Ball Arena sits on its own island of parking between Speer Boulevard, Auraria Parkway and the light rail line, and every lot is named after a Toyota. For Avalanche and Nuggets games the general public can buy only the 4Runner, Tundra and RAV4 lots, plus Elitch Gardens' own lot next door. Prices now move with demand on event night, so every figure on this page is a range.
Which Toyota lots the public can buy
For Avalanche and Nuggets games you can buy the 4Runner, Tundra or RAV4 lot, or Elitch's Lot, which Elitch Gardens runs. The Camry and Corolla lots are permit only, the Tacoma lot never opens to the public, and the TRD Pro valet is for permit and UMB Reserve holders.

Prices are the arena's drive-up ranges on October 5, 2026, paid by card unless noted. Distances are straight lines from the middle of each lot to the nearest wall of the arena, measured on our map.
How the arena prices its lots now
Ball Arena now sets lot prices in real time, and they can change on event night with demand, attendance and how full the lots are. The posted ranges are for paying when you arrive; the arena says online prices vary. Every lot takes cards, only the Tundra lot takes cash, and paying by card there takes $5 off.
- Paying ahead: Ticketmaster offers parking right after you buy event tickets, and the arena points to Ticketmaster's parking add-ons to lock in a rate. Passes are digital, so add yours to your phone's wallet before you leave.
- Playoffs and special events: the arena says prices for these can change in every lot.
- The Mammoth column: those rates are for the Colorado Mammoth, the National Lacrosse League team that plays at Ball Arena. When the Avalanche host the NHL's Utah Mammoth, it is an Avalanche game.
- Daily and monthly parking: the arena points to LAZ Parking.
How far each lot is from the doors
On our map, the middle of the RAV4 lot is about 190 feet from the arena and the middle of the Tundra lot about 390 feet. The 4Runner lots run from about 1,240 feet (North) to 1,860 feet (West), and the far corner of 4Runner West is about 2,240 feet out, a walk of at least 8 or 9 minutes.

