Fort Wayne International in Allen County has one terminal but several parking lots with plenty of parking spots for its passengers. The airport is currently working on a parking construction project, which will soon make the parking process at FWA much easier.
Short-Term Parking Lot
is placed directly opposite the airport terminal building. It is temporarily closed due to construction. The first 30 minutes are free, which is great news for people who are coming to pick up an arriving passenger. After that, you pay $2 for up to 60 minutes, and then $2 for every additional hour. The maximum daily parking rate is $14.
Long-Term Parking Lot
is also under construction, but a part of the lot is still open and available for short or extended stays. It is situated minutes away from the terminal and also provides 30 minutes of free parking. The hourly parking cost is $2, while the maximum rate is cheaper — it is $9 per day.
Economy Parking
offers the most reasonably-priced parking rates. After you enter the airport’s grounds, take the first left to enter the economy lot. Even though it is the most cost-effective for extended stays, the economy parking structure also gives you half an hour of free parking. The flat rate in this lot is $8, but if you stay for a week, the price will be around $6 per day.
Passengers with reduced mobility can use accessible parking spaces, located close to the terminal area. Note that parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and you have to display a disabled parking permit to use these spots.
