Solid 4 stars hotel. First time visiting and it was a pain to find the hotel’s garage. The building is going through major re-construction now but I believe once all that is done this hotel is a gem. It has a restaurant and a gym in it. The location is close to great restaurants, just 5mins from DCA airport and train / bus stations.I recommend and I’ll return.

Nice hotel and several restaurants in walking distance to eat.

Room was inviting but coffee supplies were lacking. Clean and comfortable bed. The room I had the TV was mounted at a side angle from bed. Odd layout but I was only here 4 days.

Restaurant is ok but staff are not busy yet never seem to be engaged with their customers.

Food was ok but luckily McDonalds is close by. Gyro spot was tasty too.

Overall nice hotel with a friendly staff and gym is way better than most other Hilton properties.

The hotel is clean and has friendly staff. Comfortable bed and a convenient shuttle to the airport. But the rooms haven't been updated in a while and the air system is very loud.

Typical airport hotel. I was in town for a national conference. I don't think the hotel was staffed properly for the size of our event so the wait staff struggled during meals and in the set up of our business meetings. The staff were all more than nice and willing to do anything I asked so that was great. We will be back next year and I believe the review will become 5 stars!

Great property and location. Return to open would be great, but services and occupancy were still both reduced. School buses and tours are back but never a conflict as this hotel keeps them separated. Great job.

This Hilton is a little old but fairly well maintained. Great proximity to the airport and can walk easily to a few restaurants or catch an Uber or metro to DC. Parking garage is under the hotel which is convenient. If you are parking recommend getting the stay and park rate which gives you parking for a much lower price than just paying directly to park. Our king bed room was very large and it was clean but the could use some updating. The lobby area looks modern and clean

Stayed here for the last two weeks for work. Overall stay was great, executive lounge helped me save food $$, maid staff was super helpful. The receptionist Timicha definitely was the highlight of the stay. Super friendly and helpful from the time I confirmed my room prior to arriving, to checkin and throughout the stay. She is likely the best receptionist I have interacted with while traveling, hands down.

I was here for only a night, but contrary to other recent reviews, the experience was positive. The hotel was a clean space everywhere. The hotel reception personnel were first-class as I would expect from a hotel which charges guests first-class prices.

Important tip for guests: You should type 2399 Jefferson Davis instead of 2399 Richmond Hwy into GPS to find the place physically. There is some kind of annoying address mix-up on the Hilton website about hotel location.

The on-site restaurant serves surprisingly good hamburgers and thick tasty French Fries.

Great staff, clean rooms. I couldn't use a desktop computer in their business lounge - only wifi throughout the building. Parking is $35 a day.

The hotel was exceptional for my stay. The room was clean, bed comfortable and workspace was adequate for me to get a days work done. Service was excellent as well. I had interactions with numerous staff members and everyone was accommodating and friendly. The shuttle worked very well, arriving a few minutes after I got my bags on arrival, and the return trip being about a 15 minute wait as it had just departed. I have stayed here a few times and it's not disappointed me yet. I would say it's due for a bit of a renovation as the rooms are beginning to seem a little dated - but this isn't a huge detractor. Overall I had an excellent stay and will stay again!

I love staying here. It’s close to the airport. Consistent shuttle to and from. Rooms are always clean. Beds are very comfortable.

Yes they are under construction but I look forward to seeing the renovations! It stay here days at a time and Ive never smelt any smoke. Or heard any construction noise in the evening or early morning.

The workers are always so kind and accommodating! Keep up the great work guys.

Came here with an organization for a summit conference. The only negative comment I have is that there was a lady (short, curvy, middle aged looking) at the front desk that was extremely dismissive and rude when asked a simple question about the shuttle bus. For someone who agreed to a hospitality job… she needs to work on being hospitable. Her attitude was completely unnecessary when we were waiting for the shuttle for over 30 minutes trying to be on time for our flight.

