I stayed at the Best Western Mccarran for a quick overnight before my flight out of Vegas. I was in the area to visit Zion National Park, not Vegas, so this hotel was fine for a layover before catching a flight. The rooms were clean and the staff welcoming. Breakfast is included. There was a pool and picnic tables in the back. They have a shuttle to the airport, which was only a few minutes away. It is very convenient if you are avoiding the Vegas Strip and need accommodations near the airport.
My only complaint is the rooms are older/dated and have a slight smell of smoke, though we were staying in nonsmoking rooms.
This is a real review, since everyone said the good reviews must be bad. My family had to find a room after our AC went out in the middle of a hot day. We loved our amenities and felt very comfortable during our stay. The front desk agents and all staff we encountered were so kind and helpful. The room was clean and felt sanitized. The options for take away breakfast due to the pandemic were fabulous. Bagels, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, pastries, muffins, fruit, etc. I was telling my husband that if I were from out of town visiting Vegas I would choose this place. It's very close to the airport and strip and you will save money by not staying at a resort with extra fees and upcharges for everything. So yes this is 100% a real review.
Perfect escape from the Strip. Easy plentiful parking All around solid! Big rooms great TV Comfortable sheets clean and pristine from the fabulous housekeeping crew when desk with the new faces and smiles Makes you not even notice the plexiglass. OK so the pool is kind of with the parking lot the water feels nice and on in
I have stayed here many times and the staff is always efficient, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. It’s location is perfectly located 2 miles from the airport and maybe a mile from the strip with easy/cheap public transportation available nearby. Kudos to all of the staff...you do a fantastic job.
This was a pleasant surprise, after a rough time at the airport with all the Spirit and American Airline flight cancellations and pilots striking. This was my little safe haven. 1 mile from the airport. They have a shuttle service that runs till 10pm and will pick you up upon request. Check out is at 12pm, it's modest but clean and generous with microwave, fridge, towels, and little toiletries. The staff is incredibly friendly too!. I would stay here any day. I was able to do laundry, grab breakfast, some snacks and unwind. Overall amazing stay. Effort is greatly appreciated 👍😁
Wee stay here a few times a year and it's funny how we always get the same room. The shuttle is handy but it seems like at least once on our travels we need it when it's not scheduled to run. In those cases we just get a taxi. The AM/PM next door is very convenient for snacks and waters. The rooms are clean and pretty comfortable. The only flaw is that the air conditioner in room 205 is underpowered. It would also be nice if the showerhead could be more adaptable to us short people but it's in a fixed position. We always find it's a good place to stay with reasonable rates.
Very nice shuttle and front desk staff. Affordable snacks if you need them. Helped get a cab for me. Felt safe there. Close to the airport. Will stay there again.
We stayed here the night before our flight out of Las Vegas. We were pleased they had a room to accommodate our whole family. They offered a "grab and go" breakfast with several choices. Everything was clean and comfortable. The shuttle was great at getting us to the airport in a fast and friendly manner.
We were passing through and needed a a room for the night, we probably could of stayed at one of the fancy hotels, but opted to stay here and it worked out great! It takes you out of the hub bub of the Vegas strip. If you fly in or out they have a free shuttle to get you to the airport which is literally right down the street. Again we were driving through so no need for that. They had plenty of parking. If you are towing anything we did not see much for parking on that scope, we usually have something like that so information about parking is usually helpful to us! The room was clean and the beds were comfortable- I would stay here again! They had continental breakfast which with covid is a grab and go which suited us just fine. They do have a fridge in room but no microwave so heat up anything you need to down stairs before going back to room. The check in process was very easy, we book through app and then just finished process at front desk. We heard no loud noises or traffic through out the night. Hope this helps anybody needing a place to just rest up and get back to it!
It is exactly what it should be. Extremely clean .. nice views ... has everything motel 6
doesn't and a better price depending on weekend. Front desk staff exceptional service!! This is how people should be treated when we are paying for a service. I never had to ask for a thing they were ready with all necessities. A+ overall
The front desk guy didn't even look me in my eye. He wouldn't accept my card to pay for the room, even though it was accepted to reserve the room. Told me I had to get cash PLUS a $200 cash refundable deposit. I DID call customer service to get my reservation cancelled and just booked somewhere else. He works the evening shift on Saturdays so avoid that timeframe of you want good customer service. 👎🏿
I would first like to personally thank Rayleen and i apologize if I spelled that wrong, but she is the front desk supervisor here, you have no idea how much your kindness made our very frustrating day so much better. For no apparent reason our flight back to Michigan was pushed to the following day, it left us scrambling for a place for the night after already checking out of our resort for the return flight home, not only did u give me step by step directions on how to get to the shuttle you sent for us to ensure we did not have to walk here, but your patience, understanding, and knowledge of your job was on impressive display. After we arrived you seen to it that we had something to eat and coffee, you dear were a blessing and we want to make sure you get the recognition your type of service deserves. I work for a very successful company as an assistant location manager, working in customer service and training those under me I wish i could take you back to Michigan and offer you immediate employment. You are a shining example of everything I would want from my employees and I hope Best Western knows what an asset you truly are. Best wishes, Josh and Samantha Room 340 dated, 3/29/2021
My bed was the "WORST BED I HAVE EVER SLEPT IN .IN MY WHOLE LIFE"!!! I AM 67.The other bed my brother slept in was fine, they said. I ROLLED UP A PILLOW & A BATH TOWEL & PUT THEM UNDER THE MATTRESS . ON ONE SIDE. TO KEEP FROM ROLLING OFF THE BED!!!!!. THE PEOPLE DIDN'T WANT TO EVEN GIVE ME A DISCOUNT. WE ONLY STAYED THERE BECAUSE EVERY OTHER PLACE WANTED $200. PLUS RESORT FEES. I WILL NEVER TRUST A ROOM UNDER 4 STARS AGAIN. ONLY STAY HERE IF YOU HAVE NO CHOICE !! I RECOMMEND BOOKING A ROOM IN LOS VEGAS LONG BEFORE YOU GET THERE.DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE!!
