  • Each time slot is 60 minutes, and you must enter the museum within that time frame
  • Once you enter the building, you are allowed to stay as long as you like
  • A maximum number of tickets per order is six

Boston Street Parking

Want to look for a convenient on-street parking spot? You can park on Museum Road until 6 PM—after that, metered parking spots are for residents only. If you head to Forsyth Way, note that parking isn’t allowed on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month between 12 PM and 4 PM. Please read the signs carefully to avoid getting a Boston parking ticket.

Public Transportation

MBTA allows you to get to the Museum of Fine Arts quickly and affordably! The Green Line E Train and the 39 bus can take you to the Museum of Fine Arts stop. The Orange Line train and CT2 buses stop at the Ruggles stop, which is a short walk away. A one-way fare for the subway is $2.40, while the local bus ticket price is only $1.70.