How we measured: straight lines on OpenStreetMap geometry from the middle and the farthest corner of each lot to the nearest point of the arena building, at a 3 mph walking pace. Real paths bend around fences and traffic, so treat these as minimums. Recent reviewers disagree about the 4Runner walk: one found it closer than the map suggests, another said it felt like half a mile.
Which lots are quick to leave: 44 recent Google reviews
We read every written Google review posted since January 2024 for the 4Runner, Tundra and RAV4 lot listings, 44 in all. Four of the 14 4Runner reviews complained about getting out after the event and none praised it. Nine of the 30 Tundra and RAV4 reviews praised getting in and out, and none complained about it.
- 4Runner: an easy drive in and a slow, crowded exit is the recurring story. Those 14 reviews average 3.5 stars, and 5 of them say the price is too high or rising.
- Tundra: 21 reviews averaging 4.3 stars. Seven praise the quick exit, and price is the most common complaint, in 3.
- RAV4: 9 reviews averaging 4.9 stars; the most common praise is how close it is to the door.
- Google's overall ratings on October 5, 2026: RAV4 Lot 4.8 from 50 ratings, Tundra Lot 4.5 from 126, 4Runner Lot 4.0 from 97.
The arena says parking staff stay on duty for an hour after each event. One Tundra reviewer's tip: wait a little before you pull out, and getting out is easy. Method: the Google Maps reviews for the three listings, pulled October 5, 2026; we counted every review that described getting in or out. These are small samples, so read them as a pattern rather than a measurement.
Driving in: which street for which lot
From I-25 northbound, take exit 210B onto Auraria Parkway and turn left on 7th, 9th or 11th Street. From I-25 southbound, take exit 212B, turn left on Speer Boulevard and turn right onto Chopper Circle at the second light. From downtown, take Speer to Auraria Parkway, head west and turn right on 7th, 9th or 11th.
- Tundra: enter from Chopper Circle.
- RAV4: 11th Street, from Chopper Circle or Auraria Parkway.
- 4Runner: 7th Street, which runs from Auraria Parkway between the 4Runner and Camry lots. Google lists the 4Runner lots at 1540 and 1500 7th Street.
- Camry North's accessible spaces: from 12th Street and Chopper Circle, or 7th Street off Auraria Parkway.
Rideshare, taxis and accessible drop-off
Uber, Lyft, taxis and limos use only the Ball Arena Rideshare Lot, entered at 5th and Walnut Streets inside the 4Runner West lot. On our map that entrance is about 2,030 feet from the main entrance, a walk of 8 minutes or more.
The arena's own pages disagree about accessible pickup. The parking page says accessible pickup and drop-off also happen at the rideshare lot in 4Runner West; the public transportation page puts them at the roundabout on 9th Street, just south of the arena. Call Guest Relations at 303-405-8548 before the event and ask which applies.
When the Broncos are home, the same lot is the rideshare pickup point for Empower Field at Mile High, so on a day with both events it serves both crowds.
Light rail, bus and bike
The Ball Arena / Elitch Gardens light rail station, at 1700 9th Street, is about 360 feet from the arena's main entrance. A 3-hour RTD pass costs $2.75 and a day pass $5.50, and riders 19 and under ride free. The station has no RTD parking, so park at another station and ride in.
- Which trains: RTD's station page lists the C, E and W lines; the arena's transit page lists the D, E, H and W. Both include the E and W, so check RTD's trip planner for your date.
- Discount fares: $1.35 for 3 hours and $2.70 for a day for eligible riders. Active-duty U.S. military ride free.
- Paying: tap a contactless card or your phone's wallet on the validator when you board.
- Bus: an RTD stop sits next to the grounds at 9th Street and Auraria Parkway.
- Bike: racks outside the East Atrium, outside the Grand Atrium and in 4Runner Lot South.
Cheaper garages across Auraria Parkway, and Elitch's lot
The Auraria Campus garages across Auraria Parkway charge $25 from 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and all day Friday through Sunday, and $30 in the Tivoli Garage, less than any public arena lot for an Avs or Nuggets game. Auraria says those rates can change during designated special events, and its $8.50 daytime rate ends at 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
- 7th Street Garage: Lawrence Way and 7th Street, $25 nights and weekends, ParkMobile zone 3047.
- Tivoli Garage: 9th Street and Auraria Parkway, $30 nights and weekends, ParkMobile zone 3044.
- Paying: the garages are unattended, and you pay as soon as you park, at a pay station or in the ParkMobile app.
- Overnight: not allowed without Auraria's approval.
- Elitch's Lot: the arena lists it at $35 to $45 for games. Elitch Gardens' own page shows $30 a day Monday through Thursday and $35 Friday through Sunday during its operating season, says rates can change outside its operating hours, and takes only electronic payment.
Broncos game days at the same lots
The Broncos list Ball Arena and the Auraria Campus as off-site parking for fans without stadium permits. Those lots open to the public about 4 hours before kickoff, prices vary by lot, and if the arena has its own event that day, parking may not be available.

Tailgating rules in the Toyota lots
Tailgating is allowed but not encouraged. There are no designated areas, you may use only the spaces you paid for, and saving spaces is not allowed; the lots are monitored throughout events.
- Alcohol: no open drinking anywhere in the Toyota lots.
- Grills: no log fires or charcoal grills, and propane tanks must weigh less than 20 pounds.
The Tundra lot is the redevelopment site
Ball Arena still sold the Tundra lot when we checked on October 5, 2026, but it is the planned site of the first phase of Kroenke Sports & Entertainment's redevelopment: a hotel, a performance venue and two residential buildings with up to 300 homes.
Denverite placed that first phase on "parking lot A," nearly four acres west of Speer Boulevard, south and east of 11th Street and north of Auraria Parkway, and reported a construction schedule of May 2026 to May 2029. Construction Review Online identified the site as the 3.7-acre Tundra lot at 1000 Chopper Circle, and on our map Tundra is the only Toyota lot in that corner. Separately, KSE announced a $135 million renovation of the arena on September 18, 2026, centered on the East Atrium, where the valet circle drive is, to be done in phases in time for the 2028–29 seasons. The announcement doesn't say how parking will be affected during the work, so check the arena's parking page before each event.

The RAV4 Premier lot, which the arena calls its closest parking: on our map its middle is about 190 feet from the building. Only the TRD Pro valet lot is closer, and for Avalanche and Nuggets games it is for permit and UMB Reserve holders.
