Terrible check in process, under trained front desk staff, poor communication. Overall just a terrible experience for me and 4 coworkers. They seem to have forgotten the definition of hospitality. The front desk manager miss Diaz, has no business in the font of the house. Whatever you do do not stay at this property. Complete and total disappointment
With the service and the property which is rundown
After filing a complaint with their corporate customer service department within days of my stay at this misguided and morally bankrupt property, I was given a case number and the assurance that I would be contacted by the property within 48 hours. That was over two months ago. Now the emails and letters will begin, I will CC every board member and corporate officer I can find a contact for. This kind of behavior must not be tolerated. Please vote with your feet and do not stay at this property.
I've stayed here 3 times now. Nice hotel, nice rooms, nice beds, but they need to fix the problems with the card keys and the hot tub. Hot tub was cold as ice! Restaurant was nice with breakfast Buffet and the lady that waited on me new year's day morning was very pleasant and very helpful. Hats off to her! Sorry, I didn't catch her name. Get location! Thank you!
Convenient to cruise terminal, but rooms are suffering with broken fixtures, no fridge in our room, lots of visible wear and tear. Lobby restaurant under-staffed, so we went to Grinders Diner for breakfast. Good for a one night stay before a cruise when all you plan to do at the hotel is sleep.
Great location to the cruise terminal. Convenient to have a restaurant and bar on location. Service was slow in both but we had nothing but time anyway.
I always stay here when in LA. I don't like the 8 doller parking charge but other than that it's more upscale, nice pool. Great local eating within a couple of blocks, bars are very popular with the locals. If you are from the 'hood' this is where you go with your family.
