Paid $728 for 2 weeks including the resort fees and taxes. Incredibly cheap considering the other hotels try to hide the “resort fee” until you have your credit card out. The hotel room is really big. Has a separate kitchenette, no microwave. Has big separate living room with a couch, chairs and an ottoman. 42” tv. The curtains, carpet and bedding are old and tattered and I guess that way others rated this hotel low. It has been very quiet and peaceful here. All the employees have been friendly and accommodating. The little restaurant serves a nice inexpensive breakfast. I will definitely stay here again.

I'm going to give you guys 4 stars and the reason its not 5 is because the area is a little to active for my taste other than the location you guys are a great hotel. I love the rooms here they are very clean and spacious. You guys are a very nice hotel and the game room is a great spot to gamble in. My experience here has been exciting i love it so far. Keep up the good work guys ! thanks!!!

I had a long layover due to flight cancellations. This place is pretty close to the airport and is perfect for short stay. Affordable and room was clean. They also offer luggage storage service which is good if you want to explore the city. Public transport is very close and strip is walkable distance. Good for short stay and budget travel. I wouldn't keep the luggage in the rooms and the room phone is prone to scams so don't give out private details. Staff is helpful and understanding.

Large affordable suite like rooms that are pretty decent for what you pay. With no resort fee! The "casino" is more of a hotel lobby with 15 or so machines. There is a bar & grill with more bar top machines and a decent food menu. Not your conventional Vegas hotel/casino but all in all, for what you pay, worth it. Plus its within walking distance of the convention center.

I'm going to give the Mardi Gras Hotel & Casino a five-star rating just based on the fact that they didn't run me off! And I'll tell you right now the place seems nice and organized, clean and security looks pretty good. I was supposed to meet a friend there maybe? Or go there with her at 2:00 I don't know, but I'll stop back in there some other time have a beer and something to eat. I'll update my review and post pictures......LORD willing I should say. That part. I certainly like to play slots, so I AM looking forward to it~~~

Great place to stay. Good room rates, low resort fee, close to monorail, walkable to the strip and to the sphere, nice pool and bonus seperate outdoor sitting area. Spacious rooms with mini fridge and super friendly, helpful staff. We love it here!

We stayed at the Mardi Gras Hotel & Casino on our most recent trip to Las Vegas. We decided to get a room at a hotel close to the strip while also avoiding the hectic crowds & the Marti Gras Hotel was perfect. Our receptionist Greisy was extremely friendly & helpful, she even helped us find things to do in Las Vegas. We were more interested in getting the "local's experience" & she gave us suggestions such as the Taco & Tamales event which was at Desert Breeze park. The rooms were clean & the price was cheaper than the other bigger hotels in the city, which made our stay more comfortable with their customer service. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

We have stayed here many times and since its located close to all the things we do its a cheap and easy way to save some monies. The carpets still suck but the pool, food and drinks were amazing. Stop by the bar and play some .05 C BJ.

We were in town this weekend for the NAB convention and found the Mardi Gras conveniently close to the convention center. It was only a short walk! The hotel itself is a bit older but it was very comfortable and accommodating. The receptionists Greisy and Maggie were extremely helpful during check in, even holding our luggage while we waited for our room to be ready. Its very much affordable as well! I would definitely book at Mardi Gras for our next visit to Vegas!

The staff here always is amazing, especially the swing bartender, Jeri, who truly has a heart of gold. Others, too, are extra-special, especially a Bulgarian slot attendant named Ivanna.

The food is expertly prepared and always a great value. Especially when you consider that it is steps away from the World Famous Las Vegas Convention Center.

The only con is the condition of the rooms. Come here for the people, the bar and the food and you will be thrilled.

Mardi Gras Hotel and Casino is a perfect example of how you can enjoy the Vegas experience on affordable budget.

Conveniently located one block away from the strip and certainly within walking distance.. the front desk agents including Rachel, Don, and Gio went above and beyond to accommodate me, and demonstrated fast, fun, and friendly customer service

This is one of the very few affordable hotels that has a direct view of the brand new billion dollar MGM’s Sphere from your bedroom window .

They’re swimming pool is in-closed for safety and they lobby even offers a Casino.

This just goes to prove you can have an amazing phasing experience with a breathtaking view at an affordable price !!

A little bit of a rough start when checking in. It's an older property and there was a problem with the door to my room. The guy at the front desk was a bit overwhelmed. But in the end it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Maintenance jumped right on it and took care of everything.

The grounds are maintained well. Pool is nice and family friendly. Mature olive trees. Clean/comfortable room.

I would definitely come back.

As a friend and I waited for our ride ( which took a long time) an employee (maintenance I think, not even a customer service position) handed us some bottles of water. We appreciate the kindness and I think it says a lot about how the property is run! I've stayed here several times and I have no complaints at all, especially considering the low total cost.

