Very dirty, but nice staff. The worst hotel I been in, with bugs too, very disappointed. There's a room that says pool, but they dont have one. You can tell back in the very early 2000s this place was nice, but needs a update asap!!! Almost looks like a run down motel. And the area is very nice. Just please remodel this place and watch your stars go up.

TL;DR: I had an intruder in my room at some point during my stay.

I was in town to attend a work training which ended each night at around nine. On Friday, I didn't get to the hotel until 9:30 or so, and immediately I could see that the lobby wasn't really clean and everything was very run-down and in disrepair. The pool was closed and being used for storage. There was painters tape across some of the exit doors. Someone was on the phone complaining while I waited to check in. When I went upstairs, the elevator was visibly dirty. The hallway windows were open and had no screens. In my room, the chair was broken, the bathtub faucet was broken, the sheets, towels, and bath mat had been laundered but all had stains, and the room smelled. I ended up turning off the air conditioning for the duration of my stay, which helped, but my window also had no screen. The cable on the TV wasn't working and was all fuzzy and pixelated. It was bad enough that I checked the mattresses for evidence of bedbugs and wasn't comfortable putting my belongings on the floor, but at that point it was so late I just stayed, though I didn't sleep much. The next day I put all my things in my car, thinking I could look for another hotel during the day if I had time. I left a Do Not Disturb sign on the door so no one would enter. We worked right through our meals, so I didn't have an opportunity to change hotels, and I again didn't return until near ten. The room appeared untouched. I put on my pajamas and got onto the bed, where I put my toes under the folded down covers. My toe touched something wet, then bumped something hard. I jumped out of bed, pulled back the blankets, and found a fresh beer bottle leaking beer onto the sheets. I packed in a hurry! I called my husband, who started searching for a new room online, and went to speak to the manager. She didn't seem particularly surprised or upset. She was the only hotel staff member I'd seen on my way out that morning, and I'd watched her clock that I had all my stuff, so make of that what you will. She gave me the runaround about a refund, and is currently doing the same to Priceline. I will never stay in a Best Western again. If this is the franchise bar, it's dangerously low. That said, the Hampton down the street was perfectly lovely, and a coworker who stayed in the Four Points Sheraton likewise had no problems. Another attendee at my training told me Sunday she'd stayed at the same hotel and had ended up tracking down a friend and sleeping on their couch Saturday night because she was afraid to return.

Whole 3rd floor stunk like rotten food. Was dirty. And not a good side of town. Hotel was dirty. Had reservation for 2 nights left after one. Couldn't get refund for second night that we didn't even stay there. I do not recommend anyone ever stay here.

Good points for the breakfast. It is near airport. Some good restaurants nearby.

Bad points for my room. There were bed bugs. Some one smoked weed and removed the smoke detector.

The AC fan was broken. It was making weird sound.

Highway noise.

There was no one in the reception in my 2-3 visits.

The lady in the front desk was amazing. My Expedia reservation never went thru and when we got there (after midnight) there were no rooms available, but she managed to find something for me! The room was clean, though there was a small spider in the bathroom. Everything was clean, no bad odor anywhere. Shuttle to airport on time for my flight. Very good experience.

Front desk lied about the airport shuttle time on the phone. Would not have stayed here otherwise. Highway noise. Unattractive rooms. Smoke detector was disconnected. Yellow stains on the sheets. Don't stay here.

I must say if I could give this hotel higher I would. I love this hotel and staff. The room was very clean and spacious. I love the hot breakfast.

This hotel doesn't deserve a star ⭐ at all!!! I booked it because of the supposed breakfast and bad information was given, as you can see on the pictures. They don't have anything to eat but coffee and small muffins. Dirty? Yes! And, I don't believe that the problem is money. Because there are many people that Fall for the misleading information about the place. People come from the Chicago airport tired, late at night just to take another flight in the morning. This hotel should be rebuilt.

