Close to FLL airport, Lots of nearby(walkable) restaurants and shopping. Free airport shuttle. Clean pool. I will rate more stars when hotel restaurant opens.
Very accomadating. It's a nice touch adding Keurig coffee makers. If they worked !
I am regular customer at this hotel along with my fiancé and family. We stay at this place 4 to 5 times a month. We’ve never had a problem, everything has been great until our last stay which we will not be staying here anymore. During our stay, the family members and I take turns paying for extended days. So I gave my fiancé my card to pay for another day. All done, card was charged, fiancé left to pick up paper work and I left to get breakfast. As I return with food in hand and extra bags, I used my card to open the door from the back parking lot. With that being said, I had to walk all around the building to front to find out the my card wasn’t working because they have checked us out. I did speak to the same attendant in front desk that also took care of my fiancé and payment. I showed her my charge and my fiancé called her at the same time. Nothing was found on our extended day. Long story short... the attendant was to busy training someone at front desk that she “assumed” that my fiancé wanted to pay with my card for the night we had already spent but it was to extend for another day. As I spoke to attendant, the room was cleared and our bags was sent down .... reminding that we was gonna spend another nite ... as we thought... so instead of giving us all our items.. my personal items in the bathrooms was thrown away along with my fiancé’s medication he had in zip lock bags, juice, waters, snacks we bought along with a large bottle of hand sanitizers, Lysol spray and wipes. I told the attendant about our items ... she said she will replace the items thrown away but she never did along with that, once again she stops in the middle of our conversation to assist the new girl she is training. Never mentioning our items again. I asked about the charge for the room, and I asked why I have to pay full price for the room all because you “assumed” and my items were thrown away.. all I got was apology , you will be charged the next day ... really... because of your mistake, I have to pay for the room and buy back my items.... she had no answer.. my fiancé and I paid for nite and everything again. The attendant never gave us anything back nor checked on us. This was embarrassing and a rip off.. never again... they lost our business.

We get out of the car and it smells like rotten eggs. I head down to the hot tub and it's extremely dirty and not hot at all and the spa jets don't work properly. I try to take a shower in the morning and the water isn't hot. Waste of money.
I had a reservation for this hotel coming up in May but due to the Covid-19 my cruise was cancelled. I called Hilton Honors to cancel my reservation but for some reason or another my credit card was charged a cancellation fee. I called Hilton Honors who then reached out to this hotel's front desk. Within 2 minutes of ending my call with Hilton Honors I received a call directly from the hotel to let me know my refund has been issued. I appreciated the prompt and courteous service I received from the Hilton Garden Inn. We stayed at this same location last April and received excellent service then which is why I rebooked this hotel for this cruise. We will be sailing this October out of Ft Lauderdale and we will definitely be staying at this location again.
Kimberly the receptionist for booking was so nice and helpful! I booked my room very quickly with her and she was very patient
I attended a conference at this hotel. I did not spend the night. There was plenty of parking, even though we had a lot of people who were not here to spend the night, brought lots of cars,and still enough spots.
Bathrooms were clean. Conference room was modern and clean. The front desk reception area was also modern and clean, and beautifully decorated.