I had a very pleasant time here. Room was exactly like it showed for 2 Queen bed smoking room. Casino was small but not crowded. I won money there. Room was clean, no coffee in room, only a fridge. No microwaved. Beds could use replacing. The staff was super awesome. All of them. Very cozy friendly place. I'll stay there again. Only $6 a night resort fee. $25 a night deposit required. I wouldn't go out alone at night. Overall well worth the money.

This place hit every mark!

Amazing food and wonderful strong flavors!

I really enjoyed the look and feel of this restaurant, the atmosphere was amazing with big screen TV’S and gaming machines throughout the place .

The food is outstanding and the prices are very good .

Drinks were great also, with a wide variety to choose from .

Overall just outstanding and I will definitely return.

Unbelievable, incredible service from the attentive , informative server Lizzy .

Not only provided a great experience, delicious dishes but recommended some great sightseeing spots for our business trips in Las Vegas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a quaint little place! Full of Europeans and night owls. Not the usual slumped crowd you run into when you're out and bout in the middle of the night. The mirrors give an illusion of it being bigger which is good cause it's really small. Seemed the food and bar area was about the same size as the gambling area. The machines played good though and kept me entertained for a good while. I'll be back here for sure.

I can't comment on rooms as I have only come to the bar, but it's great. Love the onion rings (not too greasy) and happy hour pricing (50% off drinks). Oh, and locals always get 20% off food and drinks. The lobby is a mini casino (if you want that Reno vibe). Five cent keno, poker and black jack!

Mardi Gras Hotel is situated a few hundred meters away from the famous Las Vegas Strip and very close to the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is also just an 8-10 minute walk away from the Las Vegas Monorail system.

The check-in process took some time as there were many guests who arrived in the evening. We reserved a double room and it was spacious. Do not expect to see the vibrant colours & glamour as shown in the images. Bathroom amenities were provided, along with towels. The room was equipped with two double beds, a refrigerator, an iron, a tv and a few chairs. Free vehicle parking is available for the residents.

Bathroom was clean and hot water was available throughout without an issue. The sink which was situated outside the bathroom had a clogging issue towards the latter end of the stay, which was fixed by ourselves. A hot water kettle/coffee-maker would have been a better addition to the room.

Overall, it is an alright stay for what you pay in Las Vegas.

The hotel prices were very good. The wifi was a bit slow but that is to be expected in a large motel. The beds were a bit uncomfortable and the rooms did need a bit of dusting. It felt very musty especially in the air filter in the bathroom. But overall the stay was very comfortable and I would stay here again. Its walking distance from the convention center and monorail which was also very nice.

Decently quiet, great hostess, there's a pool and hot tub in the middle of the hotel which we loved! The rooms have the most unique setup I've ever seen, felt more like a studio apt than a hotel. Breakfast was nice too.

I enjoy Mardi grass me and my roommate go there to gamble and have fun. I enjoy the service the people we meet there always different people. The little bit of machines for gambling are fun especially coyote moon and wheel of fortune. I recommend if you like the HBO series true blood stop hype the cafe and have some food it's amazing and you can even enjoy the game that's on while you eat and play.

Nice hotel off the strip at a reasonable price especially when you want to do a quick getaway. Maybe the only thing is they had no microwave in the room but that's okay. Otherwise, a good place at a good price off the strip.

Had a very pleasant stay, the location is safe. Beds are big and comfy. Only downfall is that the rooms don’t have a microwave to warm up food but it does have a fridge. I loved staying here. My fiancé got me pregnant during our stay there as well

I was setup to think this was going to be a lot worse than we found it. I stayed here with my partner and found the hotel was great for the price we paid. Yes it is older and more dated and things are tired, but in general the hotel is mostly very clean, safe, pleasant staff and in a good area for getting the monorail into the main areas. Don't go in with high expectations but it is comfortable to stay in for a night or two!

My bf and I stayed here for 2 weeks in October 2023, and it was great!

The hotel itself is nice, definitely an older building, but I really enjoyed the charm of the place. We had breakfast every morning there, either in the restaurant or at the breakfast buffet when it was open, and the food was really excellent!

The customer service here was probably the best aspect of our trip. The front desk was always there to help with anything we needed, namely Rachel and Greisy, but everyone was so lovely.

Ricky, one of the servers at the restaurant, is absolutely the best! He was such a great server and a lovely person. We had some great conversations!

The pool in the center of the grounds is great, and the landscaping is done quite nicely too.

The rooms are very spacious, which was excellent, considering how long we stayed.

When I got here, there was a huge line outside the door for check in. It was hot and frustrating, plus , the restrooms were out-of-order…However, once inside, I noticed there were three check-in attendants at the register. The one that stood out the most was Andres. He rung up three clients to one from the other two attendants. I had to praise him for a Job Well Done! He was polite and took care of me efficiently. He wasn’t there to chit chat, but to keep the business running. I say, promote him and never let him go! THANK YOU, ANDRES!

