For 8 a.m. October 20 to 6 p.m. October 27, that comes to up to $88, while the four hotel lots ParkingAccess can book near BWI cost $58.98 to $76.09 with taxes and fees. The DoubleTree on Elkridge Landing Road was the cheapest at $58.98, up to $29.02 less than Long Term. If you live near a MARC stop, the train beats parking for most trips longer than a day: $8 each way between BWI and Washington.

BWI Marshall's own lots, rates and space counts
BWI runs four parking products: the Hourly Garage, the Daily Garage, Express Parking and Long Term Parking, which is two lots, A and B. Long Term is the cheapest at $11 a day, and BWI says its price is all-inclusive, with no hidden fees.

All the shuttles run 24/7, and the Long Term shelters show real-time arrival times for the next bus. Both Long Term lots sit off MD 162 (Aviation Blvd.) between South Camp Meade Road and Andover Road in Linthicum. If a lot fills and closes, BWI sends drivers to another lot at its posted rate.

MARC train or a lot at BWI Marshall?
A MARC Penn Line ticket between BWI and Washington's Union Station costs $8 each way, so a round trip is $16, less than two days in Long Term ($22). Two travelers pay $32, still less than three days of Long Term ($33).
- Other fares from BWI: $6 to Baltimore Penn Station and $7 to New Carrollton, per MTA's Penn Line fare chart, in effect since June 27, 2021.
- Sundays: the Penn Line runs on weekends. On Sunday, October 25, six trains leave BWI for Washington between 9:15 a.m. and 6:20 p.m., reaching Union Station in 40 to 45 minutes.
- Weekdays: 27 trains a weekday run toward Washington from BWI, 9 on Saturdays.
- Station to terminal: BWI's free shuttle links the MARC/Amtrak station and the terminal 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It drops you near your airline's check-in counter; coming home, catch it outside baggage claim on the lower level, at one of four stops.
What BWI's live space counts showed on October 5
At 2:08 p.m. on Monday, October 5, BWI's five public lots and garages had 13,397 of 24,825 spaces free, 54%. The Daily Garage was the emptiest at 73% free, and the Hourly Garage the fullest, with 35% free.
We also checked hotel-and-parking packages for one night on October 19 with parking through October 27. Of the eight package hotels listed, only the Clarion near BWI had rooms, at $143.81 for the hotel night and parking together, taxes and fees included.
