They do not have free breakfast, nor do they have smart tv's; but I am always comfortable here. The room decor is old, and could use an upgrade; but it is always clean. The restaurant downstairs has good food and drinks, so if you're in town for only one night, you don't have to leave the hotel.

Hotel room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant and bar which is always a welcoming sight when you're traveling, though I didn't have time to try either. Front desk was very nice and helpful, the ladies made sure I had everything ready for my stay. The shuttle service was consistent and reliable. I look forward to staying again in the future.

The customer service was pretty good! We got in very late (after 1AM) but were able to take the shuttle from the airport over for free. The rooms really need a remodel but the beds were clean and the room was quiet. We set the AC down to 70 degrees F but it wouldn’t budge past 75. We asked for a single king bed but we’re given a double room. Which worked out in a way because it was too hot and I had to move to sleep by myself. We got a great deal on the room though so I can’t really complain.

Run by sketchy staff who are dishonest as mentioned by other reviewers . They cancelled my reservation and the staff at the reception verbally said that my money will be fully refunded and instead asked me to book a nearby Embassy suites ( which i did ) . Next day i noticed that my credit card was double charged . A room at this hotel and the embassy suites . The manager refused to return my money even after multiple escalation calls with Hilton. I cannot recommend a hotel where the staff would lie or not stand behind their verbal commitment. Look elsewhere please avoid Hilton Newark Airport . I am a frequent traveller and use Hilton for all my business travel worldwide and this has been the most unpleasant experience.

Terrible customer service right off the bat. Myself and about 20 others waited for over an hour at the airport for our shuttle. Three of them arrived almost full. When we asked the driver where he was picking up all of these other people, he wouldn’t say. He then let flight crew on ahead of a few of us who had been waiting much longer. Check in was fine, but when I went to use the toiletries, it was clear that all three bottles were open and used. When I called the front desk to let them know what happened, the girl just said “which ones?” All three, not like it matters. She said she’d send some more up. No apology. When I said “This is really unsanitary” she just said “I know.” Now I’m questioning the cleanliness of this entire room. Gross. Can’t wait to check out.

I've stayed here on two separate occasions and 3ach time the hotel staff helped out as much as they can. I'm not sure why people lose their minds when they decide to stay at a hotel, but courtesy of loud music played past midnight is lacking with some people. They don't like it when you tell them, but the hotel staff can kick them to the curb. Breakfast was good but I wish there was more variety. Maybe after things gave gotten better.

I had a pretty good experience at the Hilton. Food and room was great. Everyone but Kim had excellent customer service. I believe she was having a bad day. Maybe my next stay will be more pleasant

We stayed for a family trip with about 40 members. We reserved a block of rooms due Travel from several states and we arrived around noon on check in day to find out that we had to wait to checkin. Not fun for those who arrived on charter bus. The room is good but bathroom needs cosmetic repairs. There are no microwaves in the room but there is one in lobby. The restaurant pizza is NASTY! Parking lot was pretty full most of time and we had to park in top level. Would stay again, but not buy food here. Staff was amazing.

Rate was reasonable. Food was worth the price, very good. Bed was extra comfy. Room appearance was appealing and comfortable. There is a charge for guest parking ($18 to $24). You will gave to use the valet because people park and fly.

I disliked my stay at this hotel... one of the worst I've experienced in a long time. To be fair, I'm not solely referring to the employees but the entire experience.



The pics in my room did not look like the website at alll.



It seemed as if I they took images of a remodeled room but placed me in one of the old ancient rooms before renovations. The room with double beds were full sized not queen.



I saw my room and immediately requested to cancel my reservation, they said it was too late to cancel.

Next I requested a king sized room, they said everything was sold out.

I was forced to stay or lose out on over $200 for 1 night.

I went there for a peaceful getaway. It was extremely busy and chaotic. You have to pay for parking. The lot was full.

Thankfully they were able to provide the valet with no additional charge since the lot was full. It took a while for valet to take my car. It took an hour to finally check in, park/ valet, take belongings upstairs. This hotel is not a place for a quick 'check in and settle in your room in 15 minutes" process.

I was most dissatisfied with my room. It didn't look like the images online or I would have not reserved. Also there was a smell in the room.

