If you are going to pick a hotel near a lot of the sites in Miami and with a great staff that cares about you, this is it! I spent 7 months at this hotel and the hotel staff ensured that I felt like I was at home the entire time. The personnel at the front desk will do everything they can to ensure that you enjoy your stay and the housekeeping staff will ensure your room is cleaned and stocked with towels and wash cloths on a regular basis. (Don't forget to tip the housekeeping staff. Some of you leave your rooms a mess and they have to clean up after your dirty mess so the least you can do is tip them. While you are leaving a tip, leave them a nice thank you note and don't be surprised if they write you one back because they are nice like that.) The free breakfast in the morning is amazing and the drinks in the evening will make for a great start to your evening plans. (Again, don't forget to tip those that are pouring your drinks. The drinks are free so you can spare a few dollars for tips.) I would leave the hotel through the pool area on some mornings and I can tell you that the pool and hot tub are well maintained so enjoy the pool and hot tub knowing that you are swimming in clean water. The maintenance personnel will ensure that anything that is broken in your room is taken care of quickly so if you find something wrong with your room, just ask to have it taken care of, no reason to be rude about it. With all of that, I would like to give a huge THANK YOU to all of the staff at Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport! You all are the best!
When we arrived we were told that the room we had originally booked on the hotel’s website was unavailable because they didn’t have very many house keepers and it hadn’t been cleaned, so we checked into a different room. When we turned the shower on in that room, the water would not get hot. Since the water wouldn’t get hot we were relocated to a different room. The 3rd room we were given was EXTREMELY hot and the thermostat read 81. When my daughter got into the shower the next morning the fire alarm went off from the shower steam and hot temperature in the room waking everyone up. I DID NOT enjoy my stay.
Brian is really nice and accommodating. The breakfast was really good and decent considering covid restrictions. Rooms are big with a great view of. It’s and airport.
I left a bag of clothes and was told no bag was found although it’s the only place it can be. Marcia is extremely rude and abrasive. She’s non helpful and I feel my bag was stolen or thrown away since I’ve been giving the runaround. Story still developing....
Clean, well appointed suites. Very convenient airport shuttle 24/7. Breakfast buffet and happy hour are free. Very little vegan food in restaurant, but otherwise it has everything we needed and we will stay there again.
Clean, well appointed suites. Very convenient airport shuttle 25/7. Breakfast buffet and happy hour are free. Very little vegan food in restaurant, but otherwise it has everything we needed and we will stay there again.
Had good service. The are not many places to eat a evening meal only one. If you wish you are able to go to the restaurants around the area. They do provide a shuttle service. The breakfast was very good
It's self service.
This hotel is great! The decore is very contemporary and the staff is very friendly & helpful. The restaurant serves good food as well. A couple of outstanding highlights are the evening "Kickback" sessions; which allows you to sit back, relax and enjoy the snacks and free drinks. The other highlight is the delicious, hot, made to order breakfast. This is a great way to start a productive day! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at this hotel. When we return to Miami, we'll definitely be staying here again.
I worked there for a total of 11 years and 4 months. The people I worked with were wonderful. The benefits package is very very good. The volume of work though can be very overwhelming at times.
From the moment we arrived from the airport (Took 3 shuttle buses to finally arrive)to ordering food at their restaurant (Grill 305) is horrible. Costumer service what is that around here? Will update after speaking to management.
Restaurant Manager made it all better with some ice cream for the kids and a discount.
No hot water in some rooms. Malfunctioning items in rooms and some missing toiletries. Front desk tried their best to accomplish a pleasing result with my stay. So much for being a member.
I would like to thank Victor at the front desk for taking care of us at 1am! After being giving the run around by overbooked hotels, Victor saved the night! My hat to you Victor, you are an asset to the company.
Our room was great and breakfast was GREAT!
The staff was very helpful when we asked them if we could park our trailer. Parking was $20 each spot, so we paid $40 in total.
The ground level looks very nice. The pool is outdoor, so we could not use it because the temperature was not high enough:(.
It is located in the middle of industrial are, but we felt that the neighbourhood was relatively safe.
Breakfast was good. The egg station lady is so skillful and experienced.
Well I am a Gold member with Hilton and this hotel needs help. They are very under staffed at the front desk. The person there was working hard but only so much one person can do.
No one answers the phone. Tried room service, front desk and no one answers the phone. Not good for customer service.
The rooms need to be renovated. Looks like they have not been touched since the '70s. The lobby has been remodeled but nothing else.
The breakfast was cold. If they want to do buffet style that's all in well, but keep the food warm at least.
This could be a great place to stay it just needs help.
The room was as clean as you can get a 1970s hotel room and the TVs need to be updated to at least the 2000s vintage.
Come on Hilton, you Can Do Better.
I booked and prepaid for our room in March for one night prior to a cruise. We waited 90 minutes to check in and I was the only the 4th person in line. One guest took one hour to check in and the clerk left the desk 4 times in the process of checking them in. The hotel was oversold and even with the Orange Bowl in a couple of days the hotel didn’t staff up. Our room was dated and a carpet dryer was left in the room. We requested a double bed but received a king. Then again we were happy just to get a room. Definitely won’t be staying here again in the future.
I would say this hotel is mediocre at best. The hotel is similar to other embassy suites that we have stayed in, but looks a bit old and run down.
When we first walked into the room there was a sort of unpleasant musk. The breakfast was closed early and horribly crowded. Many guests complained.
Then there’s the elevators. 2/5 were shut down, and it was hard to get up to our room with the crowds waiting for the elevators. Once we were in the elevator and it got stuck between floors for a few minutes. Once we got out, the staff mocked everyone in the elevator for being frightened, like this was a regular occurrence.