Other than that. The stay was great. Room was clean and was cleaned thoroughly for the three days I stayed. A front desk lady (from New York) and Milton were extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating along with some other staff members. Central location. Not too far from downtown DC and plenty of food options in walking distance.

Good sized rooms. Beautiful entry area. Only issue is the elevators. The hotel definitely needs a few more elevators because they get congested quickly

This is a wonderful hotel. Clean, restaurant in the hotel also. If you are a gold or diamond member, even better as they have a executive lounge and serve free breakfast in it every morning. A wonderful experience, highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again!

Clean hotel. I stayed in a queen size bed room and it was very clean. Hotel is well kept and I found every member of staff I came in contact with to be very accommodating. My 5 day stay, thanks to my Company, included complimentary breakfast which I found to be very satisfactory since it included a great variety of items. I honestly have zero complains about my experience.

We were here in June for a business conference. We brought the kids and it was our daughters birthday. We went downstairs for the continential breakfast and the staff in the dining room went over and above to make her a special birthday breakfast without us asking. (We just asked for a lighter to light the candle we brought.) My daughter still talks about it to this day (6 months later!) They were so kind and we are so thankful.

Also, the rooms are great. There was a lot of construction happening, but it was still nice and a pretty good distance from everywhere we wanted to visit. There's tons of places walking distance from the place including a bowling alley/arcade/restaurant place that was very fun.

The hotel was really nice. My only complaint about them is the bathroom is really small and the pipes are insanely loud and lost pressure a lot during my showers. But the rest of the room and the hotel was nice. The staff in the restaurant and at the desk were all really nice, but the shining stars were Lulu and Senait at the little Starbucks cafe. We ate down there for breakfast most days, and they were both so kind and welcoming. I would come back just for them!

This was a nice hotel. I really liked the room (king size bed.) The front desk personnel were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I ate dinner at the Oasis Bar. It was "ok." The elevators were incredibly slow. The parking garage was a nightmare. The exit to drive out was not marked and it was incredibly tight and not easy to navigate. The hotel was very convenient as far as location and there was a great selection of restaurants nearby within walking distance. The doors are not soundproof, so it could be a little noisy when people were talking in the hallway. I am a 30+ year Hilton Honors member but not Gold or Platinum. Unless you are gold or platinum, Hilton Honors doesn't really mean anything. I was told I didn't qualify for any of the perks. Overall, it was a nice hotel and I would recommend it.

Wonderful staff, clean rooms and great service. From check in to check out everyone was so helpful. I got stuck in DC after a cancelled flight and booked here last minute, I was grumpy and tired when I checked in but was smiling by the time I got to my room. A special thank you to Geo for helping me in the morning and chatting with me while I waited for the shuttle and a thank you to Yosef for being so kind and helpful on my ride to the airport. I will definitely be back!

Last minute stay over when our flight got cancelled. Location and staff were perfect. Lately it seems like so many places have let service decline and I felt like the service at the Hilton Crystal City was the exact opposite. Everyone was welcoming, kind and very helpful. It was such a pleasant surprise considering some of my recent experiences in other service related places. We will definately stay again if we are in town.

Honestly, the negative reviews scared me a little bit, but I can honestly say, those reviews were not accurate. We had a great stay. Yes, there was construction going on, but they do whatever they can to make your stay comfortable regardless. We didn’t hear any noise, but even if we did, they provided earplugs. We didn’t have any trouble with the elevator (some people were saying it was slow) but I disagree. The metro is walking distance which is convenient, and there are plenty of restaurants around the area. We stayed on the 12th floor and were able to easily access the gym which was great. I loved how the lobby had different flavored water everyday. Kevin and Sameer were extremely helpful over email with getting us one of the renovated rooms. It looked very modern and made our stay all the better. Gary at the front desk was extremely helpful with any question I had and had a great attitude. Overall I would come back and can’t wait to see how the new renovations will look!

