Good place to stay but service could be better and the overall access to simple amenities. I had some equipment delivered here during my work trip and saw them the evening before. There were no dollies available as they only have two for the entire hotel, which I realized were hardly ever available. I went back to collect them the next morning on my way out and was told that nothing has been delivered for me. It was clear to me that the employee had no interest in actually going to look for them. I called my contractors, got tracking numbers and then went back to the front desk. It was not until I got a bit rowdy and again told the employee that I had seen them, going as far as telling him that it's just a matter of his coworkers putting them away somewhere and him being too lazy to actually inquire or look for them. Five minutes later he came out and said that they were there. This experience was very frustrating because all he had to do was his job. Additionally, I was not able to get a late check out not even by 30 minutes. No one informed me of breakfast options during check-in but I did notice takeaway plates outside of other room doors. Physically this hotel is in a great location. Rooms were clean and room service was available upon request. Service just needs immense improvement.

Everybody at the hotel is really nice.from housekeeping to reception and kitchen team.
Some carpets are old and dirty but the rest is fine.
ATTENTION:Don't believe everything from their website!!
There is no shuttle service from airport which they still advertise and that really sucks.
For a refurbished property, some areas were never change or cleaned properly and you can see it clearly.
Don"t be picky,it's well priced,central location and staff is great.
Rooms are great size and have all modern furniture and ads on to have a nice stay.
Although the hotel was nice and the rooms were clean, I had issues with the phone and my coffee maker not working in my room. When I let front desk know of this issue they never handled my problem. The food is atrocious and takes a long time to get to you.
OMG. My room was changed 3 different occasions due to heat and the toilet being stopped up. I see now through the reviews the the AC is always an issue. The Holiday Inn was in a great location. My last room that I received my last night was actually cooler however it had several spiders on the ceiling. Yikes. Glad to be going home. Also make sure you speak Spanish. The staff did try to accommodate. It's just that it was something every day. Buyer beware.😒

Not impressed by this hotel. They are very short staffed and cannot keep up with the housekeeping and maintenance. Double room did not have enough towels and when I called down for more I was told I would have to come get them because there was only one person working front desk and nonhousekeeping on staff. I also complained about AC not working properly since room was around 80 degrees and was told hotel was at capacity so they couldn't move me and they could not get anyone to come check AC until next day. Next day I called about the AC and they sent someone up while I was out and all they did was leave a fan in room. I had to go to the front desk to ask what is going on and they finally offered to find me another room with better AC. Pool area had no towels ever and was dirty with beer bottle caps and trash around pool area and water was not cleaned. Girls were also smoking hookah in pool and I told front desk but no one went to deal with it. The staff were all very nice and they did have excellent customer service which is the only saving grace of this property.
5 star service. Sergio, the manager is an absolute gentlemen. We had an AC issue with the room we originally checked in and he resolved it immediately. We were in the middle of moving and were having such a stressful day. Sergio displayed empathy and kindness. It sincerely made our day a little easier.
A5 stars all the way for this hotel. I am deeply impressed by how they handled the service correctly with no hassles at all. A clean and neat hotel like this was perfect! I will surely come back! Great front desk customer service! Very friendly and helped give good beach ideas. The rooms are starting to show there age though. A complete renovation is probably due.
I checked in late on the of the 24th. of April. I had a delayed flight and didn't make it to the hotel until almost midnight. I called the hotel to ask about the hotel shuttle from the airport and the purser was not very nice on the phone. I called about 2 times and the phone would ring for a long time until I get to the voice mail of the Financial Controller I think? I called again and the man on the phone answer once and hung up. I called again and on my 2nd attempt I was able to speak with him and he was very short with his answers, like bothered to be there. He told me the shuttle gad been discontinued, which I understand. I arrived to the hotel and checked in. I asked if he knew if he knew if I would have transportation for the airport the next morning (I am a cruise ship employee and we usually have that information at the front desk) and again, the man at the desk seem bothered and his answers were short, so I am assuming is the same person. Customer Service is not for everybody and he might find that this is not for him and maybe try something else that suits his personality and makes him happy so maybe he can smile a little.
On the other hand room was clean and I loved having coffee in the morning from the coffee machine in the room and check out was a fast and easy.
front desk staff are very rude and hardly at the desk, or they’re just on their phones. room was nice and clean. i called the front desk people for extra towels and he was very rude to me saying i had to come down myself cause he didn’t have time to leave the desk (which i didn’t mind to come and get it, he just could’ve been nicer about how he said it)

