Solitude Mountain Resort is a small ski resort approximately 30 miles away from Salt Lake City, Utah. It’s located in the Big Cottonwood Canyon, within a few-minute drive of Brighton. Solitude will please all the skiers while also offering a lot of fun summer activities. With an array of lodging, dining, and parking options, each visitor will have a hassle-free vacation! Solitude Mountain Resort Parking in a Nutshell

When searching for safe public parking spaces, Solitude visitors have two options.

  • Moonbeam Day Parking is the main lot with access to the Moonbeam base area and various other amenities. 
  • Lodging & Village Parking is near accommodations, shops, and dining options.

How Much Is Parking at Solitude Ski Resort?

While accessible parking stalls are free of charge, the Solitude parking cost for other guests varies based on the number of passengers.

How To Pay for Solitude Resort Parking

Paid parking lots have solar-powered kiosks, which are easy to use and make the process fast and painless. Ask an attendant for a discount code if your vehicle has more than one occupant, and then take the following steps.

  1. Enter your license plate number.
  2. Add your credit/debit card information.
  3. Press OK to get the receipt.

Alternatively, you can take advantage of the new, paperless Tap N Ski system and pay by scanning any QR code sign around the lots.

Get a Season Parking Pass

If you plan to spend a few weeks at the resort or visit it several times throughout the ski season, getting a Solitude parking pass is the best choice! Two kinds of season parking passes are available for purchase, but none allow overnight parking.

How To Appeal or Pay Solitude Parking Tickets

Staying away from citations is easy—conform to parking regulations or pay for parking and leave your vehicle with peace of mind. If you receive a ticket or you already did, there are two options.

  1. Dispute your Solitude parking ticket online within ten days of the issuance date.
  2. Pay the citation online or mail a check to the following address: Park Solitude, P.O. Box 7369, Breckenridge, CO 80424.

Since initial violations are $75 and can increase to $100, we suggest that you pay attention to where you park and avoid unwanted charges!

Where To Find Free Parking at Solitude

Free Solitude ski resort parking is available at the Nordic & Snowshoe Center. Since it’s limited and obtainable on a first-come, first-served basis, we recommend early arrival. During the winter season, shuttles run daily between the Solitude Nordic Center and the Lodging & Village parking lot. UTA Ski Bus route 972 also runs to the center from Moonbeam Lodge.

Another way to get complimentary parking is by staying at The Inn at Solitude or Solitude Mountain Resort Lodging. Each guest receives free spots for all vehicles in their group. In fact, all Solitude Mountain Resort properties offer a free parking service, and you can get your voucher at the front desk.

Transportation Alternatives: Shuttles & Rentals

Avoid long drives and Solitude parking expenses by booking a shuttle to Solitude Mountain Resort! SLC is approximately 30 miles from the resort, and Utah Mountain Shuttle offers airport transfers for up to 14 passengers.
