Good room. Full breakfast. Easy ride to airport. All and all no problems!
I mean except for having to put the room key in the wall to turn on the A/C. Which was not explained to us until I called the front desk. It was okay. Not a 4 star like it was rated but not terrible.
Was a good inexpensive choice to stay before heading out on an early flight out of SAC. Bed was comfortable and the place was quiet. The parking lot and surrounding areas had questionable characters that didn't seem to be patrons of the hotel, but I felt comfortable that you needed a key card to get into the building (although someone had put a rock to hold it open, which I quickly removed). The parking lot had bright lighting.
What a great little hotel next to the airport that offers park and ride. They have a shuttle that will take you to the airport with a quick 5 minutes. Great staff friendly environment. Definitely would stay again.
Beautiful, room, with very chic and contemporary furnishings and the "most comfortable" bed!!! Very, very clean, small refrigerator inside, which was very useful.
The front desk staff was so accommodating, wonderful personalities and allowed me to access the computer in the business corner in the main lobby. Also, easy access to popular eateries, which were less than a mile away. A very comfortable experience.
I will certainly visit this location again, for another meeting happening soon. A definite "4 star rating"!!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐
I feel like they are really taking advantage of guest with a huge lack in hospitality due to covid. I think it should be noticeable on the website that continental breakfast is cancelled and that rooms are not checked by house keeping. You have to ask for towels and trash to be taken. No one will offer. I think with these covid restrictions that maybe the room price should reflect a discounted price since corporate obviously is paying much less in employees. The staff is very kind and helpful when you ask. Rooms look clean. Even bathrooms have clean white grout with no signs of mold or mildew.
Friendly staff. They were very accommodating and went above and beyond.. The rooms aren't too big, but they are nice. The furnishings are updated. The pull out bed in the suite isn't very comfortable. They have a little store inside the hotel, but it is very expensive! It cost almost $20 for 4 sodas, and 2 snack size bags of chips. There is a Black Bear Diner and a Burger King right there, but not much else. They had their pool area open and you can reserve a time slot so you can enjoy the pool and hot tub alone.. It was overall a pretty good experience.
Allowed an early check-in with no problems. Rooms were clean. Pool area was clean. Covid restrictions were enforced with a smile. All staff I came in contact with were pleasant.
Truck parking in front and on street
Food across the street, black bear diner..next to freeway.
Well this place is clean and nice showers but they have bags they hand you for breakfast and ours had expired orange juice and a apple and a nutritious breakfast bar.
Not in the greatest of areas, but the beds were comfortable. Service was great and the rooms were clean.
WAY outdated compared to every other Fairfield Inn and Suites I have ever stayed at. This place looks nice on the outside but rooms are like a Motel 8. Maybe it was just my room but this place needs update remodel badly! Before Covid they were 200 plus a night and there was no way it was worth that. Staff a 50% were friendly 50% were obnoxious and rude.NOT worth the money when you can go down the road and get a modern to date hotel for same price.
The night time person behind the counter who checked us in was extremely helpful and courteous the room was as expected overall experience was absolutely a place where I would stay again . Service to the people is written all over this place .
Quite, clean. Covid ruined their breakfast bar. Nice, open lobby.
In room fridge and little, tiny, coffee maker ( single cup )
No in room microwave. A decent amount of power outlets for charging. Free WI-FI.
Staff have the most welcoming helpfull attitude so refreshing i emcourage all to check it out
Kool place... clean rooms but the front desk guy needs a little work on customer interactions.. all in all A+
There was something that looked a lot like vomit in the first room. The front desk was very skeptical when we wanted to change rooms, and wanted to come take pictures before we could move rooms and then the second room had a bunch of balled up toilet paper and loose change in it. We decided to deal with the second room because the front desk was pretty rude, and that didn’t seem as potentially dangerous as the vomit from the last room. Not great attention to detail for the year of covid. Avoid this place.
Inn was fine. And i realize we're in a pandemic but don't offer free breakfast then hand out a bag with OJ, an apple and a Nutra Grain bar. That's not breakfast. At least offer yogurt.
Very nice rooms. Close to airport. The front desk was very helpful, even accommodated a room change because of noise.
One of the only properties Marriott owns that I actually enjoy staying at 9 out of 10 times bed super comfortable rooms well-insulated for the noise from the hallway
Nice hotel for the price point. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. Territory behind the hotel is well maintained and pleasant to walk by.
