Helsinki Airport, also known as Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport, is the main one in Helsinki, the capital and most populous city of Finland. HEL is by far the busiest airport in the country. It’s around 11 miles from the city center and has several on-site parking services available to all airport passengers flying out of Helsinki:

  • P3 Premium is the most expensive Helsinki Airport parking structure placed a minute from the departure gates. It’s close to both airport terminals and offers covered parking spots. The parking rates are as follows: €12 for up to 2 hours, €18 for 2-3 hours, €24 for 3-4 hours, and €30 for up to 5 hours. The maximum daily parking rate is €36.
  • P3 is right next to Terminal 1 and approximately 450m to Terminal 2. It has both indoor and outdoor parking spaces. The hourly parking rates are equal to the P3 Premium prices for the first 4 hours, and then the daily rate of €26 applies. If going away on a week-long trip, you’ll get a discounted weekly parking rate and pay €11.30 per day.
  • P5 provides more affordable long-term parking very close to the terminal building. It’s a short walk away and has the same short-term parking rates as the P3 parking facility. However, passengers going on longer trips will get lower prices at P5 — €10.60 per day for a 7-day stay or €6.60 per day for two weeks of car parking.
  • P4A & P4B are two outdoor parking lots located about half a mile from the airport terminals. These Helsinki Airport parking structures are ideal for extended stays and have the most competitive rates. The drive-up parking rate is €13 for the first day. If you’re going on a week-long vacation, the cost will be €6.70 per day. A two-week stay is €4.20 per day.

Drivers who are coming to HEL to pick someone up or see them off can use a special P3 PIKA parking area for short stays. The parking rate is €1 per 10 minutes.

Accessible parking at Helsinki Airport is available in all car parks free of charge! Each passenger needs to own a disabled parking permit to use these spots.