I mentioned all of this to the front desk, they were not accommodating.

Pros- I was able to check out early.

My employer asked me to organize a small conference/meeting at the hotel. Stephanie in the sales dept was fabulous! She was knowledgeable on the front end about extras i.e. snacks and audio/visual availability. She followed up with me the day before the meeting and assured me everything was ready to go. On the day of the meeting she stopped in to make sure we had what we needed.

The curtains are not blackout at all for customers who came in on a red eye. The AC also was wonky and took a very long time to cool off... The rooms are okay other than that. Staff was kind at the front desk! However, housekeeping kept knocking, which is not cool when you've come in for a red eye and are trying to sleep in the afternoon hours. It is close to the airport and has decent food options! (Photo taken at 0901...too bright!!)

There was only one person working at the checking counter but they were going fast and didn't take long for the line to go down. The bus system was not what I expected it was crowded and had some people almost on top of each other. The hotel room was amazing and the beds sent me straight to sleep. Great customer service.

I stayed in two Hilton locations for a wedding recently, and this one was absolutely horrible. First, the charge for parking is insane. If they are going to charge they need to be more clear about that. Secondly, the blasting music in the lobby at night is ridiculous, it was like being at a club. I had an infant with me and I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport and I thought I could trust Hilton, it was so loud and woke her and me up. The walls are also super thin, and there were people in the hall slamming doors and running back and forth between hotel room, and yelling in the hallway. They also charge over $4 for water at the restaurant downstairs....even if you are buying food from them! Honestly, I would have just preferred driving to the other Hilton I stayed at in Rockaway, because I got no sleep at this one. The sheets on the bed also weren't fitted, they were clearly just extra flat sheets and didn't fit the entire bed, so the mattress was just out at the foot of the bed which is so gross at a hotel. Horrible experience with a baby, unless you sleep like the dead and bring food and water with you.

Originally I booked a single bed upon check in I received a double bed room without being made aware there weren't any other rooms with king beds. Strike 1 then the air conditioning did not work. I requested another room and was pretty much informed that there's no guarantee that the air would be any better. To top it off the room and everything in it smells of old cheap cigar. I won't be back!!!!

I parked my car at the Hilton at Newark Airport. I arrived back to my car and it was blocked in. They overbooked and had cars upon cars. I was traveling with my handicap mother, 3 year old, and 7 month old infant. We had to already wait at the airport for 3 shuttles because of how booked they were and how many people there were waiting and they only provided one shuttle (the same one) every half hour. Then I had to wait again for security to come and move cars out of the way to get to my car. This took over an hour with screaming kids who had just traveled all day and wanted to go home, with a 2 hour drive ahead of us. I was beyond infuriated! They refused to give my money back, even after pointing out someone hit my car door.

Excellent for those looking for a midpoint between NJ and NYC and do not want to be late for their flight. Parking is $18.00 homeless and indoor 24.00 including taxes. The cleanliness is excellent and the Front desks very friendly everyone. The only thing to improve the variety. in the pantry

I came in town to see some family I hadn’t seen in a few years. I decided to stay at Hilton because it’s a well known high rating hotel and since I was familiar with the accommodations, I figured the Hilton would be perfect! Unfortunately the room was not clean. There was hair on the sink and inside the shower. The beds were horrible and had my neck soar for a week! There was a strange security guard who kept following us around and coming to our car asking if we needed help. That happened twice in our two day stay. This was by far the worst stay with a Hilton brand that I have ever experienced. Thankfully the staff was polite and helpful.

I had a very shady experience at this hotel on March 20. The front desk clerk I encountered lied about a conversation about my reservation also they didn't email my receipt. I love the Hilton brand but I will not recommend this location to anyone.

The the male and female security officers were very pleasant.

The hotel is very clean, the location is perfect if your flying out of Newerk. But most of all the staff is so friendly. Everyone I encountered here brightened my day a little. The man working the front desk when I arrived was so patient with me when I was trying to navigate how to get to the shuttle location (called 3 times) and every time so sweet. Upon arrival he was all smiles.