Super clean, comfortable bed and nice staff. This hotel is definitely haunted, I woke up to something touching me and couldn’t sleep after that (if you’re into that). There’s a lot to do in the area, plenty of restaurants and bars even a strip club and a hookah lounge. Very short drive from the airport too and free shuttle.

I have stayed here several times and it started out great but had been going down since then. There is construction now that plans to make it better in the future but there were several issues with my room. AC did not cool well, the toilet has a leak that makes it run every hour or so, and the curtains do not keep the sun out.

The staff is amazing! Always checking to make sure everything is ok and very friendly overall. It's nice they have food on site but there is also a lot of food with in walking distance. The rooms were nice and clean. They even have a cute place to take photos set up in the lobby.

I actually loved staying at this place. It has an absolutely delightful scent everywhere in the building. The lobby is modern, but allows for multiple gathering areas, there is a bar, and a Starbucks open in the morning.

The room/suite was outstanding in terms of arrangement and appointments/furnishings.

The reception staff is outstanding, and so multilingual!

However, both the hot and cold water came out scaldingly HOT. Showering made me understand how a lobster feels going into boiling water. There is also no microwave in the rooms. If you want to heat anything, the only one is in the lobby, and breakfast is not included, sadly I cannot award 5 stars. I would give 4.5 stars if it were an option. Additionally, the parking is quite pricey.

This was a great hotel. Close to the airport but couldn’t hear any planes. I read other reviews about elevators being renovated but during my stay it seemed to have been done. All three worked.

Front desk was super nice and helpful. The room was above average sized but maybe because I got the accessible room. Had a fridge but no microwave. Tv was good and bed was nice. View was pretty decent considering the area.

Really close to bowlero and a dining area that had a bunch of good restaurants. They had baggage storage and were chill about it.

There’s a restaurant inside but I suggest trying the dining spot across the street.

Close to 7-11 too.

Missed our flight so we stayed here for just one night. The complementary shuttle was awesome!! The driver was very pleasant, collected us from the airport, dropped us back the next morning & even took us to and collected us from a local mall because we needed to buy clothes & toiletries (baggage was gone ahead on our missed flight).

Because of the shuttle service alone I would definitely stay here again.

I didn't get the driver's name but he said he was from Ethiopia.....an absolute gem 👍.

The Hilton Crystal city is really in an airport hotel oasis. It is very close to DCA airport so very convenient from perspective. The downside you are in a building canyon with very little to do unless you want to catch a Metro to downtown or perhaps Old Town. The Hilton Crystal city feels dated with heavy furniture. But it was comfortable and had a very reasonable rate (I can not vouch for the parking cost).

Stayed 2 nights here. Location is not bad. Decent size room, it was good according to the price. Bathroom is small but it can be worked out. Huge mirror and plenty of supplies though they put a empty lotion bottle maybe forgot to refill 🫤 Now, if i come to the bad sides its gonna be parking. Its $47/night which is insane! If i knew this before i wouldn’t have booked this hotel. But the good thing is u get plenty of street parking near the hotel or other parking garages with less price to pay. Another thing is no microwave in the room which was disappointing as well. Buffet breakfast is $25 which we didn’t try

We needed to have a small gathering of family for an inurnment of two loved ones at Arlington National Cemetery. First order of business was identifying accommodations. When I called, I asked for group sales and was greeted by Karen. Polite and professional, and interested in making our stay as easy as possible. She did a great job. This was out first stay outside of our home since the start of COVID. I would say that the Hilton is taking this very seriously: hand wash stations everywhere, all employees were wearing masks even outside, etc. While this is an older hotel in their chain with smaller rooms, we were still comfortable. Karen also provided us a two page list of restaurants all within a 2-3 block walk. Checkin and checkout was easy. Thank you Hilton staff and Karen.

Three day business pleasure visit to DC. Room rate was competitive until you add in the $45 per day parking fee...that was equal to half the room price. Location was a $10 Uber to the central mall. $6 to the 23rd St restraunt district.

The hotel was clean the single queen size room was large but the bath was tiny. The shower was nice but the "14" commode was a problem for a 6'2" guest.