If I could give this zero stars, I would! The property was very run down and not well kept at all. We had to wait 10 minutes just to check in because the receptionist was arguing with other staff. And they were very rude when they finally did get around to checking us in. The staff left their carts of supplies in the middle of the hallways making it very challenging to work our way around them to even get to our room. When we arrived to our room, the window was wide open, with no screen, so bugs were getting in. The room smelled of smoke. The housekeepers were "working" until 8pm, at least. We assume that the one housekeeper and her family must live on the premises, because her three kids were running around, screaming and leaving their personal items (phones, toys, etc) strewn about the hallway floors. I called the front desk to address this issue at approximately 8pm. We could hear them yell at the kids right after, but the chaos continued. My husband asked them to quiet down around 9:30pm. He reminded them, and the adults that were now with them, that it was a hotel where other guests are staying and they should be respectful of that. But they still continued to be noisy until at least 11pm. And then it started all over by about 8am. We got the whirlpool suite, but the condition of it was very run down (there were cracks in it, jets not fitted into their spots properly, the white coating was peeling off), and it was visibly dirty. So we didn't even use it. Our sheets, a bath towel, and two wash cloths were visibly dirty as well... not stained, actually dirty. And when my husband went to the car at approximately 11:30pm, he found a very small baggie with a white powdery residue on the hallway floor. He told the receptionist and was advised to just throw it away.

Definitely the worst hotel experience we have ever had!! And considering my husband travels for work, so we stay in hotels on a very regular basis, it says a lot that this is by far the worst!

This is the worst hotel I've stayed in ever. Bad neighborhood. Trash outside and inside. Not clean. The pool is actually storage. The fitness room seems shady and the elevator didn't work. For $190 be aware you'll not get what you pay for at all.

Very Nasty, I had Room 100 for 2 night and only ending up Staying a couple hours Cus me and my boyfriend started getting bite by bed bugs, after gathering our things to leave and get a refund which took 2 days and we paid cash the another lady was in the lobby getting a refund because her baby was all bite up. The receptionist told

Me they don’t know why they put us in that room after that already had problem with bed bugs in that room already this was the worst experience I ever had a hotel.

Very loud traffic. Hard to sleep. Bed is hard. Stains and burns all over carpet. Nearly nothing for breakfast, just muffins and fruit. Kind of a sketchy location. Smells very strongly of smoke overpowered by perfume to mask it. Overall ok, but for the price I'd go elsewhere.

Great value for the money, clean and quiet. Desk staff responsive to any needs. Small office center a definite plus and limited breakfast is available now with decent variety considering pandemic still restricting

This place was a nightmare. People sleeping in the hallway. Place looked dirty the manager and front desk help was to busy on there cell phone to help. Booked a jacuzzi room the jets did not work they said that room is rented everyday no problem. Will never stay here ever would leave my dog to stay here just trash

The outside building looks old and dumpy but the inside interior was fine. The room was clean. The elevator is still broken. And their grab and go breakfast is no more than coffee and a tiny bite size muffin. Think they could do better.

Elevator didn't work and we were put on the top floor. We ordered 2 queen size beds and got full size. We were offered free breakfast. Most hotels say free continental breakfast, this one didn't so we assumed you were being served hot breakfast. My niece has diabetes with loss of toes so it was difficult for her. Otherwise, room was clean and I slept well.

Staff was great, we were kindly greeted upon arrival. However, the room was dirty. There was hair all over the shower. The jacuzzi was dirty and also had hair all over it. I had to use a rag and soap to clean it because it was just gross. And the worst part was there were FAKE NAILS in the towel slot. That was completely unacceptable. The room itself was great; it was very comfortable. The cleanliness of the room was just horrible.

This was a disappointing stay. I called ahead to see if the pool and workout rooms were available and was told they were. We booked for a good price and showed up to be told that both rooms were closed and had been since March. Walls and carpet had stains. There was trash left behind the bathroom door. Not up to what we expect to be Best Western standards.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went to these hotel expecting a nice stay from driving with a jacuzzi whirlpool but it was not at all what I expected. When I made the reservation it cancelled and I had to rebook upon arrival. The woman at the desk was nice enough to give us the same room. We got upstairs and me and my fiancé began to fill the tub and get ready for bed. I went to go get the food and when I came back we noticed a roach on the floor dead. We packed our things and went to the desk the woman told me I had to wait till morning to speak with the manager around 9. I called she never answered I have been calling and everyone who has answered has said she would be in later or to call earlier which I did. I am still waiting on the manager to come in and return my call because this was completely unacceptable.