Stayed one night and used long term parking here for a week. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and professional even when checking in at 2:30 am. Only hiccup was shuttle ran out of space on way to airport and return but another arrived only minutes after in both instances. Shuttle tracking app was good. Only 5 minutes ride from airport. Will definitely use again.

Including the carpet and the long term parking is very convenient especially if u have a long drive u the airport you have am early flight and you can just leave your car spend the night and catch the 24 hr shuttle early in the morning. My flights had been canceled due to weather a number of times and they were accommodating and terrific about it

This is a great Hilton for early morning flights , even offered park and fly option which made it even better.

This hotel was awesome keeping to the highest Hiton standards with customer service and the quality of the room.

The bar downstairs offers great food too....

This is a total must for the airport early flights

Had a nice night here at this Hilton property. The room was very spacious and clean. The staff at check in were extremely quick and professional. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. The bathrooms are probably due for a renovation to match the room style itself, but other wise it was still a clean bathroom. Common areas around the elevators on the floors needed some TLC as well. It was nice that the bar and restaurant was open downstairs during Covid. Server was excellent and they had a nice little selection of beer, drinks and food. The property is also conveniently located near Newark Airport and there is a 24 hour shuttle that will take you to the airport for free. Always a perk. Thank you for the stay.

I parked long term on the rooftop and lost my ticket somewhere during my trip. What would have normally been an expensive fee, was waved by the manager and I was told to not do that again. I’m pretty sure that they cleaned snow off of my car as well.

I bet that this hotel was nice at one point, however it isn't anymore. The room, especially the bathroom felt dated. Also, I'm about 6'2", and I was not even close to getting under the shower head. I also wish that there was free breakfast, especially considering most people here are on the move and will leave for the a flight in the morning. Finally, there was supposed to be a sticker on the door that went from the door to the wall, what would break when opened. However, that sticker was not correctly applied.

Thanks for a great stay. Our late-night flight arrived right in the middle of a snowstorm, but the shuttle bus was still picking up passengers after midnight. The room was a standard for a Diamond, my status as elite was recognized and rewarded. We did take out breakfast from the restaurant downstairs (thank you John) and appreciate the coronavirus measures taken.

Parking: reasonably-priced, covered, 3x/h shuttle. Pay in advance, print out a receipt, take a card when you enter and then show the receipt when you leave and off you go. It worked well for me.

Only caveat is that you have to take the SkyTrain to P4 to get picked up on your return. But they let you take luggage carts all the way from the carousel to the pickup, so it's not too bad.

Absolutely unsecured lot, both my custom f350 and Harley Davidson CVO were stolen from their surface lot. They also stole another white pickup truck. I check in at 215am the truck was stolen according to security around 245 am. They crashed through the floppy security gate with my truck with the dodge tailing behind. When I ran into report it stolen it took security over twenties minutes to call Elizabeth PD. Then took over an hour for a “Supervisor” to call back so the night guard could access the 1 camera they have on the surface lot! Then while being shown the video I was told I could not record the video of my truck being stolen. Elizabeth Pd showed up, simply took my report and left. The nighttime security guard punched out, never giving me am further details. Upon asking for details from the front desk, I was told that “The Hilton” is separate from the security company and can not access the footage. When finally getting a ride home I saw their engineer Robert repairing the gate. With white duct tape and some type of pole. He told me this happened less then a year ago too, and no improvements were done, no upgrade on video surveillance nor gate upgrades. I can not believe for such a big hotel chain you have 1 night guard, who cannot even realize the gates been driven through over a 3 hour time line.



Your heartfelt apology in the comment below isn’t believable, and I’ve tried contacting your security team for 4 days now! But still no answer.

Rude, arrogant and lazy staff. They don’t respect the delivery people work. I always deliver to people there, the receptionist look me as I am disgusting, don’t let me go upstairs, which is fine, but then they don’t call the rooms people are at. I do my job very well, and don’t like to have complains because of the mistakes of lazy people who think I’m less than a person.

The location is very convenient. The shuttle from EWR was timely and clean. The breakfast in the downstairs restaurant was good, hot and served quickly. I like this hotel, and seems very clean to me.

I would give this hotel 3.5 stars if I could give had stars. Front desk staff was indifferent, not rude, but not friendly. Hotel room was clean and in decent condition, but somewhat dated. I expected more for the price. Hotel is convenient to the airport, has a free shuttle. My room had a great view of the NYC skyline! Overall, I am not disappointed and would stay here again, just think it is a little overpriced for what it is.

