In addition to a convention center, a shopping mall, and the Hyatt Regency Hotel, the Central Bank Center complex in downtown Lexington also includes Rupp Arena. It’s home to the American college basketball team called the University of Kentucky Wildcats. The arena hosts various concerts and shows and offers plenty of car parking spots for thousands of visitors. Our guide is here to help you find a Rupp Arena parking space that fits both your needs and your budget. You’ll discover on-site and off-site parking options, rates, and low-cost alternatives, such as public transit.
Rupp Arena Parking in a Nutshell
Official event parking is obtainable across the street from Rupp Arena, but thousands of parking spaces are also available within short walking distance of the venue. Here are all your options:

How Much Is Parking at Rupp Arena?
While the non-event daily parking fee is $12, short-term rates in the High Street Lot vary on arena event days. Depending on the occasion, you can get a Rupp Arena parking pass for approximately $15 to $20. RV parking is also available in the lots located across from the venue, and the standard parking rate for oversized vehicles is $30. Note that overnight parking is prohibited.
How Much Is Street Parking Near Rupp Arena?
Metered parking is an adequate substitute for the surrounding parking lots, and it’s available on multiple streets near Rupp Arena. Most city parking meters are in effect from 8 AM to 5 PM on weekdays. The hourly parking cost is $1 Monday through Friday, while free parking is available on weekends! Although most meters accept dimes, nickels, and quarters, some of them allow credit cards, too.

Where To Search For Accessible Parking
The most convenient parking area for guests with disabilities is the High Street parking lot, right across from the venue. Note that all facilities demand a state-issued disability parking placard or license plate from each guest.
