Chosen for convenience to JFK Airport and free shuttle. Drop-off is right at your airline. Pickup is at the Federal Circle stop on the Air train. You'll wait outside once you get there so if it's winter, bundle up. It is covered so don't worry about rain. Waited about 15 minutes. Hotel is a basic room. Clean, friendly front desk, breakfast included. Hot water, water pressure acceptable. Small restaurant in lobby that has pizza and burgers. There are three restaurants that deliver: Namaste Indian (good), Sylvia's for pizza and Italian (decent pizza), and Chinese. Lots of tables to eat at where breakfast usually is if you don't want to eat in your room.

The room was perfectly suited for my need to crash somewhere for the night. I was most blown away by the service and staff. The sweet lady who checked me in at nearly midnight was incredibly positive despite the line in the lobby. Roshma also did a great job of making sure my room was tidy and welcoming when I arrived. Overall, great stay for the evening and the shuttle to JFK was greatly appreciated and efficient.

Great hotel for access to the airport. Room was comfortable and quiet. The staff super friendly. Breakfast had the usual stuff. Let me store my luggage and then sent me away for the day with detailed directions of how to get where I was going. Worked perfectly Hannah! The shuttle driver was fighting for his life in traffic while getting yelled at by tired, frustrated travelers. Itโs NY and there is a lot of construction and traffic. Be kind.

Not try to justify a mistake or assume how a situation happened. My stay was from 9/21-9/26. I had a double hold for incidentals put on my account because of a mistake by the young lady at the front desk first then I was put in the wrong room second, I ended up taking a shower bath because as I was taking a shower the drain didnโt drain third. 123โฆ. All inconvenient situations for me. Michelle is an excellent example of a person who knows how to represent the establishment in which she works for. Her professionalism and consideration for my issues shows that her main task was to insure that my stay would be pleasant and that I would be compensated for my troubles. The shuttle service was excellent. We arrived a day early before our trip and needed a clean, comfy room. We hit the jackpot with this hotel.
We had requested a late check-in as our flight was arriving late in the evening. Peggy and Chelsea were very welcoming and helpful and made the check-in process was easy.
The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast provided was very good, offering a variety of items.
Tiffany, Latonia and Michelle were very efficient at checkout, which made it quick and easy.
Denny, the shuttle driver, was very good and was very patient with all the traffic issues getting us to the airport on time.

We just needed a hotel near JFK for early morning next day flight and the Hampton Inn seemed to be the place - and thanks to Michelle at the front desk and Kim at the bar/restaurant, we were RIGHT! The check in with Michelle was efficient and professional AND provided a chance for an enjoyable conversation with her, tasty snacks - gratis, by the way - and excellent tips on timing our shuttle trip in the morning. And dining at the bar with bartender/server/bus girl Kim was a fitting complement to our check in experience: similarly pleasant, engaging and served up a surprisingly tasty veggie burger! Our room is spacious and clean and - thought the WiFi is a bit balky, will be back to the Hampton Inn for our next trip to JFK!

I was a bit skeptical in the beginning after going through all the negative reviews in Google map about the shuttle bus service. However during our one night stay in thanksgiving day, it wasnโt any problem at all. Shuttle bus was smooth and punctual and even wait for us for a while. We have being traveling back and forth between hotel and airports. Driver and staff are very helpful, canโt remember their names but they should get a good reward for their performance, so nice to accommodating our needs on checkin and check out. Hotel is nice too that you can see the airplane taking off just from the window, super cool for our toddlers. Facility is nice too has everything. Most important we didnโt hear airplanes noises.

Upon checking in, I had the pleasure of having Michelle take care of me. She was so friendly and helpful it was such a pleasure to have her check me in. Our room is nice and also very clean. When we went up to our room it was around 7pm and I was hungry. We headed down to the lobby to buy junk food and we saw that they had a small menu at the bar. That was great. Ordered a chicken sandwich and it was great. Looking forward to the free breakfast in the morning. I would recommend this hotel if you need to be near JFK airport. Ordered a pick up shuttle at JFK and shortly after a van showed up. He was so pleasant and handled all our luggage. Highly recommend this Hampton Inn JFK.

The customer service was excellent! From the shuttle driver Chris to the front desk staff Michelle and Kandy, and the hostess at 135 lounge Kim which had delicious food. The location isnโt that convenient if you want to see downtown but very close to JFK and we only stayed one night. The rooms are a bit older but were very clean and comfortable. I would stay again for a quick overnight trip.

Sam at the front desk was very nice and efficient. It was an easy check in and she had a nice smile. The shuttle was right on time to pick us up at Kennedy and the driver loaded all the guests bags and was very personable. We arrived to Hampton and were checked in by Sam within five minutes. The room was comfortable and clean. The shower took some time for the water to heat up but it was good for a quick rinse before bed. The complimentary breakfast was above my expectations. Portuguese sausage, cheese omelettes, everything bagels and the juices were fresh. Danny the shuttle driver was also awesome. He got us to the airport in an efficient manner and was very nice and pleasant. I would like to express my appreciation for this pleasant stay and if I ever need a place for a layover The Hampton Inn is the spot.

The main hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to airport is wonderful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Housekeeping does a great job.
We ate 2x at the restaurant and the food and service were mediocre. Overpriced and staff are horrible. Ordering was difficult and they forgot our dessert. You sit there for a long time waiting for food even when it's not busy.
