As you can see on our map, the Amarillo Airport parking garage is placed directly in front of the airport terminal area. So, it’s the closest and most convenient car parking facility for short stays and long-term parking alike. The garage provides plenty of covered parking spaces. To reach the indoor parking structure, take the second exit to the left after leaving Airport Blvd. The first 15 minutes are free, and then the short-term rate applies — $2 per 30 minutes. The Preferred Parking lot at AMA is one of the two surface parking areas. It offers over 100 outdoor spots and gives quick access to the lower level of the airport terminal building. To get to the lot, turn left right past the garage (see the entrance on our map above). Preferred Parking is ideal for passengers who are coming to pick someone up or see them off since it provides 30 minutes of free parking service. After half an hour, drivers pay $2 every additional 30 minutes, while the maximum daily rate is $9.
As the cheapest Amarillo Airport parking area, Outdoor Parking is perfect for extended stays. But, due to its low hourly rate, it’s also great for short-stay parking. To reach this lot, take the first exit to the left after leaving Airport Blvd. The first 15 minutes are complimentary, while the hourly parking cost is $2. Drivers who are waiting for arriving passengers may use the Cell Phone Waiting Area, which provides complimentary parking. It’s a quick drive away from the terminal entrance, and you can enter this lot by taking the first exit to the right after leaving Airport Blvd. Note: you are not allowed to leave your vehicle unattended in the Cell Phone Lot.