The best part of this hotel was Tim the bartender. Your legend my friend and I'm grateful to have met you. I'm the lady from Washington. You are the expert in Las Vegas Mai Tai's. I didn't get to say goodbye but I'll never think of Vegas without you in it. A million thanks...

There is wonderful customer service here. All the staff are super helpful and friendly. The room was good size. Great prices. Only complaints are the pool was super cold. Even on 90 degree days and the elevator is a little scary. But, I would stay here again.

My brother and I stayed here for the WWWY festival. We have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The staff was friendly, the bar was great, and our room was perfect. We didn't utilize the restaurant on the property, so can give any reviews about it. I didn't even care that I wasn't on the strip because I could see the Sphere right outside my window! The area is quiet with no issues other than the occasional horn honk. I'd definitely stay here again. Note: I see a lot of comments about the hotel's cleanliness.. other than the cigarette smoke in the lobby from the casino, I didn't feel any issues. I'm an avid traveler and get grossed out easy by rooms and there was nothing in our room that made me feel any negativity.

It is a modest hotel, clean bathroom, clean sink area, clean dinning area, descent beds, a pool. I would definitely recommend to someone that just needs a bed to sleep, place to shower while visiting Las Vegas. HAVING A MICROWAVE would be great. It is a 3 level building so you don't get a city view, but on the other hand everything is 15 minutes away. It was quite at night and always find a parking spot. Do not have a comment about the employees because there was almost no contact with them (no need). GREAT PRICE for being there on a holiday weekend (no more than $60 per night)

Love staying here. Maria is so friendly. We look forward to seeing her every year. Breakfast is great. Once you start coming here, you will keep coming back. Went to a large hotel on strip the first year then we came the next year. Hands down love the more comfortable atmosphere Mardi Gras provides. Rooms are standard but always clean and roomy. I can honestly say I don't have one negative comment after all these years.

I've stayed here for events at the Las Vegas Convention center. Probably a total of 50 nights in 4 night clumps. The hotel is dated and I keep worrying that someone will repurpose the property. The rooms are clean, dining and room service are good. I avoid the casio, but then again I majored in statistics.

The room was good. The pool is good. However security and hotel staff don't do much about illegal drug use and rowdiness at the pool.

Fantastic Hotel. From the outside you would not think It but the rooms are definitely roomy. The pool is clean and well maintained. The food is delicious and the bartenders are great. A special shout out to Jerry who made me a fantastic martini and just had a very awesome personality and a contagious smile.

The rooms are spacious and more like suites than your typical hotel room. They could use some improvement when it comes to cleaning, but all in all, it is a great room for the price. Located close to the strip.Within walking distance, but beware of cops who constantly patrol Paradise Blvd if you drive in the area. The bar is quaint and the food is decent. The casino is outdated slot machines and they offer no table games.

You get what you Pay for Honestly. This off the Main strip, is real close to the Wynn of the strip and Fremont St. Great food and Cheap breakfast with 2 miles. I like the layout. little living room for single bedrooms. Some room separation for Two queen rooms and bar area with mini fridge. Walls are thin, so if you need silence to sleep go somewhere else.

This is my first night staying here the front desk staff was very friendly the room is very clean the bed is comfortable and the pillows are nice and soft the TV works good and the air conditioning blows nice cold air. They offer happy hour and appetizers till 2:00 a.m. on Saturday evening. If this week goes well this will be a place that I would stay at again. Not to mention it's very affordable it's not like your typical hotel that you would stay on the strip where you pay resort fees.

This hotel is couple of miles from las Vegas strip. Rooms we clean and comfortable beds. Two queen beds. Red enough parking just close to the rooms. There is swimming pool. Room had refrigerator but no microwave oven. If you are on budget travel this place is a nice choice. Check in process was also smooth. Not sure why there are so many one star reviews. But this place is good.

The check-in and check-out are both quick and easy. Parking is also not a problem. Looking for your room may get a little bit confusing if you've never been there but the staff will provide a map, anyway. The amenities are generally okay, though they could still be improved. The only thing that may make you feel a bit uncomfortable is that, you could hear some noisy neighbors from inside your room, but that could be bearable.

When visiting the Sphere in Las Vegas this hotel is within reasonable walking distance. The staff is fantastic and went beyond duties to accommodate our group. Cleaning lady Maribel hooked us up with extra towels and toiletries. Buffet lady Maria is the best ever, friendly and down to earth makes your buffet breakfast even better. The manager Rachel, wow! Friendly, professional, courteous. The staff at this hotel in Vegas treated us like a 5 star hotel and made me want to return here over other hotels on the strip. Thank you.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were accommodating. They even had free bottled water in the rooms. The room was nice and clean for the most part. The bathroom was clean. The carpet near the bed looked like it had cigarette burns in it and I thought I was in a no smoking room...other than that the visit was great and I will be returning.