IF YOU WANT COVID AND A SLEEPLESS NIGHT STAY HERE.

To start, I walked in and the girl at the front desk had no mask on, I asked why she's not wearing a mask, she said they wear masks, huh? Then I saw nobody working there with a mask on, and people walking in without masks. Train noise all night, broken TV, doorknob, chair, dresser, just a dump. They will be closed by Best Western within a year, pathetic.

On sept 26 late late in the evening around 10pm. I was suppose to stay at this hotel, reservation booked over the phone lady number one spoke with took my money over the phone due to there being limited amounts of rooms (NO CANCELATION POLICY WAS INFORMED) $102.00 charged. OKAY FINE! never had intentions on canceling my reservations due to a personal family matter that came up, lady number two I spoke with stated "that is fine that I cancel the manager should be okay with that and your money will be refunded" OKAY FINE! (STILL NO CANCELATION POLICY EVER TOLD), calls back speaks with same lady number two "okay mam your refund has been issued" okay you hangs up. Calls back second lady "mam your card was never charged" I explained yes it was I have my bank statement showing it was in front of me, I asked to speak with a manager she was not there, I was given an email for the manager to send the bank statement to days go by no reply. finally I get in touch with MARIA (manager) days later. she told me I could not have my refund due to there policy in which previously I WAS NOT TOLD. employee number two said I would get this back. now the manager is being very rude as I am telling her my situation and hangs up on me. Days go by I am trying to get the situation resolved before I take it to corporate. Well now corporate is involved mind you I made a previous review on google for this experience. On the phone with corporate they click back over and tells me the manager named (MARIA) "will refund you your money if you delete your bad review off google" WOWWWWW THIS IS CORPORATE TELLING ME THIS!! calls maria at hotel she states "delete your comment I will refund you" okay whatever comment was deleted, would like my money back because I never stayed there and was unaware of the policy, and your employees should not be taking money over the phone, reservations!! here is the 10th day my bank has nothing about my refund so at this point I don't care about the money. but a complaint with the BBB has been filed againt this hotel and maria. also took it further with my lawyer. So be aware of this poor customer service and professionalism

They did reservation for 3 days $256

I paid $130 with my credit card and my friend paid $126 in cash 💵 she gave 140 to the girl receptionist in and she gave her change please check the camera was at 2:00 pm 8/20/2020

Room 407 and now I check my bank account they charge me 126 in my debit card 💳

The girl told me I can’t paid with my debit card because I didn’t have with me

Just in my wallet that’s the reason I paid with my credit card 130 and my friend the rest in cash 126

Please give me my money back or a night for free next time

I had a family member who fell ill. We didn’t want to risk checking into a hotel. We called explaining this and they still charged us a $106 cancellation fee. They’re not understanding to customers circumstances at all. Would not recommend.

Checked out the room with the Jacuzzi in so my boyfriend could enjoy a nice soak as normal tubs are too small for him. The room was good for that aspect! The room was clean, the carpet could use an update as it’s older. We did see them deep clean the main area hallway carpets while there so that was a good sign. They didn’t have breakfast which could be due to Covid. We were on the side by the Mannheim road and the windows are not sound proof so if you don’t sleep with background noise you may wake up to all the semis driving on the road over night. The staff was friendly and helpful. There seemed to be an odor of cigarette smoke in various areas from the hallways to room even though the hotel is listed as smoke free.

I rate this hotel 0 stars. Staff at the front desk was rude and unprofessional. She refused to accommodate me and my husband after spending over $250 to stay there. The rooms were mediocre with the rugs coming up. The whole experience was overall the worse I've ever witnessed. Do not recommend anyone to stay here or waste their money .

Me and my girlfriend where looking for a place to stay for the night. We were a long way from home so we would have had to sleep in the car because we are both not 21 so we kept getting turned away by hotels but they let us stay with a promise that their would be no partying. Its was really nice and the bed was amazing.