The parking is outrageously expensive and not particularly convenient, as it is hard to find a spot.
We have a family of 6, so we used the pull out couch which is one of the most uncomfortable beds I have ever encountered. Overall, not great.
Location location location. And this hotel has it, or at least it is centrally located in Miami. Close to downtown, Everglades and zoo. Rooms are typical embassy suites. You can hear a train whistle on one side of the hotel so we had to move. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
Very friendly staff beginning with the reception and every one throughout our stay. Older 2 bedroom suite, but very clean. Excellent cocktail hour with all free drinks and snacks. Constantly replenished. Amazing breakfast buffet and made to order omelets. Their "PARK AND GO" program is ideal and the best price for anyone flying out of Miami Airport - only 8 minutes by shuttle - or going on a cruise. We certainly will be back. Thank you for the outstanding experience!
This is a nice place. Happy hour is great. Breakfast is great. It looks like they remodeled the atrium, however, I don't think the rooms have been upgraded in a while. Everyone is nice and our group had no problems here. However, for the money you pay, the place should be a bit nicer, hence the 3 stars.
I love staying at the Embassy Suites but this one didn't live up to their reputation especially being at the airport. The staff was extremely nice and very helpful and the lobby is beautiful. But the hotel rooms are very outdated. The sofa bed in our room was very old and the pillows were torn/shredded and smelled like mildew. There was an air freshener plug in the vent which I'm assuming was to try to cover the moldy, mildew smell. My parent's bathroom smelled of old urine even though the room had just been cleaned. The doorknob on the room next door to ours was falling apart when the door was opened. Luckily we were only there overnight in order to be ready for our cruise the next morning. Breakfast was good but very chaotic & unorganized compared to other Embassy Suites hotels when it came to the meal tickets. There was no way for the staff to know who was really staying at the hotel. She walked around asking for the tickets after people were already seated or were in line for the omelet station. Overall the price was cheap for our overnight stay but unless it's completely renovated we won't be back for an extended period.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week and we enjoyed it. The location was very conveniently close to every place we wanted to visit. The room was big, clean, and felt comfortable. Breakfast and happy hour were great. I highly recommend this hotel.
I found staying at this hotel to be a very pleasant experience. I was here for a couple days for a work meeting. The hotel has a great breakfast and the staff were very friendly and attentive to my needs, even helping me look for a lost item. If my travels take me back to this area, I'll look forward to staying here again.
The staff does a lot for this hotels rating, as they are personable and very helpful. The hotel itself has a nicely renovated lobby and good restaurant/bar but the rooms need a major facelift... If it weren't for the staff this would be 2 or 3 stars at best.
My husband loves this hotel! He appreciates Brian (I hope I got his name right) and the housekeeping staff very much! We stay here quite Often! Out of the majority of the Hilton properties in Miami, he enjoys Embassy’s hotel, location and most of all their breakfast! Lol! The gentleman who checked us in was amazing! I didn’t catch his name but his interaction with my 2 year old was super sweet and very much appreciated!! In my property we focus in forming a bond with our guest! We try to ensure to make our hotel their home away from home and it’s evident Embassy suite has the same value as we do! Thank you for that!
Embassy suites MIA is located just around the corner from the airport, MIA, and run a shuttle every half hour back and forth from the airport. There is plenty of parking at the hotel, however they charge you $21 a day which is extortionate! Baring that it is a well located hotel for the airport, and they have a nice lobby and atrium, with a nice gym and an outdoor pool. They also run a manager's reception between 5.30pm and 7.30pm with snacks and drinks which is great. The rooms are a good size but could do with an update as they are showing age. Another drawback is that it is right on the flight path and the train line which both are noisy. Overall a good hotel at the airport though
The only reason that I give them 3 stars is not to have a separate and individual way to access the swimming pool! It’s very DISGUSTING to see shoeless and topless people wrapped in the towels without any flip flops walking in the lobby and dripping water everywhere. Imagine you are sitting in the lobby enjoying the atmosphere then see wet footprints everywhere!!! They must rather find a new hallway or put some strict rules for guests to dress up appropriately after swimming!!!
Its okay. Its nothing fancy about it. The lady at the bar is awesome and very nice. We had a great time visiting and just having fun. I enjoyed myself and the room are big and spacious. We had 4 people in one room. Two beds and sofa bed....can’t beat the price.
Embassy suites by Hilton, has a great name. You arrive at the door and are greeted by the pleasant scenery and smell. Past the entrance is a most beautiful water fountain. At this point im well pleased. But that's where it stops. I am very disappointed, in the customer service - I had to call twice for an extra towels and I seemed to be bothering the front desk with my requests. The cleanliness - where are the cleaning products and vacuum on the maids carts? Why is my room not cleaned till after 5pm everyday? Are the sheets changed at check out? If you looking for a great experience, I recommend staying somewhere else.
When we stayed there was an elevator down and construction at the front entrance. The rooms are unique, not very modern but provide plenty of space between the living room area and bedroom. The bed was comfortable enough and the room served it's purpose. Nicely situated near the airport and shuttle service is provided. Customer service was good.
I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were not the most updated but they were CLEAN!! The breakfast was great. We wanted to check in early so we put our name on the waiting list and we had a room by 1pm on the top floor just as I requested. FREE AIRPORT SHUTTLE IS ALWAYS A PLUS!! 3 minor issues with this hotel. First, the front desk needs some help. Every time I went to it only 2 people were working but the line was long. Customer service was great though. Second the elevators are tiny. Third I was very confused about if this hotel was smoking or not. Outside of every room it’s says no smoking but online it gives you the option for a smoking room. All in all I would definitely stay again.
