Specifically asked for a room away from the interstate traffic because of the noise. Was assured that the room was quiet...it definitely was not even close. We heard the expressway and airport all night long. A couple of our hand towels were extremely damp. Not sure how those were even hung on the rack. I get it, the hotel is by the expressway, high probability that it's going to be loud. But please don't lie to me about having a quiet room. Had to be up at 4am to make a flight. Good thing, cause I didn't sleep at all.

My stay was amazing! The suite was beautiful & the mirrors?! AMAZING! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous on the inside & very clean! The bed felt like HEAVEN. It was kinda hard going places because I wanted to lay in bed all day. The staff was very hospitable and accommodating and I will definitely stay there next time I’m in Louisville!

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The facility is small. From the dining room to the lobby. The rooms were dirty and ants were everywhere! As much money I paid, I couldn't believe how old the rooms were. I'm just appalled. Elevators were filthy. I mean I could go on and on. I just could not believe it! Never again.

The front desk attendant was not overly friendly when I checked in. Oh well. Only negative part of my stay. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was good. The area could use a few more restaurants but overall not bad. Would stay again.

Hello again from the silent traveler. As I've stated before no hotel is 100% perfect or will they get it right 100% of the time. It all depends on how the staff handles a customer situation. I had a situation that the staff handle it effectively and quickly. I had a mouse in my room as I was turning in for the night getting ready for my travels the next day. It was late and I did not feel like going to another hotel so they were able to handle situation quickly and effectively and make sure that I was safe and comfortable in my new room. Again that's how you can determine a really good hotel how they handle situations based on customers expectations.

The staff other than Gloria at the front desk are extremely rude. We stayed Jan 1 and checked out on the second with the promise of free breakfast with our stay. Breakfast is supposed to run until 10am. At 9:15 the oatmeal was gone, there was no bread. I asked for a Bagel and was told that was all they had for that day and they didn't know if the truck was coming. The woman was Extremely rude to the point where she was aggressive. Another guests asked another staff member for a piece of bread for her little boy (the staff member had a piece in her hand), she said it was the last piece. How is the staff going to tell a guest they got the last piece of bread? Extremely unprofessional, very unlike anything related to Marriott standards. Also, the sink in the room was clogged and the shower was not very hot at all, We were very disappointed. Oh and lastly, the hand sanitizer in the elevator makes your hands smell like dead fish, it is awful.

I wish they had gloves and sanitizer for people all using the same silverware to pick up food. Nice hotel very clean but breakfast was not very good. No cereal no hot grits or pancakes or waffles. Just meat and eggs and yogurt and fruit. Touching the same tongs as everyone else knowing they didn’t was their hands.

The staff was very pleasant and friendly and our suite was very clean. I love the fact that they provided us with shuttle concierge service to get to the Louisville game.

This is one of our favorite place for accommodation. We really like the quality of the hotel. They maintain the rooms, common area very organized and clean.



We had free breakfast coupon and extremely happy with the variety of options and taste.



We will keep going here for one more reason, their friendly staff.

I was overall pleased with my experience at this hotel during a work trip... up until the housekeeper lied about taking my $200 headphones. I learned my lesson, but I just wish I was dealing with honest, good people. The story is always the same at every hotel. To whoever took them - enjoy those brand new headphones.

Upon arriving to Louisville, KY we were hoping to check in and get right to Kentucky Kingdom. After having difficulty checking in at another hotel we managed to make our way to the Spring Hill Suites without a reservation. Ms. LaVern at the front desk was extremely nice and pleasant. She shared lots of information about shuttle services, hotel amenities and local dining. There was a room available and she got us checked in right away. We asked for a view of Kentucky Kingdom and we got just that. The rooms was spacious and super convenient. We were able to purchase park passes and utilize the shuttle service which saved us $20. The shuttle service picked us up at the front of the hotel and dropped us at the entrance to the park. When we were ready to leave the park we simply contacted the hotel to request a shuttle. We never waited more than 10 minutes either way. Overall this stay was super convenient, close to everything and a money saver. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and I know exactly where to stay when we come back. Thanks Spring Hill Suites!

Nice clean hotel..very good service. Breakfast was awesome... i stayed entire weekend with 4 kids..only issue was the air-conditioning making wierd noises all night.. overall great stay..will do again.

The Visit did not start out very good the AC in our Room made lots of noise. We address it with the front desk before we left for the day for a funeral we were in town for. Upon our return we brought it to the manager's attention. He did his best to make amends changed our rooms And was very receptive to our feedback and they were gracious in Is the attempts to recover the situation. The ability to make amends makes all the difference in the world.

Desk staff and room staff extremely kind and generous with service! A total pleasure to stay with these folks. They honestly took great care of our 3 teams that we had staying with them. This staff is a total feather in the cap to the city of Louisville and the Marriott brand!

Was in the immediate area to set up for a convention close by. This was a first time stay here but will stay there again. Very clean, staff nice, good breakfast bar, swimming pool open but didnt get to use because arrived to late, but it was really clean.

The hotel was nice and so was the room. Enjoyed my stay up until I noticed on my bank statement I did not receive my deposit back. I called the hotel (didn’t give my name or the room I stayed in) to see why and they said it was because I was smoking in the room, they found ashes in the window seal and it had to be “desmoked.” I found that very interesting being that nobody stayed in the room but me and my 1 year old son. Thankfully I took pictures of the entire room (including window and all corners of the room) so that I can dispute the transaction! I wonder if anybody else has had this issue since they advised me that “100% of their guest dispute the charge with their bank because of the smoking policy, and I can do so as well.” Nevertheless, the hotel room was nice.

My boyfriend and I arrived around 2am after a long and stressful night. We were exhausted and just wanted to get some sleep that night. The hotel staff was so nice! But unfortunately our room had black mold in the shower as well in the wall in the room... I’m highly allergic to mold and had an anaphylactic allergic reaction. Luckily I had some medication to help get me through the night. I understand I could have requested a new room but we were both so fed up and exhausted from our day, I bundled up in layers to keep my skin from being exposed to the mold in the air. I notified the front desk that morning when I checked out and showed him the photos of the mold in our room, he apologized. I thought I would feel better that next day but I proceeded to get worse. The mold mycotoxins from that room were all over my clothes and all my belongings which led my breathing to become more labored and my face to breakout in hives. I didn’t want to complain and be an a-hole about the situation but it ended up really effecting me during my weekend vacation with my boyfriend 😕
