Super small airport with easy in and out. One gate only.

Getting Uber was not easy.

Clean, efficient, and very friendly and welcoming staff. Cheaper for us to fly out of Butte than drive to Bozeman. Free parking

Small airport but real nice terminal and great people.



Cool crystal display along with Montana souvenirs, tasty food and drinks.

Best airport I’ve ever been to, & also the cutest! Bert Mooney is really UNIQUE to butte and I’m so glad Delta flys out of here! The airport staff and TSA agents are ALWAYS on top of it and always super nice to talk to. I always feeling a warm welcome coming home and a warm farewell when I leave! I love the 2 flights a day, sometimes I wish they had a 3rd in the morning at 7-9am, but I know sometimes seasonally they do this, it’s just wishful thinking of having that ADDITIONAL flight (😌😉😂) The CRJ900 aircraft was a HUGE UPGRADE TOO!

I’ve never rated an airport before but this one deserves recognition. Smallest airport I’ve ever been at with a single terminal! The staff were all so friendly and professional. A wonderful start and end to our trip to Montana. Very modern, clean facility as well.

Tiniest one terminal airport. Everything is miniature and cute 😄 haha. But they have a bar/restaurant dome vending machines and trinkets. Hertz and Avis for rental agencies. And it's overall personality gives a really unique vibe of the town it's in. Liked the mineral rock displays too.

Classy and rustic decor with a nice to local history. Small airport but then that means awesome parking location. Conveniently located at the south end of the city but not in Timbuktu like some small airports.

We had a car show at the air port, and it was amazing we watched a military helicopter and a C-130 take off!! It was a blast!! Can’t wait for next years show!!

I honestly have never had a better airport experience than here. Parking is free, security check is a breeze, and customer service is top-notch. The employee who checked my bag was friendly and made it simple, and the employee at the gate went above and beyond for me. I travel with a lot of camera gear, so I usually ask to make sure I can get my carry-on actually in the cabin with me, because I’ve had items broken when I’ve had to check. She switched me to another row so I’d have it all to myself, and the extra space would ensure my bag could stay with me. I get that at smaller airports, you can have more delays and issues with there being fewer planes and room for flexibility, but that wasn’t an issue for me today. So as far as I’m concerned, this was better than a 5-star experience!



Update: So my flight actually was delayed by about 2 hours, but it wasn’t anything the airport staff could have prevented. So I still stand by my review!

CTAF and a 9000 foot runway makes tbis a unique and amazing Montana Airport. Highly recommend flying in or put. Mountainous terrain in the area so plan appropriately and use charts and navigation aids to maintain situational awareness.

Wow. Best port around. Mr. Zappa's common hits and orchestral pieces are likely to be played in this highly respectable establishment.
