RAP Regional Airport provides a couple of public parking structures. They are located close to the airport terminal building and easily accessible on foot:
This is the cheapest self parking area at Rapid City Airport. It is a bit farther away from the terminal than the other parking structure, but you are still able to reach it quickly. To access the P1 parking facility, simply follow the airport parking signs.
There is no height restriction for this lot - so, it is ideal for oversized vehicles. It is also great for overnight parking and extended stays. The first 30 minutes are free of charge. The hourly parking rate afterward is $2, and the maximum daily parking rate is $10. The weekly discounted rate is $60.
The P2 parking lot is closer to the terminal building, and you can reach it within a couple of minutes. It is the best public parking option for those picking up passengers at RAP or looking for short-term parking. Look for this lot across from the terminal.
The first 30 minutes are free. Although the daily rate is higher in this lot, the hourly rate is more affordable. After the first 30 minutes, you pay $1 per half an hour until you reach the daily maximum rate of $14. The weekly parking rate is $98.