This motel has been the best, all around, place to stay out of most in this area. Taking into consideration the staff, cleanliness, use and cleanliness of pool, comfortable beds, clean clean linens and towels, privacy and of course for the price. The cherry on top.... No deposit!!!
Staff are friendly, and helpful. The rooms are good size.
Nice accommodations. Rooms were a good size. Gym and pool was closed due to COVID. Airport shuttle was convenient.
Love it nice and sanitize and clean. Confie beds too.
I have tayed at this hotel many times and it's always been great. This time it left much to be desired. Nobody was friendly, nobody spoke to anyone other than when I checked out. The district manager helped me and was very friendly, joked around and asked how my stay was. He was by far the only one that was friendly.
Quiet, excellent location for Sacramento Airport. Helpful staff.
After booking a room across the river and just leaving that hotel- we were so happy to find the Fairfield inn. It's in a safe part a town where you could go to your car alone in a well lit parking lot. The staff were very welcoming and understanding. The rooms were clean and the hotel was quite so we were able to sleep great. I had to catch a flight at 6 am so I jumped on there shuttle at 3 I was there by 330am and the driver was great. I highly recommend this hotel if you have to stay in the Sacramento area.
Very nice hotel conveniently located close to the airport. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a wide variety of options including fruit and waffles. Service was helpful with recommendations around the area. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re in the area.
$179 and no microwave and mediocre service. Did not feel welcome at all. Definitely will bypass this place in the future. Only positive I can say is the room was clean.
Fairly nice rooms okay on price Nice breakfast buffet
Very nice place to stay. The rooms are clean, and the employees are very helpful. They have shuttles that conveniently drop off and pick up from the Sacramento airport. Definitely will stay here again
Check in was super quick, hotel and room nice and clean, front desk clerk friendly. Price was reasonable, and beds super comfortable.
Comfortable.reasomable. our go to hotel when flying in and out of SMF at odd hours.
Room and bathroom was clean. We stayed two nights and the turndown service was quick and great. A breakfast buffet was scalable each morning and the selection was fresh. T.V. had cable and local channels, but no PPV or recent movies. Well priced in the area for what they provide. The room felt a little small, imho. I would stay there again.
Clean pleasant place. Very accommodating. People were great
Security and safety is a huge concern. As a single female, I would NEVER stay here again and am surprised at the shockling good reviews. I pulled up to find adult men drinking in the parking lot. This hotel is next to a truck stop and clearly saw woman walking around looking for business. It is also located next to a Motel 8. The parking lot is poorly lit so you can imagine how terrified I was when I went to my car at 4 am in the pitch dark to find the car next to me with men in it talking to one another. In other reviews the manager claims they have staff patrolling the parking lot. Staff doesn't work you need paid security; the hotel is clearly putting staff at risk as I know they are not trained to handle these type of items. Regardless, the men should have been asked to leave. I didn't observe any security at this hotel nor is the lighting as great as the manager will claim in his response. The manager is clearly a male and doesn't understand. I also read the response from the manager about how Sacramento has its fair share of crime, but that's no excuse for not providing adequate safety. Also, it is common in reviews for housekeeping to not clean the bathtubs. There was hair clearly visible in my tub. You would think after multiple reviews over the past years about hair in the tub management would recitfy the issue, but again management clearly doesn't care. In the end, I would not recommend staying here just for pure safety concerns and then cleanliness reasons.
Clean comfortable room. Nice restaurant across the street... Black Bear Diner. Good breakfast at Fairfield and courteous shuttle driver
Good service. Clean room. They let us check in a little earlier than the official time, and we were very appreciative of that. Free breakfast every morning is prepared well. Coffee and other hot drinks available as a courtesy around the clock.
Cleanliness in the room could have been better, but on the whole I had no issues given I'm an outdoorsy dude. Also the airline paid for my room which made it easier to deal with the cleanliness.
Marriott is always clean, usually has a good pool and tge stay comes with a decent breakfast!!! Compared to most places i prefer the friendly staff n comfortable rooms when we're out of town!!! Its worth a couple more dollars when the family needs a nice clean place to rest and recuperate and our favorite Black bear Diner is across the street from this one!!! Chicken fried steak, Parmesan chicken cant be beat, healthy delicious portions We love it
