A great hotel that is close to the metro stop. Google Maps will say it is a 10 minute walk to the metro stop, but it is only 5 minutes tops.

The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly, and they allowed us to check in early at no extra cost and they kept our luggage on the last day until our departure in the evening.

This place was fantastic! We brought our group of 111 students and parents and the hotel was perfect for us! Incredible location, near the airport and within walking distance to the metro and Crystal City shops! Very clean and spacious rooms! Wonderful staff who made us feel welcome! The food was fantastic for breakfast as well! Would highly recommend staying at the Westin! It worked perfectly for us! Incredible price for everything mentioned!

Easy 2 minute walk to the metro station. Clean rooms, good service. The shower ceiling paint was peeling and a small part of the wallpaper was peeling but that's all the issues, and they didn't bother me. I'd stay here again if I come back to DC.

Great stay with super comfy beds and pillows. Wanted to take the bed with me. Close to subway and restaurants. Not much traffic for 4th of July week and super quiet. We didn't park at hotel because it's pricey as they all are. We found other parking but had to think outside the box. Would definitely stay again and everyone was friendly and helpful.

Excellent location to downtown DC. We always look to stay here when in town. The hotel staff is top-notch and very accommodating to your needs. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a hotel. Marriott quality at its finest!!

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are clean and a nice size.

Airport shuttle is included which is great.

It's a 3 minute walk to the metro so it's very convenient as a tourist. They do charge you for commonly included items however. Breakfast buffet is not included. Even 10 year old movies in your room will the charged. There is no modern connectivity for the in room TV either.

Still a great place. Would stay there again.

The Westin is a beautiful, fancy hotel in a beautiful neighborhood! Our airline booked a night here for my wife and I after our flight was cancelled and rescheduled for the next day.

We found the room to be spacious, and the bed very comfortable for a good night of sleep! The lobby houses the hotel's bar and restaurant. The Westin provides their own frequent shuttle service to and from the nearby airport (DCA), and there is on-site parking available for a high price. Street parking nearby is recommended, and cost us $0.46 for 12 hours. Several public transit stops located in close proximity, less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

For my wife and me, the downside of the fancier hotel is a lack of the free amenities we typically enjoy. No free wifi, no free TV/movies, no free breakfast, etc. Some of those perks are available at no additional cost with the hotel chain's membership. Hotel staff were cordial and helpful during our stay.

Overall, the Westin in Crystal City is a beautiful hotel, great for a brief stay and comfortable night of restful sleep.

Well. First off, it had one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The hotel bar makes STRONG drinks. The hotel is 5 minutes away from downtown Washington D.C. The Pentagon City mall is about 10 minutes away, on foot and 3 minutes away driving. They had some decent eateries around the corner on 23rd Street. You must pay for your own wifi and the rooms don't have microwave ovens, only refrigerators. HOWEVER, my significant other paid for our stay using his debit card and every night, during our 3-day stay, this hotel was deducting something from his account and everyone, at the front desk, had different explanations as to why..They were putting holds on everything from the room deposit to the indoor parking. Just taking money out for something daily! Plus they charged him twice, for parking, during one of the days. He is supposed to get refunded all of it back, in several days, but it was really messing up our mood that everytime he went to check his bank account, there was a debit from the Westin during our stay there! Don't use your debit card to pay here. Also, the restaurant, inside this hotel, isn't that great. Our breakfast was horrible. My waffles were dry and tasted burnt. Everything was bland. I will still give it four stars because of it's proximity to Washington DC, eateries, the shopping mall and cleanliness.

It's quite a nice hotel. No free breakfast but the breakfast buffet was alright. Had lox, chives, bagels, fruit, etc.

The beds were extremely comfortable. They don't skimp on blankets, pillows or curtains so it was great to sleep there.

Also, the rain-style shower was high pressure and they even give you a cotton robe in the room!

However, the decor was quite bad (odd off-kilter patterns), the walls were so thin that I could hear the person in the room next to me belch, and there was no microwave in the room.

But overall, a solid place to stay that's close to the airport. Shuttle was decent and runs every 30 minutes.

Can't say enough good things about the Westin at Crystal City. Conveniently located to where we needed to be. This hotel is not far from the airport, with easy access with an Uber to shopping, dining and sightseeing. This hotel is clean with Staff who are extremely helpful and friendly.

We came late xmas night, left before dawn for the airport during covid so we didnt have much interaction with staff....with that being said, I found my new go to for flying out early. I reserved the stay and fly package. It's awesome! For just a few dollars more than the daily airport lot, you can stay and park here. They shuttle you to and fro the airport. It works so great for early morning flights and takes the stress off of getting up, out, and to the airport in the wee hours of the morning.

Great, quiet location near metro and walk to groceries & restaurants. Very helpful front desk service. Clean, comfortable, modern room. Nice rainfall shower head. Decent mini fridge. Great 24 hour gym. Light intrusion from gap between curtains, under front door, and from smoke alarm; and wobble noise from AC could annoy some trying to sleep. Overall, I'd return.