Motel is nice enough my complaint is on the long term parking. We were not told that the shuttle to and from the airport is not 24 hrs a day. We got in at 7:40 pm and were told as long as we called and let them know we were there they would wait for us. We were told this exact same thing by two different people on different occasions. We called when we landed and when we got out to the shuttle at 8:20 and guess what, it was gone. Called the motel and they said that they could not wait, so sorry. We ended up getting a taxi over but what a paid because we had 6 people and our luggage. Very poor communication on their part.
This hotel is one of the best places that I have stayed at. It is comfortable and quiet here, as the rooms and the hotel are very clean. The staff is impeccable, and the free breakfast is great too. It is well worth staying here.
The desk clerk was absolutely wonderful and so helpful. He allowed us to grab some breakfast items for the morning as we had to leave before breakfast would be served for our early morning flight. I believe his name was Anthony. Thank you again.
Great location near airport.. very clean and a good value. Breakfast had good variety considering covid precautions
I give Best Western McCarran Inn located at 4970 Paradise Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89119 FOUR STARS. A chill place to get some well needed sleep after a long flight / drive. It is near the LV airport and also near the Las Vegas strip 4️⃣ 🌟's.
Passing through area booked last min. Ricky was VERY HELPFUL AMAZING customer services. Lost phone in Uber ride front desk received it back for me. Overall great night stay BIG thumbs up to all Staff ! Thank you guys so much!
The hotel was blah, nothing really worth talking about in terms of the room so I gave it 2 stars. But the only good thing about this hotel and the is the staff. Shout out to Ricky! I don't think I've ever had better service in all my stays in any other hotel....He got 5 stars all the way.
I booked this spot for 3 days but the room was just not to my liking. Only came with 2 pillows per bed and the bed itself was pretty firm. All in all I only stayed for one day and Ricky at the front desk was kind enough to help me cancel my stay and promptly gave me a refund.
I’m literally only giving this hotel 3 stars and not 1, because of Ricky at the front desk. I give him 5 stars. The hotel is not the worst hotel in the world, but for the price, I would definitely go anywhere else. The lobby is very pretty downstairs, but after walking around and visiting the room, you can tell that that’s where all the money goes, just into making the lobby look nice. The bedrooms are in serious need of an upgrade. The beds were so uncomfortable, I went down and cancelled the next 2 of my 3 night stay, as soon as I sat on it. Not to mention the terrible back pain I woke up with. I had a 2 queen bed “suite” that is suppose to sleep 5+ with only 4 pillows that were about the size of couch cushions. The room was clean, I will give them that. But it so badly needs new carpet/bedding/everything, that it looked dingy. The shutters were nice, but only side stood closed so we had to deal with that Vegas sun bright and early since there were no curtains. The bathroom was very small and the floors desperately need a deep cleaning. You can hear airplanes taking off, which is to be expected, I did not feel like I noticed the sound enough for it to be annoying, so that was nice. The parking is open to the street and there are homeless people that sleep in the back, so I would try to park my car in the front. The guests staying here right now were also a reason for leaving early. I’m aware that the hotel has no control over certain things, but there were people with their children running around in towels, not fully dressed, letting their infants run around barefoot, and even guests themselves not properly dressed/half naked. Just absolute trash staying at these hotels right now. Go somewhere else. But shoutout to Ricky! He was a joy to work with and he made the experience a lot better as much as he could.
Shuttle stops running at 8pm? How is this possible in Vegas?
Check in was easy. The room was clean and the ac was on when we got in the room which was nice because it was HOT for being 8pm. Staff was friendly. The only downside was due to covid there was not the usual yummy breakfast spread. But they did provide easy grab and go choices which was convenient and my kids liked the breakfast sandwiches we just came for a random spur of the moment trip and it was totally worth it. We will stay here again. It was cozy and safe. Which was something important to us because we have kids. And it wasn't pricy. Also not far to the strip. We will be coming again and this is where we will stay.
It's close to the airport and very nice 👍😃
It was a nice size room. Very clean. The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. RJ was awesome. Always with a smile even as he was mopping the main lobby. I was having trouble getting my boarding pass printed he stopped what he was doing to help me. He really made us feel like we were his only customers. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Desert resort earlier this week and stayed here because we missed our flight. I feel like we should have stayed here instead.
