Valet Parking One of the newest parking services at ROC is the quick Airport Valet program. The Valet station is at the far end of the lower/Arrivals level, and all you have to do is leave your vehicle with the attendants. They will provide you with luggage assistance, and you will be free to go!

A one-time charge of $20 per visit applies, plus the following: $4 for up to 2 hours, $2 per each additional hour, and $16 as a maximum daily rate. This means that your daily parking rate for the first day would be $36, while each additional day cost will be $16.

Hourly Lot/Short Term This is an outdoor parking facility is designed for short stays, and we suggest that you use this lot when parking for a couple of hours. The daily price is quite expensive, and you can find much cheaper options for overnight parking.

It is located minutes away from the airport terminal building, and it is ideal for passengers who wish to see someone off or pick them up at the Arrivals level. The first hour is $2, after which you pay $1 per each additional 30 minutes until you reach the maximum daily rate of $24.

Garage Parking/Long Term The Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester parking garage is across from the terminal building, and it is the only self-parking structure where you can always find a covered parking space. Your car will be weather-protected, but you will also quickly reach the Departures level via the Level 2 skyway. The garage has elevators and stairways between levels for easy access, and it provides a free parking area for bicycles. The price for the first 2 hours is $4 and then $2 per each additional hour. The daily rate is $16 on Levels 1 and 2, or you can pay $14 per day if you park on the roof.

Weekly Parking Lot This outdoor parking structure has walk-in access to the terminal, which allows you to reach the Departures level within minutes. It is designed for extended stays, and although it is not the cheapest option, it is still quite affordable due to its proximity to the entrance. The hourly parking rates are available in this lot, too: $4 for the first 2 hours and $2 per each additional hour. The maximum daily cost is $12, but you will get a discounted weekly rate of $72 if parking for 1 week (the 7th day of the week is always free).

On-Airport Shuttle Parking Lot

Shuttle Parking is situated just off the airport terminal roadway and offers a suitable solution for passengers traveling on a low budget. After you enter the airport roadway, turn left on the first road, and the Shuttle Lot will be on your right. You can park oversized vehicles since it is a surface lot. It is farther away than the above-listed parking areas, so a free shuttle service is provided, and the airport shuttle buses operate 24/7 every 15 minutes. The hourly rate is $1, and the maximum daily rate is only $8.

Economy Shuttle Parking

This is the cheapest of all on-site overnight parking facilities and the best choice for people who want to reduce their expenses. It is situated on the corner of Buell Road and Brooks Avenue; turn right when you see the red airport sign that reads “Economy.” Having been the farthest parking area, the shuttle bus service circulates every 15 minutes to take you to the terminal entrance. Shuttles operate 24/7. The hourly rate is $1, while the maximum daily parking price is just $8. You can pay via cash or all major credit cards.

Smart Phone Lot

To avoid parking in front of the ROC terminal, the airport has the free Smart Phone Lot, which is actually the well-known cell phone lot. It is located off of Airport Way and offers free Wi-Fi and EV charging stations. Use this free waiting area to stay until the arriving passengers call you to pick them up. Note that vehicles cannot be left unattended.

Accessible Parking

Passengers with disabilities can use handicapped parking areas, which are available in all Greater Rochester Airport parking structures. You have to own a disabled parking permit or license plate to use these spaces. Handicap parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Standard parking rates apply.

Electric Vehicle Charging Stations

Charging stations for electric vehicles are available in the Smart Phone Lot, and you can use the station free of charge. Some nearby hotels have the EV stations, so you can check with yours if you have planned on staying a night.