I was here for business and I have to say that the staff was AMAZING!!! I booked an extra day on my personal tab the same day my business stay ended and the front desk was able to make a smooth transition so I could stay in the same room. Not only that, I ordered food and the engineer delivered it to my room as I wasn't aware that is the policy for delivery. I'm very impressed and feel that I was taken care of very well as a visitor to the area. Thank you so much!

Excellent location for a DC and Alexandria visit! Next to the Crystal City Metro subway station, which I strongly advise a SmarTrip card in DC. My truck didn't move for 3 days. Parking garage below. If comfortable beds and awesome showers matter to you, its worth every dime! Get a Premium room for better views on the West side. We have stayed before with our 2 Chihuahuas in a Premium King and I thought I would never get my husband out of the shower! He came outta there and said he could shower 3xs a day! Lol... This time, with my son, went with a standard double and it was tight. No microwave, which was a real downer since we are late night ramen snackers and do breakfast sandwiches on the run that we couldn't heat up. Microwaves are a priority for heating up leftovers as well so a star off for that. Does have fridge for a few drinks. Beds, shower, and Metro was still great though! Close to 23rd street where restaurants are and Metro station has a mall with restaurants as well.

I'm enjoying the place. It's old but the bathroom is upgraded and clean. Gave it 4 stars because my room in the 10th floor's carpet needs serious refreshing. It smells like staph. Nice stay otherwise, just don't walk around barefoot.

Am a "local" who occassionally visits the bar/restaurant on the 1st floor. Food, for the most part, is fairly good, though menu is limited. Drinks are expensive. Service personnel is limited to 2 at most, so there can be a "back-up" - but staff is attentive.

Nice hotel, convenient location. The free shuttle to/from the airport leaves on the hour and every 30 minutes from the hotel. Leaves the airport at 15 and 45, although it did take off a little early when we arrived so we had to Uber.

Good hotel but with few small issues. The internet is paid. I chose the more expensive bundle for streaming and spotify stopped working and this reset my downloaded library altogether. The bathroom tap would only give very hot water after around 11pm so you had to brush your teeth earlier. this was very unusual. In the bathtub the shampoo dispenser was broken and they didn't fix it while I was there. I didn't complain because it really doesn't matter at all and I don't think should influence anyone while choosing hotel. I'm pretty sure it would have been fixed if had I asked for it.

Breakfast was not great quality or variety, just ok, but very expensive. I was told by the reception it is $19 but after all it was 23+tax ($25.30 total excluding tip)

The gym is good and clean, offers towels and has a good basic set of machines and weights. This was the most positive point.

I would consider returning to the same hotel. There is nothing concerning and the room is spacious and very cozy.

The location was perfect for us. The hotel is badly in need of a renovation. The public spaces are showing wear but the rooms are even more well-worn. Everything was clean and worked, but the wallpaper is peeling, the furniture shows very heavy use. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant are running on minimal staff who were nice but overworked.

I booked through the Marriott app the same day. I thought I chose 2 double beds/parking package but upon arrival it was a 1 king room. I went back down to check in and it was a king room. They had no double rooms available and I needed 2 beds. They provided me with a rollaway bed promptly (very comfortable) and we were off to visit Washington DC. Hotel is close to subway station

We stayed here two nights and it was great. Friendly staff, comfortable beds and up to date rooms make it a good place to stay. The TV is old though and some channels do not work which is odd given the technology we have today. It is close to the metro and shops nearby. We drove to National Harbor and it was 15 mins away with traffic. Parking is expensive and the buffet breakfast is $23 per person which I feel is too much since you can go to so many places outside the hotel. Overall, I love its closeness to everything and I would stay there again if I needed to in the future.

Located in the tourist and travel convenient, "Crystal City", the Westin provides a great hotel experience minus a few glitches. There was a considerable delay getting served at the bar, but the staff member did apologize. The room was nice; although the sink was clogged, and the light fixture and shower head needs to be cleaned and sanitized.

Nice amenities, including dining, fitness, and a lounge bar, and a room safe.

A few more upgrades could greatly enhance an already good hotel experience.

Parking is costly, but there are street parking options and a gas station in close proximity.

I would go back.

Proximity to Metro was great! The staff here was absolutely top notch! Friendly and accommodating! The lobby is lovely and you’d expect with the brand. The room was good and we liked the view. The bathroom leans to the claustrophobic side. Two people cannot be in there together. After seeing the shower head I’m resolved to never stay in a Westin again as they seem to favor the rain head and wand combo. It’s not my preference to use a wand for an entire shower since I’m never washing my hair while traveling.

Was a brief overnight stay. Mostly slept, and then cleaned up the kids messes before checking out and heading home. Was (initially) clean, comfortable. Only complaint being the non-operational refrigerator. They tolerated me bringing my hopped-up scooter up to the room with no objections. Even though it's a dorky scooter, it's also clearly a ne'er do wells hopped up scooter. Hotel reactions run the gamut. It definitely looks like a trouble-makers vehicle. Sometimes hotels seem amused when I bring it in. Not always the case.

