Park Place Inn and Cottages (No Shuttle Service)

So much character and charm. Comfy, cozy and clean.

I chose to stay here because I brought my baby with me and it's a great choice!

The rooms are wonderful. The kitchenwares are completed. The check in/out process is easy. The only minor scratch is the wifi signal seems not strong for my laptop. But in general, it's a great choice for family to stay!

Cute cute cute! Our historic room on the bottom floor was delightful, beautiful and aesthetically cohesive. It’s very homey and it brought me much more joy than a plainly furnished hotel room (cheaper too.) I can assure bad reviews I’ve read about this place were because they were expecting a sterile presten plain hotel. If you do don’t appreciate a charismatically designed room then don’t come here! The only issue I had was that our jacuzzi bathtub didn’t work but I didn’t even know the room came with one in the first place. I wish all old Inns looked like this one!

My wife and I stayed 10 days and truly enjoyed our experience. The owners Morgon and Shanda were wonderful. We stayed in the chef suite and found it very comfortable, with and great kitchen. We already booked our stay for next year.

I wish I could move in permanently and have all my meals catered and best of all it’s so close to all the downtown events

Highly recommend if you want a place with plenty of room, enjoying walking to restaurants and need a full kitchen. Grocery story is 1/2 a mile away and it restaurants are a little more than 1/2 a mile. Plenty of room for a family of 5

Beautiful, cozy and equipped. Close enough but also far enough away from busy downtown Sanford. Super friendly staff. Loved it. Can't wait to go back!

Charming and comfortable - we were delighted with our 2 BR upstairs unit. We enjoyed the nice, quality linens on the bed and the plush towels.

It was chilly when we were there. It would have been nice to have extra blankets available.

We were delighted with our overnight stay. Check in was easy and our unit was completely charming! We've never stayed in a place with such interesting art on the walls and even hand-painted designs on the ceilings!

It was chilly the night we stayed and it would have been nice to have an extra blanket available. We are also a little older and would have felt more secure if there was a grab bar in the shower.

Overall, it was an excellent accommodation. I would especially recommend it for a group because there were multiple common areas to gather and enjoy each other's company outside. And the garden feeling to the exterior was just lovely.

I am absolutely charmed by this lovely place! Effortless check in and check out. Perfectly located to enjoy Downtown Sanford shops, restaurants and parks. And oh my ... the suite was simply delightful! Spacious, clean, filled with thoughtful amenities.... just opening the door into the kitchen of the Chef's suite promised the stay would be comfortable and a tad decadent. There is also a cute area to sit with table and chairs under the trees draped with lights at night. Wish we had scheduled to stayed longer!

Charming. Peaceful. Great reuse and updating of a historic property. A lot of attention to detail with the end user in mind.

Absolutely perfect!! Everything you need is there just bring clothes and food!! The bed was soooo comfortable.. We will definitely stay there again if we ever in Sandford area 🥰❤️🥰 I rate it a 10

Adorable little cottage in a perfect location to the Barn or Tuffy’s Music Box! The room was clean, elegant and the host was great. Will definitely be staying with Park Place Inn and Cottages again!



Bonus, we had the most adorable little cat greet us as we departed. Loved everything about this stay.

Such a cute place. We had two rooms. Our rooms were very well decorated. Would recommend to anyone. Grocery, food and bar scene in very close proximity. There is even a park in walking distance too. Just a lovely place to stay.

We stayed here during our evacuation from Hurricane Ian (September 2022), and Aaron and his wife were very kind and accommodating, which we were so grateful for, given the circumstances. We were in "The Ivy", a 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom, that had a small but full kitchen unit upstairs.



WHAT WE LOVED

- it's adorable and completely charming

- it was spacious and the living room was comfy

- the kitchen was decently equipped and easy to cook in

- having a washer/dryer in unit was great

- the murals on the ceiling were gorgeous!

- the owners were helpful and understanding



WHAT WE DIDN'T LOVE

- the beds were truly awful. One was hard as a board and the other was held up by random bricks/boards and sagged in the middle. We literally went out and bought a 2 inch foam mattress topper and it improved our stay drastically.



- the walls don't go up to the ceiling. As in, you can hear the people in the other bedroom, see their lights on from the inner bedroom... It was really strange and I would be uncomfortable if we were staying here with another couple.



- the building is really old, so the door would stick, not seal properly, and the wood floors felt saggy.



- the second inner bedroom is so tiny, even a petite person would struggle to get into the other side of the bed, by squeezing alongside the wall.



- the stairs leading up to the unit were rickety and could easily give you splinters.



All in all, we enjoyed our time at Park Place. It was quiet and peaceful, in spite of the storm and flooding. And yes, this area floods so keep that in mind for future hurricanes!

Loved the stay. The house was quaint and cozy. Had old feel but with updated amenities. Loved the jacuzzi tub in the day spa room. Everything was very clean! Will stay here again!

Far better than we anticipated! Wish we’d booked a longer stay and will next time for sure. Amazingly outfitted accommodations, comfortable, they’ve thought of everything. Clean, comfortable, classic and classy! We absolutely loved this place and will be back again without a doubt. The staff, the offerings, everything was wonderful and five star!!!

A Hidden Gem!!



I recently booked Park Place (specifically The Historic Craftsman) for an event and it truly exceeded every expectation. The Historic Craftsman is truly beautiful. Not only that, but the staff were amazing! Hank and Christina personally helped me with the event. Christina was there on event day and was so kind and extremely helpful, I couldn’t thank her enough.



