Using the subway is cheaper and more simple since MSG is placed right above Penn Station—take a train (1, 2, 3, A, C, or E) to the 34th Street/Penn Station to get to the venue stress-free! You can also hop on another train line to the 34th Street/Herald Square stop, which is one block away from Madison Square Garden. Alternatively, several MTA bus lines run to the 7th Avenue/Penn Station: M4, M10, M16, M34, and Q32. The fare is as low as $2.75.