This hotel was not bad at all. Clean rooms for the most part. Refrigerator provided. No microwave. Not a fancy hotel but it does the job. They provide free shuttle service further into the strip, which is great. About 12 minute drive to get to the main strip (25 minutes if you are a walker). They weren't very expensive and the service was not bad. I would stay at this hotel again.

I'm not sure why I like this place.

I met my girlfriend of 14 years there. I shouldn't be happy at all about goin to this establishment. Not only did I loose a bunch of money gambling here.

I lost my own freedom of thought, respect, values, and honor. Thanks for being so helpful.

For an inexpensive Vegas hotel off the strip, it was a good bargain. Rooms are well kept. The staff is helpful and friendly. Good amenities, plus the pool area is fun and the bar had good food.

I was there only one day but my room was ok in the cleanliness dept I didn't see any bugs or experience any thing out of the ordinary instead it was quiet and calm I was content. I'd stay again. I will say this though they could use a renovation cause it needs a lil bit of life in there maybe put kitchenette and newer sheets too!

I already stayed here 5 separated times to cover the Sema Show event, the hotel is a less than 5 minute walk to the convention center. Service is usually OK, rooms are big but not the cleaniest. You pay a price and receive a product correspondent to that. I will stay there again in the future for sure.

I was here on August 2, 2022, front desk Joey was very helpful and good with accommodations , very friendly. Went to the bar Liz welcome us with great smile, told us about happy hour, offer us food menu. The rooms where very clean. The English guy Terry laundry was awesome. Best place for a vacation.

I came for a business trip and unfortunately my last residency was poor so I had to quickly relocate for the weekend. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. When I got to the room it was more than perfect for what I needed. My main concern was roaches being in the roach season but the cleanliness was good. Though it’s not a 5 star cleanliness hotel it more than met my needs.

This hotel looks as old one. Not too old but not modern and you feel some kind of strange with furniture and design of rooms. If you say not clean- I agree. Because, mostly they (in Las Vegas) sold to us cheap products for higher price. Maybe they (hotel owner-operators) think that is more than enough for them (people from west or east cost). But level of service is too far from average in the US.
Blake J
1 2 3 4 5
Had a nice stay. The rooms are definitely dated, but it does give it a cute charm. Some cleaning has been over looked but in places you don't really look (under the bed, behind the nightstand) Service was great, everyone was friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a trip to get to the strip but with the monorail 3 blocks down definitely helps. The pictures of the casino are a bit deceiveing, looks decent but in reality there are maybe 30 slot machines. I pool area looked nice but didn't use it. Didn't like the fact that there are no safes in the room.

The $11.95 continental breakfast buffet wasn't worth it.

The place is priced right though; so if you're looking for a budget friendly safe option to just sleep at I would recommend it.

This is our go to place when we come to Vegas for the conventions. The rooms are extra large and there's plenty of tablespace For working. The beds are very comfortable And the showers work well. The staff is always friendly And helpful. The little Cafe Has a decent Menu that is just what we need, Breakfast, lunch and dinner. I feel this Hotel is Underrated because it's a little bit older but they have done so much to improve the Facility that It's a great bargain if you give it a chance.

I've paid to park my vehicle here a few times while flying from the airport and decided to get a room after a late flight this last trip. For the price paid, this was worth every penny. Way cheaper than any other room in the area, and a decent size room too. (Prices are cheaper online with promo code listed on their site) Yes it could be cleaner, and the amenities are not all there but it was great for me traveling alone. For example only 2 pillows, one chair, etc. The kitchenette area has enough room for plenty of appliances but only has a mini fridge. If I came back here to visit the strip, I would definitely consider bringing my own hotplate or something to cook on as there is the space for it. The only bad part about this hotel would be the location. My Uber driver wanted me to find another hotel and didn't think I'd find this place to be safe due to the motel-style room entrances being on the outside of the building. Overall there is plenty of lighting outside the rooms and a gate surrounding the parking lot, and as a general rule, just be aware of your surroundings. I had no problems and will probably stay here again for my next late flight

If you are looking for a more cost efficient spot right off the strip, search no further than the Mardi Gras!! My friends and I stayed there over this past weekend, and not only was the room solid and the food good, but their bar staff was AMAZING!! Thank you Tim, Jerrie, and Liz for the hospitality. We absolutely appreciated spending time with you during our vacation. This staff is friendly and professional. 10/10 would stay there again!!

Great place off the strip for quiet fun. The hotel provides tasty food for low prices and the staff are wonderful! There is a monorail close by to hop onto the strip or it's a 2 mile beautiful scenery walk. We did both and it was worth it!
