Let me say I'm careful picking a hotel around airports, especially Newark. This Hampton inn was only three stars but I didn't want to spend over 200 bucks. Most places around here are quite expensive. The room is fantastic. It may have just been remodeled but it's lovely. Don't let the price and 3 stars turn you away.

Very close to Newark Airport. Very spacious clean & neat room with equally spacious bath & toilet. Only minor setback is water will flow from bath area to other parts of the bath/toilet room. Bath water insulation needs improvement. Otherwise, excellent! Staff very friendly.

I had a very comfortable stay at the Hampton Inn, Newark. The hotel is we maintained with clean rooms. I did have a bit of a problem with the bathtub drainage which was promptly rectified by Jose the maintenance guy. The Inn provides breakfast and round the clock tea and coffee downstairs in the lobby. They also have a free shuttle service to Liberty Airport and ample free parking. I was impressed by the staff, Julia, Valentina and Margarita who handled the breakfast service, Deepesh (front desk) and of course Jose. They were always pleasantly smiling and very helpful and professional. My thanks to them for making my stay very comfortable.
