Our room was spotless and surpassed my expectations. The view from the balcony was nice overlooking the city. And the check-in/out was quick and hassle-free, staff was friendly and kind. Plus the breakfast was pretty decent, offering delicious options. Would definitely recommend!

It was easy to find, especially for it being Miami. The rooms are nice, quiet, sound proof. I say that because we heard noone next to us and I'm fairly certain there were people. The breakfast is seated and a buffet. Coffee in lobby is good.
Of the three elevators the one on the right next to the elevator.. Seemed safest. The one sitting alone was shaky and rather slow to let us out. Great for scarring the kids into thinking we were stuck. Staff are great.
There is a workout gym near the restaurant. A pool for guest, and relaxing chairs and couches everywhere. There seemed to be a meeting hall on the other hand. I assume for meetings or balls or something
For those that are only about places that require mask to be worn... Find somewhere else. Staff have mask on hand for them. It is not a requirement so dont expect other guest to care about you or your mask. Maybe visit California instead if you are worried about that.

From the moment that I walked in, I enjoyed the hotel. The service was good, the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory, the sit down service was quick and the people were kind. The pool area was well kept. Unfortunately the water is not heated which is the only reason why I gave the hotel 4 stars. Visiting from up north, I was really hoping to get in and enjoy the water but I visited at a time when it was around 70 degrees but windy enough to make it colder outside. The water was even colder. Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Food wise, the pasta was delicious. Don't order the pizza because in my experience, the cheese tasted like plastic which may be another reason for the missing star. The view from my second floor room was of the bridge to the nearby freeway, an upgrade to my current view in New York city, but I hoped to see a bit more of the town. 25 minutes away from the airport with traffic is not a bad spot for the hotel. On my next visit, I'll have no reservations with booking here and honestly, you shouldn't either.

Decent hotel in Hialeah Gardens. Not much around if you are coming in from a flight and need some food. Uber eats is handy though. We were only here for about 12 hours since our flight came in late and we were leaving for a cruise in the morning.

Stayed here at least 10 times. Never had a problem with the room, always clean and in order. Gym is decent, outside pool is clean and enjoyable. Room service is efficient, no complaints here.
There is no breakfast included, the restaurant is not among my preferences.

Front desk provided exceptional service.
Breakfast was very good and reasonable. Food was much better compared to any nearby restaurants in terms of quality, quantity and prices.
Amenities are well maintained: pool, common lobby area, elevators, gym, etc.
Microwave is provided in the lobby. But we didn’t find it to be a big issue.
Lot of parking space available.
I’d definitely recommend for a affordable and comfortable stay in Miami area!

This is an old hotel, well renovated, with friendly staff seeking to please the clientele. 1st room was very nice but had broken ac. Not good. 2nd room had bath tub and adequate ac for hot climate. 8th floor hallway smelled funky. Not having to wait for check-in till 3 pm like other comparable hotels near the airport makes this hotel a favorite FOR ME despite it's age and fallicies. EDIT: Manager helped my awkward situation on a personal matter. Was very pleased with her assistance. 4 of 5 stars upgraded rating

I was a complete idiot, looking for a hotel, last minute, on New Year's Day. In a hurry to find something fast, I accidentally booked the wrong date through Hotels.com, which basically was a non-refundable booking. I literally thought I lost around $150, and still needed to find something.
I reached out to support on hotels.com, figuring it was at least worth a shot. The super friendly support person contacted the hotel, who changed our reservation date to make it work.
So... our night's rest, unexpected funds, and travel plans were in the hands of the super nice, sweet guy working the desk. I wish I would have gotten his name because he really pulled through for us.
On top of the incredibly accommodating service, the hotel, including our room, was very clean, modern, and welcoming.

Everybody at the hotel is really nice.from housekeeping to reception and kitchen team.
Some carpets are old and dirty but the rest is fine.
ATTENTION:Don't believe everything from their website!!
There is no shuttle service from airport which they still advertise and that really sucks.
For a refurbished property, some areas were never change or cleaned properly and you can see it clearly.
Don"t be picky,it's well priced,central location and staff is great.
Rooms are great size and have all modern furniture and ads on to have a nice stay.

