Brooklyn Bridge Park Parking
If you’re looking for a nice waterfront promenade with an urban New York City landscape, Brooklyn Bridge Park is the place for you. The 34-ha park is opened in 2010 on the Brooklyn side of the East River, at 334 Furman St. It covers two preexisting parks, the Fulton Ferry Landing, two warehouses, and six piers from north to south. While there’s no entrance fee, drivers must pay for parking. Discover the locations of nearby garages and short-term rates, or use the subway or ferry services to get there.

Nearby Street Parking Availability
Surrounding streets offer limited car parking. Although it’s hard, finding an available street space is possible. If you discover a vacant spot, read the signs carefully to avoid expensive NYC parking tickets. Regulations, street cleaning restrictions, and time limits vary according to the location. Free parking might be available on Sundays.
Public Transit Is the Best Option
Finding a convenient parking spot at a reasonable price is a challenge, so we recommend taking a bus, subway, or ferry to the park. Bus routes B25, B61, B63, and B67 stop in the vicinity. Brooklyn Bridge Park is also accessible by the following subway lines.
You can also arrive via Governors Island Ferry or NYC Ferry. The latter offers the following services:
- East River Ferry to DUMBO/Fulton Ferry/Pier 1;
- South Brooklyn Ferry to Brooklyn Bridge Park/Pier 6 or Pier 1.
