Hampton Inn by Hilton La Guardia Airport

This is a very convenient location if you are taking a flight out of LaGuardia airport and don't want to risk the traffic hassles in the area. This and a few other competitive hotel brands are directly across the Grand Central Expressway from the terminals, you could literally walk across the overpass, but all the hotels have shuttles. We stayed before, and because of late arrival, after our west coast trip a week later. I like there is no sink in the room. Everything is behind the bathroom door. One small cutback from the Marriott chain is there was no refrigerator or microwave in our double queen room, but neither was missed in this trip. The included breakfast buffet in the morning was adequate - maybe the scrambled eggs could have been less "institutional", but there was plenty of variety. No bar or full service restaurant in location, but the night before, they were pointing to a "sister property" just steps away for libations. I optioned for sleep.



The staff were pleasant, even stored my luggage then let me check in when I arrived earlier than traveling companion that had the room in their name. We are brothers, so the same last name helped, plus having a liberal sprinkling of gray hair, (and getting a second opinion) helped assure them I wasn't a likely scammer. I would stay there again, but then again, this was on.my brothers dime and he's s Hampton Inn rewards member. I'm a Marriott Rewards member and a Marriott is right there also.

When you have an early morning flight, it's hard to beat. Shuttle leaves every 20 minutes which is nice and convenient. Typical Hampton Inn. Room was spacious. Stayed here a few times, always catching an early flight. I would recommend it.

This hotel deserves it’s strong rating. We stayed for 3 nights, and were very pleased. Parking was on site and at a reasonable price, front desk was helpful, and breakfast was the best we’ve seen at a hotel of this caliber. Yes, the rooms and elevator are a bit dated.. but the rooms are clean, comfortable, and the elevator is surprisingly quick to respond. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to anyone staying in Queens!

I was visiting the LaGuardia Airport for a student visit and had the opportunity to stay at the Hampton Inn at LaGuardia Airport. The rooms were amazing, including the TV, the work table and the bathroom. I only wish the bathroom had exhaust. The bathroom would fog up after a hot shower and it would stay that way for a while. If there was something for the exhaust, I could not figure it out. Other than that, the room and the view was amazing.

Free parking in NYC is a big deal. Clean, safe and priced right. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this property. Close to the airport and convenient if you want to move about town.