Great location. Off the beaten path of South Beach but still very close to main thoroughfares. Free parking and great amenities. They do NOT offer shuttle service to the airport at this time! Just fyi.
The front desk staff were very courteous and friendly. Room was clean. I had an issue that I brought to management and they handled it in a very timely and professional manner. I was very pleased with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.
I’ve stayed in Motel 6’s better than this place. First room I was given had the tub and bed covered in hairs and tub was moldy. Second room I was given had slightly less hair and mold but carpet had clearly not been vacuumed and was covered in puke stains. Bed and bath linens are stained. Air conditioner only puts out the suggestion of cold air. Plus I got to try and sleep to the soothing sound of illegal street racing outside all night. Last time I stay at a Holiday Inn.
I’ve stayed here 2 times in the past 2 weeks. I would say that is a great value hotel for the money you pay, and it also included breakfast that they bring to your room. Some bathtubs seem to have a flooding problem, but they will change you rooms if thats the case. On a side note the last room we had was not so clean, but the beds were comfortable. Other than this, I’ve had not tried the gym or the pool, so I cannot give my opinion about it.
I enjoyed my stay very much. The room was very nice, with a nice decor. The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The food was great as well. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Not impressed with the service. Room was not clean on arrival. Asked to change and it was done however no information associated with room was properly transferred to new room. Had to reschedule a pickup because information was not passed from one agent to the next. Lunch not delivered reason given room not on list even after they called to confirm order. Eventually food arrived and was cold and not what was ordered. Food placed on floor outside room very unsanitary. We understand covid precautions however a trolley or tray would be much better. Coffee station in New room had used cup plastic stuffed inside the cups. This obviously was not checked by housekeeping.
Very cozy hotel. Staff is very professional and friendly, doing above making sure that all your requests and needs are heard and fulfilled. Really nice hotel, recommended for stay in Miami. Hotel is fully follow COVID19 protocols and still making sure that Guests are satisfied. Fully recommended.
Stayed here at least 10 times. Never had a problem with the room, always clean and in order. Gym is decent, outside pool is clean and enjoyable. Room service is efficient, no complaints here.
There is no breakfast included, the restaurant is not among my preferences.
It has so much potential and it is a shame that the workers do not take care of this place. Small repairs and maintenance here and there can really make a big difference. Kind of feel like the gentleman at front desk yesterday night did not want to do anything also.
It's a nice place to stay easy access to shopping Malls and eatery .Breakfast was great and the staff was very hospitable.
Definitely wouldn't recommend if you don't speak Spanish. The only employees that speak a little English are the front desk.
The rooms seem clean at first glance, but the smell of cheap detergent is something you have to get used to in order to sleep. Also the windows provide no soundproofing so if the noise of the highway bother you, you won't be able to sleep.

As soon as i arrived, the front desk girl was accommodating and polite. Eliana was amazing at adhering to our needs and I would highly recommend this particular location to someone else solely because of my experience with her. She made my stay easier and more comfortable.

Breakfast costs, has 3 elevators so easy to get to your room. No sports channels in the room but in the lobby which makes no sense. Beds are not too hard or too soft. The a/c is so so because it works for a little bit but doesn't seem to keep cooling after 1 hour. Parking lot is huge and plenty of space. Can hear the interstate often in the night.
This place isn't bad just the rooms get hot sometimes. I spent 2 horrible nights .

My abuela flew in last minute and they told me they were fully booked and i cried to them and they couldnt help but called around to another hotel and found me a room. I dont member who she stayed at but i remembered what they did for me at this place. Thanks

We had a nice stay here. We had to make a last minute booking due to a family emergency. The hotel was nice and the staff was very accommodating.
Decent hotel in Hialeah Gardens. Not much around if you are coming in from a flight and need some food. Uber eats is handy though. We were only here for about 12 hours since our flight came in late and we were leaving for a cruise in the morning.
So many hidden fees. You don’t get charged for till you check out. It’s not free parking, free WiFi, or free shuttle. They charge you at checkout. Calling corporate later for refunds as website says otherwise.

Very crowded lobby and parking lot need more staff. I about got hit twice walking through parking lot. They also charge amenity fee which is non refundable. The clothes dryer was broken and hotel had full occupancy,,asked staff to accommodate my drying and they refused.
How this property has a ration over 4 stars is frankly unbelievable. The room was so dirty I had to change the bed immediately and highly considered leaving immediately forgoing any lost of money. They have completed renovations recently however everything in the room showed age due to lack of care. Please read the negative reviews they are 💯 on point. The front desk lady Sayra was a bit unpleasant and acted as if she was bothered to have to check me in. It was a great representation of how this hotel is maintained. It just doesn’t feel like anyone wants to be bothered to keep up the place.

