The main self parking lot is situated very close to the terminal building. Take your parking ticket at one of the automatic ticket dispensers and park the car. We suggest that you write down the exact location of your car so that you could quickly find it when you get back from your trip. Oversized vehicles are also allowed to park in this area.
This public parking structure is great for those coming to pick up arriving passengers but also for anyone who wants an overnight parking or long-term parking facility. The first 15 minutes are free of charge. After that, you pay $1 for up to 30 minutes, $3 for 31-60 minutes, $5 for 1-2 hours, $7 for 2-3 hours, and so on until you reach the maximum daily rate of $15.
The Cell Phone Lot is the best Kona Airport short-term parking area for those waiting to pick up someone since curbside parking is not allowed. It is located off the Keahole airport loop road (near the International Arrivals Building). You can use this free parking area for up to 1 hour, but note that vehicles cannot be left unattended.
