Reno Int’l offers several parking options. Are you searching for affordable economy lots or convenient garage parking? Don’t worry; you will find it in one of the following areas:
If you need a spot for a few hours, or if you’re just coming to pick up an arriving passenger, you should use this short-term structure. It is in the official RNO car park across from the main terminal building.
The short-term option is available on the first level only. People driving oversized vehicles should note that the height restriction on this level is 7’ 7’’. The hourly rate is $2 for the first 30 minutes, $3 for up to 1 hour, and then $2 for each additional hour. The maximum daily fee is $26.
Those looking for a long-term option or overnight parking should consider using this car park. It is not the cheapest structure, but it is the most convenient option at RNO. Your vehicle will be right across from the terminal and weather-protected at all times.
The long-term area is on the second and third levels. People driving oversized vehicles should note that the height restriction on this level is 8’ 2’’. The hourly cost is $2 for the first 30 minutes, $3 for up to 1 hour, and then $2 for each additional hour. The maximum cost is $16 per day.
This is the cheapest of all RNO facilities, so it is great for people traveling on a low budget. It is located just south of the official parking structure, so it is close to the terminal concourses, and you don’t need a free shuttle service to reach it.
This public lot provides almost 1,500 spaces. Being uncovered, it has no height restriction, so it is ideal for oversized vehicles. The short-term rates are the same - $2 for the first 30 minutes, $3 for up to 1 hour, and then $2 for each additional hour. However, the maximum daily parking rate is only $12.
The waiting area is on the National Guard Way. It is an easy drive from the terminal and the best passenger pickup option. This free area is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that vehicles cannot be left unattended.
Motorcycle Parking is free of charge and available 24/7 in the main garage (at the southwest corner).
Handicapped/Accessible Parking is available in all RNO structures (and on each level of the garage). To use the designated spaces, a passenger has to own a disabled parking permit or license plate. Standard rates apply.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations are situated in the main garage. There are 2 EV charging stations - one on the first and the other on the third floor.
We compare off-site and off-site options in the area, so you don’t have to, saving you time and money and making your decision about where to park much easier.
Since off-site garages and lots usually offer the best value, we looked into private companies near RNO that offer a more reasonably priced service for budget travelers. The following are the best ones with safe areas and free shuttles to the terminal:
Tip: The best way to get a good deal is to reserve a parking spot at Reno Airport as early as possible.
Most airports charge more for their on-site lots, so off-site services are almost always less expensive. We’ve compared all daily rates, and if you want to reduce your expenses as much as possible, look for parking spots at one of the above-listed off-site parking providers. If you need a long-term option, you can save quite a lot when going off-site.