From front desk to restaurant and beyond, the frontline staff at this hotel are top of the line. Others should look to them for a lesson in what outstanding service looks like.
The in-house restaurant boasts a nice range of selections at reasonable prices. Although I’m usually not a meat eater, I decided to try the steak salad. No regrets whatsoever.
As to the room, mine was spacious, highly functional, and nicely decorated . The quality of the bed and bedding was easy to see and feel. Extremely comfortable.
More importantly, the room was scrupulously clean.
With respect to location, this hotel isn’t as close to the airport as its name implies.
Also, one of the three elevators was out of service and I’m pretty sure the other two were holding out for a better contract. So, if you hope to get some place on time, take the stairs.

Breakfast costs, has 3 elevators so easy to get to your room. No sports channels in the room but in the lobby which makes no sense. Beds are not too hard or too soft. The a/c is so so because it works for a little bit but doesn't seem to keep cooling after 1 hour. Parking lot is huge and plenty of space. Can hear the interstate often in the night.

Great accommodations at Front Desk. Positive Check In Experience! Smiling faces working to satisfy each guest one after the other. Spot Light shines on DANIELLE, LAUREN, and others holding down the front desk. A Full Breakfast is ready early with a variety of foods to fill up on. Hot tea and coffee, orange juice and lemon/lime water. I love their breakfast buffet at this Holiday Inn. Lots of free parking for guest, additional parking in three level garage. Holiday Inn Miami-West Hialeah Garden is the place.

Hotel is nice and clean. The building is a little dated, but the furnishing looks brand new. Everything as expected from a holiday inn. The staff were all extremely kind caring. Beds were comfortable, and daily room service is a plus.
Keep in mind the hotel is located a few feet from a major highway, and in the room with balcony, all the noise comes straight into the room, as the doors don't seal well.

First room no issue, everything great!!!!
2nd room, issue with light switch, and the shower had a large piece of tiling missing. Later my guests in this 2nd room were initially denied the free breakfast in the morning that came with reservations.
It was cleared up, front desk attendant Holden was very professional, efficient & helpful.
My guests were also told they could not smoke outside, even though seated next to ash trays and were not around others. (Why ash trays, if no smoking aloud)?
Thought I would get a "little" reduction in charges for inconveniences, but none.

It's amazing how different Holiday Inns can be. Just a few days ago, we stayed at the I-95/ 7th Avenue Holiday Inn Miami with unpleasant results. Tonight, we are at the Miami West Hotel with wonderful service! Equally understaffed, but in this case, the gentleman manning the bar/restaurant did a great job serving hot food with a pleasant attitude. The menu was limited, but that is understandable it was him and the chef... Thank you, Miami West!

I’ve stayed here 2 times in the past 2 weeks. I would say that is a great value hotel for the money you pay, and it also included breakfast that they bring to your room. Some bathtubs seem to have a flooding problem, but they will change you rooms if thats the case. On a side note the last room we had was not so clean, but the beds were comfortable. Other than this, I’ve had not tried the gym or the pool, so I cannot give my opinion about it.

Liked this hotel...most of the staff were kind. A few people had a problem with where we parked and left a note on our vehicle saying that it was staff only parking. At the time there were no lots specifying that there was parking for staff only. Tried clearing 8t up with the front desk and that didn't work so I sent an email to Corp but I am not sure if it ever went through either.

The hotel location is good and the ambiance is cool. The rooms were clean and spacious. The view from the room was awesome! There are few opportunities to improve though. First of all there were supplies for morning tea/coffee but the coffee machine was missing. Even after reporting it to front desk they didn’t provide one. There are no free coffee machine available in hotel lobby. There was no coordination between hotel restaurants and reception. Even though I booked room with free breakfast I was charged and after talking to reception they sort that. This is not a good experience for a guest. We were not offered water during check in or check out unlike few other guests.