Staff is extremely friendly. I arrived on Sunday 3/1 in the morning and wanted to go to New York, so my plan was to leave my bags at the front desk... it was 11 am and they said my room was ready 😍😍😍

The breakfast people are just as amazing.

I was here before and the same waiter who helped me before was here and he exceeded again. Great service. Amazing food. Variety. They have this smoothie called Green Power and it is D E L I C I O U S. whenever I come back, here is where I want to stay. Thank you Hilton Newark Airport. By the way John is the name of my waiter... an amazing professional!

Close to the airport and I had a comfy sleep. The van driver and the front desk staff were very kind and welcoming. It would be nice if the coffee shop stayed open longer. I was looking forward to a coffee before heading to the airport but the coffee shop was closed when I came down at 11:30am.

We were very unhappy with shuttle service to and from the airport. There were not enough shuttles and passengers were competing for seats on the shuttle which made it very poor experience. We waited with for 40 in the cold and we couldn't go inside since we had to wait on line for the next. The rooms were moderate to nice. Actually the reason I gave it a 2 star was the food/service at the lobby bar was good. I wouldn't recommend using the stay and fly package. As we were waiting for the hotel shuttle it appeared that many other hotels had more running shuttles.

Beautiful lobby, extremely generous staff to wait on and for you. The rooms are sorta dated but very clean and well taken care of. Need more wash clothes though. Really fast elevators. I love the mirrors throughout the lobby level. The spiral staircase is gorgeous! Great service so far.

Thanks to their day stay program, we were able to recover from a redeye from the west coast before flying to Europe. The staff was helpful, room was dark, quiet, and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and included vegetarian and gluten-free options. Beds were very comfortable.

I stayed here for two weeks for a business trip and was thoroughly impressed with the property and amenities. I have to give a special shoutout to the bar staff though. Angel, Christine, and Julio are some of the best people I have ever met. I had the privilege of talking with each one on multiple days and they are great people who are super friendly and personable. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff made an effort to get to know me, especially since I was here for two weeks and I really appreciated that. Thank you Hilton Newark Airport hotel for such a great stay.

Location isn't so great due to the hotel being near the airport. But it's super convenient for a business traveler or a layover. Very nicely decorated for Christmas holidays. And the lady at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. I loved the staff! It's people who make the place!

Staff was not welcoming or accommodating. Room had chips off the desk and was worn. Food choices were limited, both Dinner and Breakfast. Red wine list was disappointing. Finally orderd a gin & tonic that was terrible with no garnishes. Go to the Marriott...much better stay.

I always look forward to staying there even if it's just for the one night before our flight next morning. The room was very nice, clean, and cozy. The bed was comfortable and had a good space to work. The conference rooms were set up well, and the staff quickly accommodated our needs to have more space. The gym is good, but the ceiling is low for any overhead exercises. The guest service agents at the front desk were awesome particularly Jamilah. She went above and beyond to make sure all went well.

This is a great place to stay! I stayed there with my hubby. The location is convenient so close to Newark Airport. 24 hours shuttle service is convenient. The rooms are well cared for every day. Staff named "Shahid" I interacted with him, was so respectful, jolly and courteous man. I will keep this place in mind every trip I make to the NJ.

This is a great spot if you fly out frequently. Shuttle service is always on time and parking during your trip is fee. Price for the room almost equals what you would pay for parking for a 3 day trip.

Our overnight stay in this establishment was nothing short of disappointing. The pool was not accessible during night or very early morning hours. No breakfast was included and would have cost about $20 extra and the garage parking cost another $20 making a one night stay in October climb far above $300 for a small dated room with no service whatsoever.

Facility and rooms are nice. Lady at the desk was very nice. Other staffers were 'short' with us. Lunch took over 2 hours. Only one waitress/bar tender when we arrived at 1:30. Dinner was better. I didn't like the food and would go somewhere else next time...getting food elsewhere would require a taxi ride. The Hotel's Starbucks was closed.. maybe it will open on Monday. No frozen dinners in the pantry.
