The hotel has been remodeled to look more modern in the lobby. The rooms looked updated but not modern. The bed wasn't super comfortable but not terrible. They have a nice pool and jacuzzi and the trees make it seem very private and like a resort even though you are right by the highway. Because of the rain, some kind of rain bugs came into the room through the AC unit. They didn't have any more rooms to switch me so then sent a kind gentleman who came and cleared the room of the bugs. Not a perfect stay but very kind and helpful staff. The lady who checked us in was so sweet and even suggested a local restaurant. I would definitely return again.

Staff is wonderful. Bed comfy. Close to lots of things but have to drive. No breakfast included, sad. Shuttle available to meet cruise ship.