There was a lot of construction, renovation going on. Of the 3 elevators, I only saw 1 work which caused long waits.

The biggest reason I'll look for other options is the $45 per day parking fee. Oh, they have a proprietary TV channel service that is just bizarre.

We stayed two nights over the weekend to see the end of cherry blossom season in DC. The location worked very well for us as it was walking distance to the Metro into DC. The room was very nice and clean. I will say the bathroom had a lower ceiling so anyone who is particularly tall (above 6'2") may feel a bit claustrophobic in there. We used mobile check in and used digital keys. This allowed us to access the parking garage very easily upon our arrival as we had payed for parking in advance and did not have to stop at the desk for keys. The digital keys also worked seamlessly for our room. We did run into issues using the digital key in the elevators. Only 1 of the 3 elevators recognized our digital key. In the other 2 it would not work (which is the reason for 4 stars for service - it had nothing to do with the employees just technology deciding to be difficult). I received texts periodically from the hotel just checking in on us to see if we needed anything. I realized I had forgotten to pack make-up remover so I was able to have it delivered to my room for me while I was out exploring. Overall our stay was very nice.

Staff was very pleasant, rooms were clean, and the food was good when the restaurant was open. Couldn't be closer to the airport (Reagan) if you tried. Great local restaurants close by, and I felt safe walking to them. On-site garage parking was convenient, but you pay for that convenience.

I was only here for a few hours as I was attending a reception. I will say upon entering the hotel the front desk staff were warm and friendly. My family and I were greeted with a smile and welcomed.

The hotel is clean and beautiful. I was supposed to book a room at this hotel but decided not to as this hotel does not have a pool. Therefore, I booked a room at the Hyatt. Hilton please do better and add a pool!

Nonetheless, the hotel appears to be cozy, comfortable, clean and the staff appears to be attentive and professional. The food at the reception was delicious! Shout-out to the chef at the Hilton Crystal!!

Very comfortable, quiet, outstanding service. Stayed four nights on business. Dined in two nights. Room newly furnished, comfortable, and quiet. Good fitness center. On arrival, unable to unlock my room, staff promptly moved me down the hall, and all was good. In-hotel restaurant excellent and good value for the convenience. Staff conscientious and friendly; restaurant comped me a drink for barely slow service; front desk provided excellent local dining recommendations. Walk to Crystal City Metro a touch longer than I would have liked, but worth the amenities. Definitely coming back here.

This hotel is excellent! They are still working on a few details, so some construction going on. Two elevators being repaired, gym getting finished, etc. But IMHO opinion, it will be a huge value when finished.

Love the room, spacious and comfortable bed, great size tv.

I did not like sound and image on the tv that were not matched ( no idea why), and the toilet is size mini. Location is so so, although it's great to use DCA.

Easy parking, many meeting rooms, and easy free airport shuttle.

Nice hotel, convenient location, attentive staff. Unfortunately the building has a distinct musty odor. It is well concealed with scented air fresheners in the front lobby, but once you’re in the elevators and upstairs it becomes a little obnoxious.

The continental breakfast is ok, but not great. It’s also a little obnoxious that if you choose to have your Hilton Honors perk cover the cost of this breakfast, they still charge you a few bucks on top of this for taxes, etc…I would NOT pay $15 for that breakfast, and certainly not the $25+ they ask for their Hampton Inn level quality “hot breakfast”.

Other than the slight odor and disappointing breakfast, it is a decent hotel, but for the price I expect you can do a bit better in several of the others nearby.

I have to admit that I was a little concerned staying here due to all of the reviews regarding construction. So before booking, I called to get the status of the construction. My stay was fine. I didn't have any complaints. The only thing that was annoying was the parking. My mom has handicap sticker and people who didn't have decals were parking there, which is awful. People please respect folks with disabilities. I informed the front desk, and he called security. However, I am unsure how they will continue to manage that. Overall, no complaints, and it's accessible to great restaurants.