The room was very clean and smelled very great! The staff was amazing. I wish I could remember the gentleman s name that was working when we arrived on the 23rd, very pleasant and helpful! The girl, Nora went above and beyond to get us from the airport back to our room! Honestly, one of the best places we have stayed for the price, great room, and your staff! We will use you the next time we fly. Thank you very much to all thre staff! Ronald&Teresa Lagrand

We called and made arrangements to get a room right after we landed. When we arrived 30 minutes later they tried to increase the price. After arguing they gave us the original price. We were told there was a shuttle running back and forth to the airport every hour on the half-hour. When we needed the shuttle they said the driver had gone home because nobody needed a ride. They had to find someone else to drive us back. The shuttle is free to hotel and back to airport at the end of your stay. Otherwise it is $10 per trip. Had to ask for a receipt. The room was clean bed was comfortable. The business center computer has no printer. Don't recommend.

The room was the most basic of accommodations and I'd recommend bringing a sleep mask if you need darkness, *BUT* the staff was exceptionally friendly. We did a "park and fly" and left our car with them for 3 weeks. Shuttle service to and from the airport was great, the car was where we left it, and we'd definitely use this service again. Seamless experience with no stress other than a funky a/c unit and a very bright room.

This placed surprised me. Its a dated building but very clean and staff was better than some of my stays as Hilton Honors. This staff even calls within minutes of room arrival to confirm al is in order. Diligent in airport shuttle service...staff was on point

Busy, close to airport, very commercial area, could hear train whistles at night. Hotel building is old, so the walls are a little thin, but each area and the guestrooms have all been updated. For my purpose, the location was fine due to convenience for the several places I needed to visit. Some people might not like the neighborhood. Front desk staff vey caring and helpful.

The staff goes over and above to make sure you have what you need; they even sent their shuttle to pick up our dinner from a local restaurant—at no charge (of course, we gave the driver a tip). And, the breakfast bar is one of the best I’ve seen for a continental buffet. Very clean, and abundance of offerings (waffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, English muffins, sausage, potatoes, etc.). Room was large and well appointed. Absolutely no complaints—a real value for the money!

We stayed only one night in the jacuzzi room. The room was nice and spacious. Clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the tub. Big enough for two people to comfortably relax in. The location is decent. The limited snacks in the lobby was a bit disappointing after a long drive from Wisconsin. But it's located a block away from a convenience store so that is nice. The breakfast in the morning was really good and we really appreciated the late check out options. It helps not having to rush out in the morning especially if you have a later flight. We look forward to our next stay here!

I have a customer near by this hotel and another in downtown. I been coming to here for years, the room and the services always nice, the breakfast always hot and fresh. 15 minutes to airport also a plus too.

If God permits, I will continue to stay here.

We did the stay and fly package. I appreciated the breakfast being available at 5:30am. At most hotels, the breakfast does not start until 7am and we are not able to eat before we fly out. To have breakfast before we left was wonderful. The shuttle drivers both to and from the airport were great and quick. The man at the front desk was super helpful and nice.

The breakfast in the mornings was nice along with the free parking. However, when we got to our room the dresser was in really bad shape and the wardrobe was broken. The bed was super hard and I could feel the springs on my back. The lighting in our bathroom was also terrible. We had our do not disturb sign on the door and when we came back to our room it had been “cleaned” anyway. While we were in the parking lot we had a woman bang on our car window who appeared to be roaming the streets and asking for something. When I called to get answers on the way I was billed no one really had answers for me and kept prompting me to someone else. All in all, I wouldn’t stay here again but I’m giving it two stars for the nice employees.

I was concerned about staying at this hotel because pictures did not look that great. This was one of the best Best Western hotels I have stayed at. Staff was friendly and efficient. Hotel was very clean and room was nice. Beds was very comfortable. If if had to say something negative--the only thing I did not like was the lighting on the bathroom mirror. I had an early flight and they even made sure breakfast was ready at 5AM so I could have breakfast before the hotel shuttle took me to the airport. I was PLEASANTLY surprised by this hotel and will certainly stay again when in the area

Quick and easy check-in with kind and efficient staff. Variety of warm breakfast items if you have time to sit down. There are quick bite items to choose from if you are in a rush. My wifi access was speedy and easy to access without any fuss. Definitely would stay here again.
