The NASCAR Cup Series Championship is today, Sunday, November 8, 2026, at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The speedway's weekend schedule lists the race at 3:00 p.m. ET, parking lots opening at 8:00 a.m. and spectator gates opening at 10:00 a.m.
All parking at the track needs a paid pass. The speedway's parking page says "Free parking is not available on site." It does not publish a price. Passes are sold through the speedway's Ticketmaster parking page. The only general lot the speedway says may sell passes today is Lot 4, and only "until capacity is reached."
The race airs on NBC and HBO Max, per NASCAR.com's TV guide.
If you are driving there in the next few hours
| What | What the speedway says |
|---|---|
| Lots open | Sunday, November 8: all lots open at 8:00 a.m. |
| Spectator gates | 10:00 a.m. at Gates A, B, C and D |
| Pre-race concert | 1:00 p.m. (Jason Derulo, frontstretch) |
| Driver introductions | 2:15 p.m. |
| Race | 3:00 p.m. ET |
| Arrival advice | The fan guide says "Arrive 4 to 5 hours early" and adds that for a 3:00 PM race you should plan to arrive by 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. |
Worked numbers: a 3:00 p.m. race minus the fan guide's 4 to 5 hours means getting there between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. If you read this after 11:00 a.m., expect to park later and walk or ride a tram further. Allow extra time at the gate.

Routes the speedway publishes for the main lots
These come from the speedway's lot-by-lot directions. Officers and signs override them.
- Lot 4: Take Exit 2 from Florida's Turnpike toward Campbell Drive / SW 312th Street. Turn right onto SW 152nd Avenue, left onto SW 328th Street, then right onto SW 142nd Avenue and follow signs.
- Lot 5 (ADA) and Lot 6: Travel south on Speedway Boulevard, turn right onto SW 328th Street, left onto SW 142nd Avenue, then left onto SW 336th Street.
- Lots 1, 2 and 3: Travel south on Speedway Boulevard and follow signs and attendants to the turn for your lot. The speedway does not name the cross street for Lots 2 and 3.
Disabled parking and accessibility
The parking page lists Lot 5 as reserved ADA parking. It requires a state-issued accessible placard or license plate, offers ADA transportation, and says parking "may be purchased in advance or on event day, based on availability." The speedway's accessibility page adds that the person the pass was issued to must be in the car, and that Lot 5 passes are bought by phone at 866-409-7223. Free disability assistance carts can be requested at 305-230-5077.
Rideshare, taxis and trams
The speedway names one official rideshare pickup and drop-off: near Lot 8, at the intersection of Alex Muxo Jr. Boulevard and Speedway Boulevard. Its directions say to take the final southbound exit from Florida's Turnpike toward Palm Drive / SW 344th Street, turn left onto SW 142nd Avenue, then turn right at the water tower. The speedway's fan guide lists free trams, including a Red Tram with Speedway Boulevard and Lot 8 pickup points. We did not find a published public bus or event shuttle service for the weekend. Rideshare fares and wait times are not published, so treat them as unknown.
RVs and camping
The speedway's homepage says 2026 camping "is no longer available." RV and tent holders follow the route in their arrival packet, according to the parking page.
Leaving after the race
The fan guide says "Exit times can exceed 60 minutes at the checkered flag." It suggests waiting 30 to 45 minutes after the finish, watching the celebration on the frontstretch, and setting your Waze destination before the race ends. Disability carts may not run for 30 to 45 minutes after the finish while foot traffic clears. If the race starts at 3:00 p.m. and runs about three hours, a 30 to 45 minute wait puts you on the road a little after 6:30 p.m. That is our arithmetic, not a speedway figure. Race length varies with cautions.
Watching instead of driving
NASCAR.com's TV guide lists a 2:00 p.m. ET pre-race show on NBC and the 3:00 p.m. championship race on NBC and HBO Max.
Tickets are separate from parking
A parking pass does not get you into the grandstand. The speedway sells grandstand admission separately. Resale marketplaces such as TicketSales and Vivid Seats are resale sites, not the speedway, and their prices are not parking prices. We could not read a live TicketSales price this morning, so we are not quoting one.
Need a seat for the race?

Flying in for a race weekend
If you are flying in, we have rates for Miami International Airport parking and Fort Lauderdale airport parking. Those are airport lots, not parking at the track.
What stays true after today
- The speedway's parking and directions page is where it posts lot hours, lot descriptions and routes for each event.
- The speedway's homepage lists the next Championship Weekend as November 12 to 14, 2027, and offers a presale sign-up for 2027 camping.
- Expect the same pattern at any big event there: a paid pass, lots that open hours before the race, and a long wait to leave.
