Enjoyed our stay. Staff was very helpful, especially during these weird times. Rooms are starting to show their age. Shuttle made getting back and forth from Kentucky Kingdom easier. Pool was chilly but each family signs up for an hour block by themselves.
Marriott properties are our go to hotels when we travel because you can count on them to be clean, comfortable and safe. This property in the plaza district of KC was disappointing! Our room had an odd odor. A/c unit made a racket sound. No coffee in our room. No shampoo or conditioner. Bathroom faucet came off in my hand. Parking garage was filthy, smelly, creepy and very dark. Door from the garage to the elevator was locked, so to get into the hotel we had to walk outside in the horrible humid heat and walk up a steep hill to get to the entrance. Our room was very small. The couch was extremely uncomfortable. The lobby was very small and unattractive. Would never stay there again.
Very nice suite with cleanliness as an obvious priority paired with comfortable beds made for a very relaxing, and pleasant stay. I woke up easily, and refreshed! I recommend, that if given the opportunity, book a night here!
The Suite is excellent. It fully accommodated a good night's sleep, clean room nice bath, couch and desk great staff
The customer service was ok. The room had a funny smell, the tub was stained, I had to place a small towel to stand on because I didn’t feel comfortable showering. And the wall was pealing in the bathroom. Was told that we weren’t able to connect my fire stick to the WiFi because of “safety issues” so my daughter wasn’t able to watch Disney+ And was forced to watch hbo which they provided. The lights were super dimmer and a few didn’t work at all. The 2 double beds were full size which is every uncomfortable for my boyfriend and I to sleep I assumed they were atleast Queen which was my fault. Long story short I wanted to leave 15 mins after getting there. I usually stay at Aloft which is another Marriot and I have never had an issue. I am very disappointed. I don’t like to complain and figured every room was the same so we stayed. I won’t be staying again.
Nice hotel with all the amenities. The breakfast was excellent. Located near Kentucky Kingdom amusement park, my kids loved it. We could walk to the park. Several good restaurants close by as well.
Really nice rooms. Got a great deal via hotwire too, so do check for deals before booking a room 😊
Very nice room. King Size bed. Separate seating area w L-shaped couch, mini fridge & microwave. Very comfortable
Clean rooms, with big walk in closets, great hose-keeping, and an awesome concierge! Would stay again
Clean room, good pricing, standard breakfast spread. Accommodated a large family late at night on short notice, staff were polite as well.
This hotel is great!! It is as close to Louisville airport as it gets and is perfect if you have a flight very early in the morning and you drove there the night before like we did. The room was clean, pool was nice, but did not have a hot tub. The front desk service was very helpful. They offered us an entire list of local restaurants! The room was nice and spacious. The only real problem we had during our visit was with the airport shuttle service. It was so easy getting to the airport, but when we got back from our vacation and needed a shuttle back to the hotel, it took about 30 minutes. We had to call more than once to get someone to come. However, they did eventually show up, and it was still better than paying for airport parking. I would recommend staying at this hotel. It was overall a great experience.
Loved my experience at this hotel. Convenient to airport yet really quick easy access to highway to go to the city.
Close to expo center and convenient fast food restaurants nearby.
The hotel facilities are well kept, nice small pool and gym. Decent breakfast included. Easy parking and many other hotels surrounding this one.
The staff was superb. From the check in ladies to check out gents. All were helpful and amazing.
I really liked my room, with a stand in shower, a little living room with work desk and comfortable bed. Great AC!
Minor suggestion would be to mount another TV on wall in bedroom. Watching TV from bed is almost a no go. But if this room had that small TV for living room and another one same size mounted on the wall, this could be a master suite room.
I was not there to watch TV, so I was fine. I much liked the spacious walk in shower and the very complete gym.
Fantastic hotel. The staff is great and the rooms very comfortable. John from the front desk made our vacation perfect!
Nice location. Rooms are clean. Beds are soft. Aircondtioning worked good. Staff was nice and friendly
Best hotel stay ever! Friendly, helpful staff. Extremely clean rooms! Nice breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay here again!
This was the traditional SpringHill stay. It did not standout much as far as hotels. The amenities like the gym and pool were satisfactory. The TV in the room was quite small. The morning breakfast buffet lacked certain items they traditionally have such as boiled eggs. The building was renovated so there was still old parts of the room and building and the elevator was old and creaky even though it was updated on the inside. We did have a small incident in the pool area were one of the ceiling tile fell. Luckily no one was underneath otherwise they would have been seriously injured. We would most likely not stay here again
Went for a business trip and had a nice stay. The bed was comfy although the pillows weren’t good for me but that’s just my preference.
free shuttle service to about 30 different food options! Friendly staff, decent continental breakfast.
pubic hairs on shower wall so you can tell they didn’t clean thoroughly. No room service.