Hotel is in bad need of upgrade. Basically felt like a holding pen for cruise ship passengers. Rooms with rusted door frames, two different color paints in the room. Left over food from previous guests in refrigerator. Phone didn't work, internet was unreliable, front lobby is not big enough as everyone leaves at the same time. Property fenced in just like a hog pen with one way in/out. I would strongly advised to stay at a different Hilton property. Front reception staff is working in the wrong job.
Not a Hilton culture. Some employees are rude, especially the restaurant. They don't know anything about the specials and the hotel advertise their special. One night the bartender argued with me about the Wednesday special which was not available. They didn't clean my room on day. The floor by the ice maker was never clean, very sticky from Monday to Friday. The elliptical machine was broken. Not happy with the property. Needs improvement.
Look elsewhere. The rooms we had were fine... nothing exceptional, but no real problems. However, the shuttle from the airport was ridiculous. It took an hour to get picked up at the airport. We called 3 times and were told it was "on the way" each time. Service in the restaurant for breakfast was deathly slow... it took forever to get food cooked and the waitstaff was understaffed and/or apathetic. And considering the cost we had to pay for each of the rooms (very expensive)... I assure you we won't be back.
Cheetos are friendly family place might be on my to son was there and we were welcomed we were well taken care of it was she like we were at home and I really appreciate that kindness from the stuff they're so I recommend anyone want to go there is a very good family orientation please
Great hotel in a good location. Rooms were nice but could use a little updating.
The lobby area was always busy and quite nice. Parking was protected and had a lot of parking spaces.
Although I did not use them, the meeting rooms also looked nice.
The front desk staff were ok. Didn't give us no information on breakfast wifi etc just handed the key card and dismissed us. Their transport to and from the port & everglades was horrible. They left 6 of us at Port and everyone took taxis. The trip to the Everglades was worse. The hotel was disorganized. Rooms were clean. Beds comfortable.
hotel was very old. I went to sleep and woke up the next morning with a rash/ breakout on my face. Stayed here for only one night, we were leaving the next morning to fly back home. We had just gotten of a cruise. everything else was fine except the hotel was just old and I was concerned of things like bed bugs, dirty bathroom and not clean sheets. as I said I had a rash on the side of my face the next morning.
Hilton stays are always nice however, if you are staying here after a cruise, be sure you make arrangements for the shuttle or you will have issues getting a ride from the port. The cruise port is a third party shuttle that charges 10 dollars per person and chances are they will drive right by you at the port. And if you call the guy will tell you it's a 2 hour wait til they show up again. We ended up taking a taxi and it was only a couple dollars more than what the shuttle wouldve charged. A d the taxis are already sitting there and there no wait.
I love the location of this hotel to the port. They have a restaurant. They also offer transportation to the port.
Place is getting old and shows it. Torn chair in dinning room. Dirty rug in "living room".
great place to stay before or after a cruise out of Port Everglades. free airport shuttle and only $20 to go the cruise ports. this one is a keeper.

Very nice hotel format time staying. Love how it is conveniently located around every type of store you can think of. Everything is walking distance. I love that there was a jacuzzi and pool just a nice hotel. I would definitely stay again

This was a wonderful place to stay at for vacation. The location is close to the airport (10 minutes) and they offer shuttle services. Around the hotel are a lot of stores which is very convenient. Walking into the lobby sets the mood of how wonderful the hotel is. The staffing is very pleasant and friendly. The breakfast service is the best I've ever experienced at any hotel I've been to. The room was very nice and comfortable. The pool area is very clean and tidy along with the hot tub that they have. The digit key that gives access to entrances is a hit a miss. Sometimes it'll get you in and other times you'll be lock out for a few minutes other than that the hotel is amazing. This is the second Hilton inn I've been too and I feel like they just know how to do hotel services. I felt like I paid the right price for a wonderful visit. Definitely coming back here for another stay when I visit Florida in fort Lauderdale-Hollywood.
This hotel is in the perfect location if you need to do shopping. They even have a free shuttle that takes you to certain places within the immediate are. The staff are super helpful - I will return!
HGI Fort Lauderdale is located a 15 minute drive from the airport and the Everglades Port. They run a complimentary shuttle to Hollywood airport, FLL, and a charged for service to the port. The hotel has plenty of parking and there is lots of food choices around the hotel if you don't want drive. There is a large lobby with a bar and a restaurant, look out for happy hour between 5-7pm in the bar. They have a small business centre and a guest laundry room on the ground floor as well as a small gym and an outdoor pool. The rooms are a good size and well planned with plenty of space, they are a little dark though and could do with an refresh. Food is good and staff are nice and friendly. Overall a good hotel for exploring Fort Lauderdale.
I might say when I travel to meet the Eye of Dorian the Hurricane...you must stay at any Hilton property..I love the south and the charm..party town..weekend gateaway..love it
Energy vibe of this hotel is great, the hotel overall is very clean, comfortable, inviting. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Shuttle driver attitude is very outgoing. 5 star treatment for sure.
Spacious rooms, well-kept grounds, and a friendly staff. Conveniently located near several restaurants which were in walking distance. Most importantly, there is a free shuttle that runs to the airport every hour. The shuttle also take guests to local restaurants free of charge. It runs until 10pm. The outdoor pool was clean and refreshing. Beautiful facility, my family enjoyed our stay.
Staff is wonderful and the outside of the hotel along with the landscape is a beautiful thing... but the inside SMH.. this hotel really needs a face lift.. the lamps and desks in room are ancient.. for having the Hilton name money is needed to remodel the lobby the dining area and for most of all the room.. wont be spending that kind of money to stay here again
First room we were given had dirty towels and air conditioning was not working. The older gentleman at the front was so sweet he changed our room right away. The second room was better. Although there was food left in the refrigerator. I don't think these rooms are being cleaned properly. The customer service was excellent and i loved the fact that they had shuttle service to and from the airport.
