It's a great small airport. Always easy to get around, nice and clean and the TSA folks are the nicest ones around. If there is a line, the TSA crew works fast and efficiently to keep it moving.

We picked up someone today, June 4, and there was a line of 10-12 cars. The line moved well and we had no problems with luggage or traffic.

Very small. I had an early flight so the Cafe wasn't open yet. Security was quick and professional. Easy in and out for pick-up and drop-off. Overall great experience.

This airport is incredibly small. It only flies to DFW through American. Showing up super early is not necessary as they don't have anyone at customer service until 1 hour before boarding. TSA is similar as they don't open up until about an hour prior to boarding. TSA is small and is very quick. They operate a little differently due to technology limitations. There's nothing to do in this airport and the post TSA is significantly smaller than pre. There's a coffee?shop here but I've never seen them open. Post TSA has 2 vending machines and that's about it. Overall, always a good experience at this airport. If there's ice/snow, expect delays and cancellations. Very peaceful and quiet airport.

The ABSOLUTE BEST customer service I've ever received at an airport. I missed my flight, and when I called American Airlines, they wanted to charge me 400+ to get the next flight. I showed up, and the agent in Abilene got me on the next flight with no charge in minutes.

Small regional airport is easy to navigate & a dream to fly out of. Highly recommend. (I recommend bringing your own snacks if you need them as only a vending machine is available after you clear security. Small café is available before security).

This is a small Regional airport. But I had a great experience. There were no lines and the baggage check process was very smooth. All of the crews were respectful and willing to help. The lady cleaning the bathroom even allowed me to use the restroom before she was done cleaning. I enjoyed my experience flying out from here.

And truly small airport with one destination, Dallas. The people are good and the workers were very helpful! If you don't want to drive to Abilene, I'd definitely say, suck up the price tag and fly into Abilene Regional Airport!!

I'm giving a five star today because Mateo was incredibly helpful and did his best to make our day the most convenient. We usually get the "Ask Dallas if they can help you when you're there" but Andre and Mateo have helped me before. It may be a small airport but good customer service really makes people's day. The TSA and ticket agents that worked 11/24/21 for the 6:39pm flight at Abilene Regional Airport are the most AMAZING and most AWESOME people. I lost my phone and wasn't able to contact the person that had it. They went out their way to help me get my phone before my flight took off. Now that was some AWESOME customer service..

4/20/23 my flight, along with several others. were rerouted here from our destinations because of inclement weather. Ended up being grounded at ABI for the night. The staff stayed with us, fed us, provided blankets and cots. Really went above and beyond to ensure our comfort during the unexpected. Can’t tell you how much that is appreciated.
