For the main purposes of staying at a hotel, it's nice, quiet, clean, and cost-effective.
Cons:
The parking lot was not engineered with parking in mind...it's cramped and may require a 5 point turn to get where you're going to park. Also, the parking stalls are designed for compact cars. Good luck!
Hampton Inn Miami Airport West is about 20 minutes from the airport in Doral, and has a shuttle that runs every hour on the hour from the hotel to the airport. The area is nice and quiet and they have plenty of parking if you drive. If you rely on the shuttle then remember there is not a lot around the hotel in terms of food and shopping. The hotel has recently been refurbished and has a good standard. There is a nice outdoor pool and a small gym. On the ground floor there is a small business centre and a guest laundry. The rooms are a good size with power sockets around the bed. The breakfast is nice and fresh. Overall a good budget hotel close to the airport
Clean and well maintained. Would have been nice if information was provided that airport shuttle was every hour. To their credit, they did make a special run after I missed the shuttle by a few minutes.
Clean, good breakfast, pleasant staff and could leave car while on vacation. They have an airport shuttle also. Very convenient to Miami airport.
