YWG has three official parking products, all run by the Winnipeg Airports Authority, with GST included: the Economy Lot at $26 CAD a day or $115 CAD a week, the Parkade at $32 CAD a day or $135 CAD a week, and Valet & Away at $45 CAD a day or $179 CAD a week. The weekly rates matter most. Seven days in the Economy Lot costs $115 CAD, against $182 CAD at the daily rate (7 × $26 CAD). The Parkade is a 2 to 3 minute walk from the terminal, the Economy Lot is a 5 to 7 minute walk, and all three can be booked online.
What the airport charges for each parking product
The Parkade and the Economy Lot both charge $3.00 CAD per 30 minutes. A day costs $26 CAD in the Economy Lot, $32 CAD in the Parkade and $45 CAD with Valet & Away. GST, the only sales tax, is included.

These are the only three products on the authority's rate table, so there is no separate value lot. An hour in the Parkade or the Economy Lot costs $6.00 CAD (2 × $3.00 CAD). The authority publishes no monthly rate, no effective date for these prices, and no point at which the 30-minute charges give way to the daily rate.
Online rates are dynamic and listed as "up to" amounts. For the Parkade week, that ceiling is $130 CAD, which is $5 CAD below the $135 CAD gate rate. The authority does not explain the difference.
Booking ahead and paying
You can book all three products on the authority's parking page. The form has a promo code box, but no code is published. With a booking, scan the barcode on your phone at the entry and exit gates. With a ticket, pay by debit or credit card at a pay station on any floor of the four-level Parkade, or at the exit lane kiosk. The Parking Cashier Booth at the exit gate takes every form of payment.
A lost ticket costs the greater of one day at the Parkade rate or the days you parked, as confirmed by the airport's licence plate records. Cars left in the Parkade or the Economy Lot for more than six months are towed.
Weekly rate or daily rate: what 3, 7 and 14 nights cost
For a week away, the weekly rate saves $67 CAD in the Economy Lot, $89 CAD in the Parkade and $136 CAD with Valet & Away, compared with seven daily rates. For 3 nights, paying daily is cheaper for all three.

Each night counts as one 24-hour day at the drive-up rate, and 14 nights counts as two weekly rates. The authority does not publish how it bills a partial extra day or a stay longer than one week. Booked online, the Parkade week is up to $130 CAD, which saves at least $94 CAD on 7 nights.
The week pays off early. Five days in the Economy Lot at the daily rate is $130 CAD, already more than its $115 CAD week. Five days in the Parkade is $160 CAD against a $135 CAD week, and four days of Valet & Away is $180 CAD against a $179 CAD week. The authority does not say whether the gate applies the weekly rate to a 5-day or 6-day stay, so ask the parking office at 204-987-9402.
Where each option sits and how you reach the terminal
The Parkade is directly across from the terminal, a 2 to 3 minute walk. The Economy Lot is a surface lot behind the Parkade, a 5 to 7 minute walk, and the authority lists no shuttle for it. Valet & Away takes your car at the curb.

Both self-park options are open 24 hours. The authority lists 24/7 video surveillance and security patrols, free block heater plugs, battery boost packs and staff at the Parking Cashier Booth, and free baggage carts. The parking page also shows a live estimate of how full each product is.
The authority's pages disagree on where valet starts. The parking page says the Arrivals Level by Door 3, while the Valet & Away page says to drive up to the departures level. Confirm with the valet desk at 204.774.5897 before you leave home.
Getting there: drop-off, the free waiting lot, rideshare and the bus
Drop travellers off on Departures Level 2 and pick them up on Arrivals Level 1. To meet a flight, wait free in the Cell Phone Lot east of the terminal on Wellington Avenue. Rideshare pickups are outside Door 1, and taxis and city buses are near Door 3.
The terminal is at 1970 Wellington Avenue, about nine kilometres from downtown Winnipeg. The authority publishes no entrance-by-entrance driving directions for its lots.

The airport says buses serve the terminal from 5:24 a.m. to 1:17 a.m., and that times may vary on weekends and statutory holidays. Winnipeg Transit's schedule for stop 20070, Westbound Wellington at Airport Terminal, lists Route D12 toward The Forks and Route 224 toward RRC Polytech and Tecumseh Loop from September 6 to December 13, 2026. A peggo card costs $5 CAD once, and children 11 and under ride free with a paying rider. Plan the trip with the Navigo trip planner or by calling 311.
Accessible parking, electric vehicles and tall vehicles
Every YWG lot has accessible stalls for permit holders. The closest are on Level 3 of the Parkade, where a covered walkway leads to Departures Level 2. It is the only direct connection to airline check-in. No EV charging is published, and the Parkade has a 2.2 metre height limit.
Accessible pick-up and drop-off spots are on the Arrivals Level 1 median and the Departures Level 2 curb, for loading only. For help from the curb to check-in, use an accessibility kiosk in the Departures Level drop-off area or call 204-987-9798. The airport says a representative is dispatched within five minutes. Winnipeg WAV books wheelchair-accessible vehicles at 204-986-4928. Whether permit holders pay a different parking rate is not published.
Electric vehicles: the authority's parking, services and accessibility pages do not mention EV charging. The only power it lists at its lots is the free block heater plugs. Park'N Fly, a private operator on Berry Street that ParkingAccess does not sell, says it charges electric cars at its indoor valet on request, with availability based on demand.
Tall vehicles: the Parkade's height limit is 2.2 metres, or 7 feet 2 inches. No height limit is published for the Economy Lot, and no rules or rates are published for RVs or trailers. To arrange curbside parking for special circumstances, the authority asks drivers to call 204-987-9402.

The Cell Phone Lot is free for pick-ups. For trips of up to 4 days, the Economy Lot at $26 CAD a day is the lowest airport price. For a full week, compare the weekly rates: $115 CAD, $135 CAD or $179 CAD.