There were plenty of reasons why my stay here was horrendous!!! First off, I felt like I was staying in a motel not a resort like it claims to be. There are stains everywhere, both on the carpets in the rooms and in the hallways. Stains on the pillow cases, other furniture in the room, the sheets and the wash clothes. I found chewed up gum in the corner of the couch behind the pillows with crumbs in it too. The showers are old and dirty. Walking through the hallways, I felt like I was in a horror movie. The rooms smelt awful like mildew and in the lobby their was a strong smell coming from the air vents. Next off, the customer service is the worst that I have ever seen. We were given wrong information every time we asked for help. We were being charged additional fees on things that we did not even use and online it says that these accommodations were free. My room key stopped working twice and I only stayed two nights. My family was discriminated against as well and we were not treated the same as other customers staying at this so called resort. I do not recommend anyone staying here, do not waste your time because it is really not worth it.

Nice staff, clean lobby. Hallway smelled like vomit, the room was pretty clean except for the bathroom... the little lotion and shampoo bottles were half used, there was a used towel in the bathtub, toilet and floor weren't clean (I was able to clean it with what I had in the room though) and mirror had toothpaste spit. Someone definitely skipped cleaning the bathroom this time. Hotel does offer room service, I didn't use it but nice option. Beds were clean and comfortable
Spent more than an hour and a half waiting for a shuttle from the airport. The hotel provided little to know information on what the van will look like. They didn’t provide the driver with our name as a means to verify either. Every holiday inn shuttle brushed us aside and wouldn’t validate any information effectively. It’s likely the shuttle had cone multiple times and the driver told us it was the wrong vehicle. After a 13 hr flight with over 9 hrs of no food and having a 4 yr old in tow, waiting this long and getting poor quality of service is completely unacceptable. Worse is the hotel didn’t care. Worst hotel shuttle service I have ever experienced anywhere in the world. Will NEVER come back.

This is an old hotel, well renovated, with friendly staff seeking to please the clientele. 1st room was very nice but had broken ac. Not good. 2nd room had bath tub and adequate ac for hot climate. 8th floor hallway smelled funky. Not having to wait for check-in till 3 pm like other comparable hotels near the airport makes this hotel a favorite FOR ME despite it's age and fallicies. EDIT: Manager helped my awkward situation on a personal matter. Was very pleased with her assistance. 4 of 5 stars upgraded rating

Great place and great price. The people are so friendly. The only reason I give a 4 star is because the scrambler eggs at the breakfast weren't that good cooked but if you can get over that then it's a 5 star.
I went to this hotel and I forgot my makeup bag in my room so I called them when I got home and they said that they didn’t find it and then I called back MONICA told me that they threw it out. It was a really expensive make up, everything from MAC. The total value of my makeup bag was around 450 dollars. I know that if it was cheap makeup they might returned it back to me but they knew it was really expensive. I’m very upset. They should understand that people don’t want to forget their things so they should return it back.

First of all we came all the way from Houston Texas and let me tell you this was the worst serviced hotel EVER IN MY LIFE! Beginning from mold all over the dining area ceiling!!! The kitchen staff was rude and very unprofessional including the kitchen and dining supervisor, these people have no manners and are despicable!! Overall it’s been a nightmare NEVER AGAIN WILL WE EVER COME TO THIS PART OF MIAMI!!!’

Lovely place to stay, and the rooms were clean. It was close to my destination so it was the perfect hotel to stay at. I always felt safe when I was in the hotel.
Had my car broken in in the middle of the night. Best part is that the security guard called bit did his best to start me away from the car garage. I felt something was off and went straight to garage. I asked for the camera recordings but nobody gave me a positive or negative answer. By now they probably erased all the recordings. That seems more like an inside job. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
Update: A year later and nobody contacted me to apologize or try to make things right. They did not cooperate with law enforcement either.

From the moment that I walked in, I enjoyed the hotel. The service was good, the room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory, the sit down service was quick and the people were kind. The pool area was well kept. Unfortunately the water is not heated which is the only reason why I gave the hotel 4 stars. Visiting from up north, I was really hoping to get in and enjoy the water but I visited at a time when it was around 70 degrees but windy enough to make it colder outside. The water was even colder. Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Food wise, the pasta was delicious. Don't order the pizza because in my experience, the cheese tasted like plastic which may be another reason for the missing star. The view from my second floor room was of the bridge to the nearby freeway, an upgrade to my current view in New York city, but I hoped to see a bit more of the town. 25 minutes away from the airport with traffic is not a bad spot for the hotel. On my next visit, I'll have no reservations with booking here and honestly, you shouldn't either.
