It is a small airport, you can check in your luggages, go through the security point, reach the gate all in 30 mins. But for sure you should go early just in case.

The TSA folks made it a breeze to clear through. They were very helpful, professional and gave clear instructions. I like the way they do business.
Can't say the same for the custodian staff. They kept the bathrooms locked down while they talked on their cell phones arranging a party.

Nice airport, updating the secured area, looks much nicer than my last visit 2 yrs ago. Security is easy to get through, thought they have some of their own rules (just annoying).... food options are limited, but not an airport you'll be sitting at to make a connection

I flew in for a three hour quick day trip. I was able to snag an earlier flight home only because this airport was amazing. No line at the rental car return, no line at the security and the airport and highways were empty. Fantastic quick trip!

Security was super fast! The only real issue with the airport is how the sun comes in so heavily through all of the windows. It's so much sun and get super hot in the summer!!

There is a business center with many outlets for laptop or cell phone use. The update at the gates gives a modem and clean look. TSA is quick and everyone is very nice and patient. The ticketing lines are manageable and quick if you’re checking in bags. I love this hub!

It's a very small airport. Car return with AVIS went well. Checking in with TSA was a breeze. No long lines. You may want to have lunch before coming here because there is not much to choose from to eat. There is a useful business center. Chargers are provided throughout, which becomes very helpful. Overall, nice experience.

Our pilot Andrew N. was amazing! For some reason, flights and planes had gotten mixed which created a big delay. I was sure I was going to miss my connecting flight but Andrew pulled all the strings to make sure I made it to my destination. He was patient, communicative, and empathetic to the stresses all the passengers were experiencing. Five stars to the pilot and crew!!! As far as the airport in general, plan buffer time as flights are frequently delayed or canceled.

The check in desk opens 1 hr before your flight so don't be in a rush to get to the airport. Rental car return is also nit open so use the drop box at the counter for keys. This is not a busy airport so lines are not long. The food court isn't open at 6am but the newsagent is and they have a keurig if you are desperate lol. There are vending machines throughout the terminal too.

Convenient and friendly. Sure wish there was somewhere to buy some coffee prior to early flights.
Mine left at 6:15am, and of course, couldn't bring anything through security. I'd even have used a vending machine for coffee.

I Love the airport. I Meet lots of people and I get too talk about Lubbock,Texas. I Especially talk when the cotton is white and beautiful. Some people have never seen cotton. They want too take pictures and play in the cotton. I just laugh!!! I LOVE MY HOME TOWN

Arrival & departure process @ Lubbock was really fast and efficient. Had the same wheelchair assistant both times and she was extremely curtious!! Most impressive definitely an asset to the company.
