free shuttle to the airport so you save some of those costs there. They even were able to give me toothpaste, toothbrush, and deodorant free of cost! They also gave me late checkout since my rescheduled flight was late the next day. Thankful I found this place last minute.

After arriving late into IAD we needed a hotel. I booked the one claiming a free shuttle not knowing that it stopped at midnight. That sucked. But used it the next morning to go get our rental. The rooms are nice. Barely remember because I was tired. Breakfast was okay. American hotels are in need of better breakfasts.

Nice hotel that is near the airport and has a free airport shuttle that can be booked ahead of time to support your flight details. The hotel is pretty large. There are lots if people always staying there. Yet there is only one elevator? It’s the only real negative for me in the whole experience. They have a good breakfast in the morning that is included. Also there is a Cracker Barrel restaurant within walking distance.

Great hotel near the airport. They have free shuttle service that starts very early. Breakfast was also very good. Customer service was amazing. Don't think twice before you take this hotel.

Stayed for two nights for a wedding. I am a Marriott platinum member so use to the standards for each brand. This location is normal for a Fairfield and a great price. I would recommend if you need a low cost hotel. I trust Marriott over other brands.

Throughout my countless stays at this exact Marriott property during the last 18 years, it's location from Dulles airport (one mile), it's courtesy hotel shuttle, and also during the era I have used this Inn in which they successfully had a massive upgrade in facilities, I've never had a bad, average nor indifferent stay.

The staff from the front desk and shift management, to housekeeping and the event staff over the years are well drilled, professional and incredibly humanitarian. If there is a hint of an issue, they will rectify it within moments satisfactorily -where both parties benefit- and are put at ease.

Besides the ease of location in relation to IAD, I've also used their location when attending concerts and after late nights in my nearby office. You cannot beat the economical price-per-night given everything involved in one's stay considering it's strategic northern Virginia location.

Overall the hotel is excellent. The star of the show is their staff. Superb professional and friendly. Rooms are comfortable with great AC and a magnificent location convenient to Dulles airport. They have long-term parking and a shuttle.

The rooms are ample, and the beds are comfortable. They do have to keep the sharpest eye on those tiny ants they get here and there.

But I will stay here again and again. Everything was close to excellent!

My go-to Dulles hotel, especially now that it’s being renovated. We had a beautiful and immaculate room with brand new carpeting. Small touches like entering to hear classical music on the radio were noted and much appreciated. Excellent coffee and breakfast buffet, friendly and efficient service, too. Thank you!!

Staying at the Fairfield Inn was an absolute breeze and perfectly what we needed for a quick and simple stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but ample. The location is excellent and the shuttle is quick. The driver was really helpful and professional. The highlight of our stay was the front desk staff. Waleed, at front desk, deserves a raise! Highly professional and incredibly helpful throughout, with a big smile on his face. He also had great suggestions and I believe he truly embodies professionalism in the hospitality industry. For one example, we were initially given a room that had a foul smell, and he without question upgraded us to a suite and ensured multiple times that we had a good stay.
