Philadelphia’s multi-purpose venue, the Wells Fargo Center, hosts an array of sports games and other events and shows. It’s home to the NHL Philadelphia Flyers, the NBA Philadelphia 76ers, and the NLL Philadelphia Wings. The arena is placed in South Philly, at 3601 S Broad St, Philadelphia, PA 19148. Surrounded by a couple of other major venues and multiple lots, the Wells Fargo Center offers plenty of car parking options. Our guide will take you through all of them and give information on the Wells Fargo Center parking rates and alternatives. Discover where to find the most convenient parking spot or how to use public transit to get to the arena!
Official Wells Fargo Center Parking Lots
If searching for convenient parking at the Wells Fargo Center, you can choose from eight event parking lots placed around the arena. Most of them provide a general self-parking service, while E Lot and Broad Street Lots offer reserved parking. In total, there are over 6,000 parking spaces on-site. >>Reserve on Vivid Seats. See the following map to find the location of each short-term parking lot:
Rates vary, and the Wells Fargo Center parking price starts at approximately $20. The map also shows the Xfinity Live parking area, which is located at 1100 Pattison Avenue and provides valet parking. It’s a 7-minute walk away, and the cost for most sports events is $22. The arena’s official website recommends pre-booking through SpotHero—which offers a “Closest To The Exit” Lot for $29—but we suggest using Vivid Seats. It has a wider selection of options for all hockey and basketball games. Reserve Wells Fargo Center parking in advance to get the best deal!
If you don’t make a reservation, pay on the spot using any major credit card or Apple/Google Pay. Note that, in this case, the parking rate will most certainly be higher. This applies to all upcoming games, including Orlando Magic at Philadelphia 76ers, New York Islanders at Philadelphia Flyers, Carolina Hurricanes at Philadelphia Flyers, etc.
The arena offers convenient ADA parking areas near the east, west, and south entrances. If you need such a spot, an attendant will direct you to the closest available section, which is usually in Lot C or D. To utilize it, a guest needs a valid disabled parking permit or license plate. The drop-off zone is in front of each entrance for easy access if you want to stop and drop off a passenger before proceeding to your spot.
Parking Near the Wells Fargo Center
If you’re trying to lower your costs, several alternatives are available within walking distance, but free parking is extremely hard to find. In addition to the Wells Fargo Center, the Sports Complex consists of Lincoln Financial Field and Citizens Bank Park, which also provide event parking services. Prices vary depending on the event, but you may find out general information in the following guides:
The Jetro Lot, situated at 3899 S. Darien Street, is one of the most popular parking structures in the area. Its online parking fee for the Wells Fargo Center events is $19. Alternatively, you can park near a subway station and then use public transit to get to the arena. If you live outside Greater Philadelphia, this option won’t be significantly cheaper than official parking, but it’s a cost-effective choice for all city residents.
Public Transportation to the WFC
Using public transit will allow you to avoid traffic jams and certainly reduce your costs if you live in the area. The Wells Fargo Center is a 6-minute walk from the NRG Station, which is served by the Broad Street Line. This is the best route to all games at the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, and the SEPTA also offers a Sports Express service for major events. Bus lines 4 and 17 stop at the NRG Station as well. Use the SEPTA’s Trip Planner feature to map out a travel plan without any hassle. The fare is as low as $2, while seniors are entitled to free rides!
The arena’s website doesn’t provide up-to-date information on tailgating, but you can grab a drink before a Philadelphia Flyers or 76ers game in a nearby bar. The Xfinity Live complex is a short walk away and offers multiple dining and entertainment options. If you’re a beer lover, we suggest visiting Victory Beer Hall, a bar that specializes in craft beers.
