Airport Plaza Hotel (ROA)

The price point was great being that it is right off of interstate and near airport..the staff were short handed but you would never know it, Billy & Virginia kept everything running smoothly and never missed a beat if we ever needed anything they made it readily available or was able to tell us where we could find it! Those 2 kept the place running & were AWESOME! The room was spacious & was set up like a little apartment so it met our needs perfectly! For 1 of the cheaper hotels around the rooms, service, and staff were wonderful!

I saw some of the reviews below and had to see for myself. I am on day three of six. I have NO complaints. The staff is very polite. The place is super pet friendly. My room was clean, it did NOT smell. The AC in my room was cold when I entered. The fridge and microwave work great. I would definitely stay here again if need be.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and safe clean place to stay. They do have smoking rooms so you may be able to smell it slightly in the halls, but my non smoking room was exactly that. The pool is not currently operating, but that doesn’t take away from any aspect of my stay. 😊😊😊😊😊

Place Come a long way over last few years awesome staff for most part maybe they could possibly decide to provide kinda like a Lyft/Uber/taxi to grocery store n convenient store

The staff was more than friendly and helpful. They let us extend our stay while we looked for a new place in the area. The place could use Renovation but overall our stay was just fine. We will be forever grateful for the kind staff!

First and foremost because of the customer service. Second, the room is wonderful. The sheets are clean, it is newly remodeled, the bed is large, they even provide coffee in the morning unlike a lot of hotels nowadays. It is a safe environment and I understand that there may have been some issues in the past but they are definitely working through them period not only that they have even changed their sign in the last few months in response to some of the concerns. Let's give these people a break, give them our business, and help them continue their path . God bless you all and God bless them for giving my dog and a safe place to stay.

Had arrived in Roanoke very late in the night, and very easy and only 5 minutes wait for hotel to pick me up from the airport. Very courteous and accommodating. Because it was so late, and a lot of eating place were closed/food delivery service wasn't available that time of night, the hotel manager, was very gracious in offering to take me to anywhere I wanted to get food, and any other staples I may need. Very hospitable staff and stay.

Enjoyed my stay at carla inn and suites. Nice safe location for a low price. Bill made us feel welcome and he was pleasant for conversation. Will definitely be back!

Paid for parking at the hotel for about two weeks and they were very accommodating with the charges to the dates/times I made. Staff was very polite and friendly

After the hotel I originally screwed me out of reservation and turned out to be much dirtier of a place than they advertised ( I am talking about the EXTENDED STAY AMERICA) I was on a last-minute hunt for place to stay and came across the Carla. While not a pretty place I was taken care of by staff and the room was better than you would expect - as good , if not better than THE EXTENDED STAY AMERICA! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in a clean place and save some money.

Good Hotel right next to the airport , but no jet noise which is great , it is a two star very basic hotel may be in the same tier as red roof inn or motel 6 but actually better , very clean room I can tell they put much effort into cleaning it and washing linens, if you are looking for a quiet comfortable and safe place and not too expensive , amazingly helpful staff that you can tell they put their heart into it this is a great place, but if you are looking for a luxury hotel for a honeymoon or something it might not be the ideal choice , it will also be great for you if you are in town for work or business and need to save , I will certainly be back .

We use this location to house our clients that's in one of our programs. This location has been the easiest to house our clients very easy to work with compared to other places we've tried to use.

Shout-out to Alex and the rest of the staff for making our stay comfortable! They are currently renovating the hotel to improve the guest experience. I can't wait to see everything they have in store for the near future and will definitely stay here again soon!

excellent location, super helpful staff and room is clean and updated it had a nice big flat screen tv and good speed wifi , I will return here on my next trip to roanoke

i recommend this motel . due to its better then my car for one. the people so friendly here . the beds are comfy. it's quiet here unlike some others. I wish people not complain and respect the motel as if it was holiday inn or anywhere else. people burning holes in blankets and on the tub. then complain it's run down. why we don't have cheap places to go to. motels have to continually buy new stuff because careless people and that makes prices higher. keep up the good work employees of Carla Inn . I will definitely be back. ( updated my review for a reason)

The cheap price for the trip we were taking is what had me book this hotel. I was curious to see how it would be next to the airport. No air traffic noise at all. The parking lot looked normal and was decently lit up at night. The lobby was contemporary, but could've used some new paint. Overall it was fine for what it was. The desk clerk was friendly and courteous to the people in my group. The hallways of the hotel smelled of your general mix of smoke and "idk" but it wasn't overwhelming. The rooms though were nice. The ones we had were modern and clean. The beds were comfy and the shower was nice. Only thing I'd critique here is that they missed providing washcloths in both rooms we had. The hotel was quiet and not much happened which was good. For the price, this place is a good stay.

the customer service was better then alot of places we have stayed and staff here were very accommodating and really nice. had some good conversation with them. we have 3 dogs and for most hotels they wont allow that and was super happy they did.