Customer service was great when my flight was canceled and got me another night. However the rooms are loud, bathrooms next door are outrageously loud. The rooms need some updating. And the heat is capped at 70. When it's frigged outside, I don't really want luke warm air blowing. I froze even though I kept trying to turn up the heat.

I was there for business and the food they made for the event was great! Everyone loved all the meals.

I absolutely loved my stay here recently. The rooms were beautiful and then front desk ans cleaning services were so accommodating. Yet, there was one person that elevated my experience while here. For anyone staying here, you must go to the bar and ask for Nikki!! She made the best drinks I've had in a long time. I couldn't believe she was still in training. She was had great conversation and made me feel welcomed and her drinks were to amazing. Her chocolate old fashion....👀💖. Whatever you do, if you stay here make sure you get to experience Nikki. She's the best!!

Overall was a decent hotel with excellent access to the metro. The bar downstairs was nice as well, and the food was decent. The reception desk was accommodating and courteous as well. The rooms were nice and had convenient places to charge your electronics. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was well appointed with a rain shower and wand. Lastly, the parking garage was easy to access below the hotel. However, my complaint was that I could hear the guest next door speaking on the phone. It was difficult to fall asleep until he ended his call.

This past Sunday, my husband and I decided to take a staycation at The Westin Crystal City Hotel. We decided to grab a drink prior to going up to our room when we encountered a very charismatic bartender, named Nikki Nolan. She made us a strawberry margarita, as well as a strawberry pomegranate margarita 🍹 She not only made the most aesthetically pleasing drinks we had experienced (including the water), but her service was impeccable. We came to find out that she was new, and we wanted to express how lucky the Westin hotel is to have her. We will be coming back particularly due to her service (surely not due to the cost of parking 😅)

Rooms are dated but clean. Hotel in general is clean and I have had no issues. My only issue is the breakfast…I received free vouchers which is nice but the standard cost is $23 for a buffet that is what I would expect for free from any other Marriott chain.

An outstanding stay. I want to give props to Tiffany at the front desk as she set the tone with her attention and warm greeting. It is sometimes overlooked but the front desk communication is key to making a guest feel welcome - and if you aren't genuinely enrolled in the guest's experience it shows. Again Tiffany gets A+++. And everything flowed smoothly from there - clean comfortable room, top notch Heavenly bed, a good night's rest and a healthy breakfast buffet. Checking out on the Bonvoy app is a Breeze. I've stayed at a number of Marriott properties in Crystal City over the years and they have all been great!

The hotel is very nice and updated. It is in a great location with easy access to the Pentagon, Washington D.C., and local night life. The breakfast is on par for a buffet. The dinner choices are many and the crab cakes are delicious. Erika at the desk was very helpful and friendly. Some of the machines are not Mastercard friendly. Well worth it and enjoyable stay.

Have stayed here before, had a reservation for two beds, when I checked in was issued a room for a single bed, and wasn't told. We can send you a roll away bed, it was cheap and uncomfortable. The parking can be confusing, the rooms are nice, clean and a good shower.. lots of shops in the building and really good location. Be prepared to pay for parking.

I had a great stay at this hotel with my colleagues from work. It looks amazing the moment you step in the lobby, but once you’re in the elevator till you reach your room, it’s not as amazing as it seemed when you stepped in! A little outdated…everything else! On my second day, it was scheduled (by the hotel) to change all access units on all the hotel room doors!! I was in my room working when the team came to remove, drill and fix the new access units, after which I had to visit the front desk to change my access cards. Nevertheless, the beds were so comfy and the room in general wasn’t bad at all. It has a refrigerator and a coffee maker, which was great! They have a small shop downstairs if you need water or some snacks. There bar is quite nice with variety of drinks but the seating was sometimes limited. Breakfast was surprisingly below average, and sometimes awful, besides one of the staff in the restaurant was quite rude when talking to him. Location is great, just 5-7 mins drive to downtown DC, and many restaurants and bars just around the corner (5 mins walk).

The Westin was an incredible experience for me. I didn't stay too long (just a night as I was stopping in for a wedding yesterday evening). Top to bottom, their client service was exceptional. I had flown in out of LaGuardia to DCA a little bit early (wind was at our back!). ETA was 12:25 PM but I got there at 11:55 and at the hotel by 12:10. Despite the estimated 1pm check in time, they were able to accommodate me and I was able to head in to my room.

The room was superb -- king bed, all the standard towels and toiletries and they even provided me toothpaste because I didn't think to pack for a 24 hour turnaround stay. When it came to the wedding, the staff was super nice. Very cordial and at the ready for requests and the like, and set up added to ambiance of the wedding.

In the absolute, they simply did exceedingly terrific work and made this an unforgettable wedding day experience that I had the pleasure of attending. This was the first time I had been in DC on leisure, so they certainly set the bar! Thank you!

Excellent hotel. Friendly and efficient staff. Room was a great size and the bed was very comfortable. Plush comforter and pillows that kept us at just the right temperature over night. Fantastic shower. Probably one of the best showers I have ever had. Loved all the little amenities throughout.

FYI parking is $44 a night but really it ends up being about the same price as the hotels that include parking (at least with the rate we got from Priceline).
