The Franklin Institute Parking
The museum and center of science education, The Franklin Institute, features many exhibits and accommodates the Benjamin Franklin National Memorial. Built in the 19th century in Philadelphia’s Center City, the building is accessible by car and public transit system. Garage Parking at Franklin Institute
The official Franklin Institute parking garage is placed at 271 North 21st Street, near the intersection of 21st and Winter Streets. It charges $20 per car per day.

Street Parking Around the Institute
Many metered parking spots are available in the neighborhood. The hourly rate is $2 on most streets, and kiosks accept several payment methods. Street regulations vary according to the location, and the time limit is two to three hours. Read all the posted signs carefully and follow the rules to avoid getting a parking ticket.
Public Transportation Options
Many SEPTA trains stop at Suburban Station, a 10-minute walk away from the building. The 22nd Street and 19th Street rail stations are nearby and are served by the following routes: 10, 11, 13, 34, and 36.
Bus riders can take SEPTA buses 7, 32, 33, 38, 48, and 49 to visit The Franklin Institute. Also, the Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop buses stop at the close-by Market St. & 18th St. stop.
