Street Parking Availability
Metered parking is available on Hollywood Boulevard and many streets in the area. The cost on most is $1.50 per hour, while other parking restrictions vary according to the location and time of the day. Free parking is extremely hard to find, but you may find it after the meter hours.
For instance, the time limit on Hollywood Blvd. is two hours, while Yucca St. offers four-hour parking spots. So, reading the posted signs carefully is essential. If you fail to do it properly, you may end up with a pricey LA parking ticket.
Public Transportation Options
The Metro B Line runs connects North Hollywood to Union Station in Downtown Los Angeles, and multiple Metro stops are placed along Hollywood Blvd. The following Metro buses stop along the boulevard: 180, 206, 207, 212, 217, and 224. The one-way Metro fare is $1.75, while the one-day pass is only $3.50.
