Being conveniently located right across from the PIE Airport terminal building, this is the closest parking structure. You can access it from Terminal Blvd. via a new parking lot entrance. This self parking area is closed at the moment, but it will reopen soon.
This covered parking option is designed for short-term parking only - therefore, overnight parking is not allowed. The hourly parking rates are as follows: $2 for the first hour of parking and then $1 for each additional 20 minutes until you reach the maximum rate of $24.
If you’re looking for convenient parking close to the terminal, the long-term facility is a perfect choice. It is located south of the short-term parking area. When going down Terminal Blvd, take the first left turn to reach the long-term parking entrance.
The long-term parking structure is connected to the short-term one, so you will be able to quickly reach the terminal on foot. The hourly parking rates are the same as above: $2 for the first hour of parking and then $1 for each additional 20 minutes. The daily parking rate is $13.
St Petersburg Clearwater Airport parking provides two economy lots. The first and main lot is situated across Roosevelt Blvd on 46th Street. The second airport parking lot is on Fairchild Drive, and it is open only when needed. The latter parking lot accepts only major credit cards.
These parking lots are the cheapest public parking areas on-site. They are located farther away from the terminal than other parking facilities, but a free shuttle service runs approximately every 15 minutes to and from the lots. The maximum economy daily rate is $8.
The waiting area at PIE is located adjacent to the air traffic control tower. It is a few minutes away from the airport terminal, and it is the best temporary option for those picking up passengers. This free parking is available on a first come, first served basis. Note that vehicles cannot be left unattended, and curbside parking is not allowed.
Handicapped Parking/Accessible Parking is available in the long-term parking structure. To use the designated parking spaces, a passenger has to own a disabled parking permit or license plate. Standard parking rates apply.

The only cost-effective off-site parking option near PIE is hotel parking. In order to use this parking alternative, you have to spend a night in the hotel first.