My stay was wonderful, the whole place clean and truly perfect. I’m not someone who ever leaves reviews, I was just so happy with my choice of booking that I wanted to repay them in some way.



I’ll definitely be back!

What a pleasure it was to spend a night at this special place. We live in Winter Park but we like to take quick escapes away from the crowds. We were very happy with our cottage and it was like stepping into a different world once we saw the bedroom. Everything was clean and even with the heavy drapes and area rug it didn't have any smell that other places with older furniture have. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets have to be high thread based on softness. Our bathroom was huge and we left the table lamp on overnight.Only two things kept it from five stars and it was a towel with stains that should have not been there for us with the fresh stack. And the outside is absolutely lovely but needs a quick blower and hose to maintain it's cleanliness. We stayed in a cottage recently and the housekeeper was blowing the common areas daily. We will return for the lighting of Sanford for the holidays and will request the same unit we had. Wonderful stay !

Awesome dtay evertime we go.

This is our stay anytime we are in the area. Very clean and cozy, quaint, beautifully decorated. Reasonable price and the owner is super nice. Quiet, safe area. Close to historic downtown (free golf cart shuttle available) and Sanford Airport.

I stayed here for 3 weeks in August 2019. I could not have been happier -- everything was simply excellent. Great accommodations, super friendly staff, convenient location. Aaron and his crew went out of their way to make everything perfect. Highly, highly recommend!

My wife and I really enjoyed our time at Park Place Inn & Cottages. Very, very clean and beautiful place that made us feel a bit at home.

We didnt have the pleasure of dealing with Amanda Butler but we did communicate with Aaron Butler. He was very professional, very helpful and also very pleasant. He was informative on the area surroundings and where was a good place for entertainment and fun, especially since we were from out of town. We will definitely be back to enjoy another wonderful stay and experience.

I'm so grateful that I stumbled on this charming place. The rooms are tastefully decorated, well equipped, and cleaner than any hotel you will find in Sanford. There is an adorable courtyard to relax in. The owner, Aaron is very friendly and accommodating. This is a very short ride to the Sanford Airport, yet close enough to walk to the historic downtown area. There are several unique restaurants to choose from downtown. I only stayed for one night because I had an early flight out, but will definitely be back. I would not hesitate to recommend the Park Place Inn & Cottages to my friends and family. I absolutely loved my stay at Park Place Inn & Cottages!

The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, the rooms are wonderfully decorated. I had everything I could possibly need for my stay, and more.

The area is so peaceful and quiet, it was nice to sit up on the top deck of The Coastal Suite, and watch the sunset.

I have to say, I was extremely relaxed during my stay, which is hard for me to do sometimes when I’m away from home. I fell asleep on the couch at 8:00 pm, and didn’t wake up until the morning to go into the room to actually sleep in the bed!

I highly recommend anyone in the area that is looking to stay at a beautiful end it has a lot of history, to stay at this one:)

Aaron was a huge help getting everything right for a surprise party for my GF. I wouldn't been able to pull it off without his prompt responses and willingness to go above and beyond. The room was just what you want from a Bed and Breakfast style stay. Cozy but modern comforts. Lots of space extra sitting areas and very clean. Book here and you won't regret it.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay long but it was such a beautiful and special place. The owner was wonderful to work with and we will definitely be coming back when we have more time to enjoy it! Highly recommend!

The Chic Cotrage was gorgeous and the bed was incredible! My only disappointment was that I only had one night to enjoy it. Very accessible room and while we didn't need the little kitchenette, it would have been really nice for a longer stay.

It's a very nice place to stay while in the area. It's really cozy, rustic and traditional. It's located minutes away from the downtown area and very close to several grocery stores. The owner Morgan is a very nice guy.

This place made you feel welcomed and comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom cottage, full kitchen, bath, washer and dryer and livingroom for a reasonable price. Aaron, the owner, along with his staff was very informative of the area and before the the office for the day checked to see if their was anything we needed. Very clean. I will definitely stay there again.

Just amazing.. I could ramble on about how wonderful this place is but instead I will encourage you to book a night or two (or more 😁) and experience it for yourself. Especially if you love historical homes.. PERFECT.

Despite me having issues booking through a separate website , I had called to take care of the issue and they were more than accommodating! I’m so happy I chose to stay at the cottages and will definitely return if I’m ever in the Orlando area!

What a beautiful place to stay at. Very cozy home. Highly recommended. Very clean and comfortable. The owners are very responsive if you have any questions and they leave lots of clean towels and blankets. Historic downtown is 4 min by car or just a short walk away. There are many places to eat and enjoy nearby. Will definitely come back if we are in the area again!

I am absolutely blown away by this place, from the historical feel to the beautiful painting, the cleanliness to the family owned and operated vibe. I am literally in love with this place and the owner is just as amazing. It's a beautiful property with even more magical cottages. Breath taking is not even enough to describe this place. And again, the owner is so kind, always working so hard to better this already amazing place for the guests. A few months ago i had no idea this place existed even and now I'm obsessed. 5 stars isn't even enough. Thank you to the owner and all employees who make it such. ❤️

We stayed in the Chef's Suite and it is so cozy and homey! Free onsite parking! Such a quiet place but just a few short blocks away is everything you want in local food and drink. Historic downtown is so nice also. Saturday farmers market was a fun time.

We had a wonderful night at chic cottage! Beautiful room! Perfect for a couple!! Down town Sanford was very nice! I recommend the beautiful cottage for everyone to enjoy, and the room was cleaned and had a wonderful homey fragrance.
