Just got into our room and if it wasn't so late I would leave. This room is beyond gross. There are burn holes in the bed, the chair is covered in stains and something else, there are benches with white stuff and stains all over it, the lamp has something spilt on it, and there is something spilt on the curtains. I wish I were able to post pictures. Do not bother staying here.
This place was amazing very clean and very nice customer service was excellent I couldn't ask for a better experience thank you
It's a good place to stay. The rooms have a good size. Everything is cleaning.
Gave them one star just because they have a working ice machine. Another local motel doesn't even have that. Come on its summer time. We want ice, cold drinks. Valley Oaks Inn totally needs to be remodeled. Everything inside the rooms are out of date
From the tub to the mini refrigerator and microwave, everything is old.
The city paid for my room because I am homeless. I am homeless because I am disabled on SSDI. Nice place, yet didn't see a housekeeper around all day to ask for things I need to keep my room clean from disease or virus.
Warm, friendly, knowledgeable staff, specially during my visit over the lockdown period of "the covid-19" situation. Not only that, this place is conveniently located on the northern edge of woodland and there's immediate access to the 5 freeway. Both north & south bound on ramps are just moments away. Literally moments. There's a nice pool, albeit on the smaller size (I've seen pools in condos larger than this one...), It has a man lift too accommodate, I don't know, hoisting an engine/transmission into and out of the pool. With remote controls (sure would make a nice hoist to work on cars/trucks) and it has a 1200 pound capacity! That's a big engine with a HUGE rear end. The rooms are quaint, dark brown floors, yellows (probably from years of smokers) and dark white ceilings and some rooms had those nice rings in them. The rings are kinda yellowish with brownish red edges. They must pay some heavy money for that artist to come in each room and do the decoration different each time. .... Lol's, is all good for a laugh and a hell-a-good time. The states paying for it anyway. Considering that, they're doing an excellent job.
Its was very clean but bed hurt my back
I’m giving this place 2 stars because the first time I stayed there the gentleman at the desk was super nice and very respectful. If it weren’t for him I would give this Inn 1 star.
The second time I TRIED to stay there the guy at the desk practically pushed me out of the door and locked it behind me.
The first stay I paid with cash and he didn’t require a deposit. It was a little strange but I just went with it. The second time, I asked for a smoking room (which wasn’t a problem the first time) and his whole demeanor changed. I was no longer allowed to use a cc for the deposit but I had to give him the deposit plus the price Of the room in cash or I couldn’t stay. I told him I didn’t have it all I’m cash and like you read before he practically pushed me out the door.
Moral of the story, I went to the Best western shadow Inn next door and the guy at the counter was super nice and had me in a room in 5 minutes. So if your thinking of staying here, save yourself the insults and rude behavior and just go to the best western. It’s the same price and much nicer!
Better amenities than a motel 6 for the same price. Room is like a studio apt.
Very clean, full size shower and tub, coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge freezer all in room.
Complementary breakfast included.
We visited here from Virginia in early November to visit our son and family who live out in the country nearby. We stayed five nights and were completely happy here. The owners were extremely accommodating; and the room was quiet, comfortable, spacious, and clean. We enjoyed good food and conversations with the other travelers in the breakfast room.
